Jag blev djupt berörd av Rosa Bandet-Galan ikväll. Många minnen väcktes till liv. Tårarna rann och jag kunde känna smärtan, andras smärta, empatikänsla över mina medmänniskors lidande och öde. Jag mindes min egen smärta och kamp, då jag kämpade för mitt liv. Jag har haft bröstcancer två gånger i mitt liv. Bara den som har fått cancerbesked kan förstå, veta hur hårt det är att få ett sådant besked! En annan gång ska jag berätta något jag aldrig har berättat för er ännu…när jag orkar det! En sång som tröstade mej under min sista cancerkamp, var Westlifes sång, “You raise me up”….Jag minns hur jag låg hopkurad under mitt täcke och lyssnade på den sången, som fanns i min dåvarande mobiltelefon. Tårarna rann. Jag bad till Gud om att få leva!

Dedico essa música a duas pessoas muito especiais em minha vida. Amo muito vocês…

Aqui está um pouco do nosso concerto de aniversário. Em breve mostraremos um pouco mais do que se passou nesse dia.

The Brown Eyed Girls rocked the stage last weekend by coming to New York to do the “Abracadabra” in the annual Korean Chuseok Festival.

The fierce foursome having rockin all summer with their smash hit and got to perform it all the way overseas! The girls performed three songs Abracadabra, How Come, and a cover of Josh Groban’s “You Raise Me Up.”

The lucky fans got to the girls on stage and also the Circle Night club where they performed Abracadabra & My Style. It’s awesome to see them finally over here and we hope in time they’ll make a worldwide concert!

The song was familiar but I hadn’t heard this version until yesterday when it was chosen to be played as the coffin left the church.

(There was a technical hitch and it didn’t play then, but we listened to it afterwards).

I love the mountains. Nothing compares with the smell of the pine and the beautiful view.

This summer we’re climbing Pikes Peak — me, my husband, our son and his friend.  So, in honor of our climb, here’s and a song to worship the Creator of all mountains with, ”You Raise Me Up”, and a prayer from the Apostle Paul about the mountain of love Christ has for us.  Hope you enjoy the view!

     I put this prayer in first person, substituting the “you’s” for “I’s”, and the “his’s” for “You’s” so you can pray it for yourself….

“I pray that out of Your glorious riches You may strengthen me with power through your Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith. And I pray that I, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that I may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  Now to You who are able to do immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within me, to You be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”  Ephesians 3:16-21

This is a great prayer to pray for the ones you want to have a better view of Christ’s love.

Livet är som en berg och dalbana, det går upp och det går ner. Den som säger att det alltid går uppåt ljuger! Om livet alltid skulle vara enkelt, rakt fram, utan problem, skulle vi aldrig kunna värdesätta de stunder när vi väl har löst ett problem och när vi kan skratta igen! Jag har blivit ordentligt “mörbultad” denna vecka och under en tid, men jag TÄNKER INTE GE MEJ! Jag kan se ljuset i tunneln, jag går mot ljuset…Tänker inte berätta allt vad jag just nu går igenom. Baraför att jag har en blogg, betyder det inte att jag ska “hänga ut mitt privatliv totalt”. Jag har vänner och ovänner, folk som älskar mej men också de som hatar mej. Den Svenska och den internationella avundsjukan gör sig ofta gällande, men jag bryr mej inte! Jag vet vem jag är och vad jag vill i livet! Motgångar ska och kan inte stoppa mej, kanske bromsa lite tillfälligt, men inte mera!

Min starka Gudstro och tron på livet samt min livsvilja gör mej STARK! När vi är som svagast är vi ändå starka, för Gud bär oss då!

Min tro på Jesus och Gud, mina böner betyder allt för mej!

Det finns en sång som jag älskar: “Som en bro över mörka vatten ska jag bära dej”! Och “You raise me up”, med Westlife! “Blott en dag, ett ögonblick i sänder”, den är vacker. Den är så sann! Jag sjöng den på både min mors och Fars begravning! Mina älskade föräldrar som är hemma hos Gud redan, men i mitt hjärta finns en vacker bild och ett minne av mor och far. Det brinner en kärlekslåga där hela tiden för dem! Jag saknar Elma och Eino sååå!

Sanningen ska göra oss fria! Sanningen är att livet går upp och ner, men vi ska inte ge upp, även om det känns så ibland. I den torraste öknen blommar vackra ökenblommor! Vi förgylls och blir vackrare som människor i våra “livs öken”! “Storma du storm, blås du vind, ryt du stora Lejon-Mej skrämmer du inte”!!!! Rädsla kan vi ha, men vi ska inte låta den dominera våra liv! Vi ska ta kontroll över fruktan och över människofruktan! I våra livs berg och dalbanor upplever vi saker som berikar vår personlighet och våra liv.

Bye  bye, ytlighet! Djuphet är bäst! Vissa dagar regnar det, vissa dagar är det mulet, men ett vet jag, solen skall åter skina från en KLARBLÅ HIMMEL!
Tillägnar “You raise me up” till alla er där ute i landet, Länderna. Har fått mycket tröst när jag lyssnat på den. Jag älskar den sången!

The duet ‘You Raise Me Up’ sang by So Nyeo Shi Dae Jessica and Lena Park (Park Jung Hyun) during the Korea Music Festival at Hollywood Bowl on 9th May has become the topic amongst netizens.

After the performance, Park Jung Hyun and Jessica said, “It was fun”, “Really fun and interesting”. This is the first time the 2 sang together.
