Recently, Young Buck has changed his tone towards 50 Cent and G-Unit. Sensing that Buck is trying to get off of G-Unit Records, 50 Cent has began a series of disses aimed at Young Buck. On his latest album, 50 has a song called “So Disrespectful” that features disses towards Buck, Jay-Z, B.G., Game, and Dr. Dre. With all of this going on, Lil Scrappy has decided to bring forth his opinion.

A few years ago, Lil Scrappy was introduced to 50 Cent by Young Buck. There were hopes of Interscope Records allowing Buck to create G-Unit South. That label would have been headed by Young Buck and he was going to sign Lil Scrappy. Once that idea was shot down, Scrappy still stayed around, doing cameos in G-Unit videos. However, once the feud broke out between Young Buck and 50 Cent, he left.

Refusing to take sides, Lil Scrappy returned to Atlanta and signed to Ludacris’ DTP Records. Currently, he is preparing to take the role of flagship artists away from Luda as he plans to do movies and other things. Reminiscing about the old days, Lil Scrappy gave his opinions about the feud between 50 Cent and Young Buck.

He said that the feud between Young Buck and 50 Cent is like that between brothers. Lil Scrappy said that one day their feud will end, but not anytime soon. However, he hopes that a truce will come. Right now, Buck is trying to leave G-Unit to return to Juvenile’s UTP Records and 50 Cent wants a full return on his investment in Young Buck.

Earlier this year, Young Buck tried to end his feud with 50 Cent, but he ended up going right back and dissing him.

How 50 Cent Self Destructed

Hip Hop albums are just not selling like they used to, as is evident by the somewhat disappointing first-week sales of 50 Cent’s latest offering Before I Self Destruct.

Curtis ‘Interscope’ Jackson’s fourth studio album, which was projected to sell only 160,000, hardly exceeded expectations moving just 161,200 units according to Nielsen Soundscan. The figure is somewhat disappointing for 50, especially considering that he predicted first week sales of a million during a 2008 MTV interview. There are a number of excuses materialising within the Hip Hop community, although perhaps it is time to take a rather more indepth, honest and substantiated look into why BISD and other promising projects have failed to reach sales targets.

“G Unit as a group is me, Tony and Banks. On the label we got Young Buck and Game. They (Interscope) give me a million dollars for every album not put my logo on Game’s album. So I’m waiting on that check or I’ll put my logo on his forehead.”

Well Buck, I hope he can make a song that can make him relevant and he can make some money. I’ll put the record out but I’m $250 (thousand) in the hole on him. Like personally, he can give me back my $250 (thousand) before we even get to the other stuff…like parting ways.”

The G-Unit General checked in with New York radio station Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex yesterday and addressed a few issues in regards to the low album sales of Before I Self Destruct to his situations with Game, Young Buck and Kanye West. Fif also weighed in on Fat Joe’s disgruntlements with Jay-Z, as well as, The Beans and Jay riff.

With the album hitting store shelves this week, 50 stopped by The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien Wednesday (Nov 18th) for an interview and to perform his smash hit single “Baby By Me” off his new album “Before I Self Destruct”.I went aghast when he talked about his new fragance ” Power by 50″ best single encapsulated by “The Smell of Success” ! Meanwhile , Conan help him out to sell his 37 Ba Megamansion in Connecticut and do some little branding..

By 2007, it was clear that things were not right between Young Buck and 50 Cent. In 2008, 50 kicked him out of G-Unit. It was then evident that something was wrong. After 50 Cent made the announcement, Young Buck sought his release from G-Unit Records.

Taking advice from former G-Unit rapper, Game, Young Buck decided that the best way to leave the label was for him to publicize his feud with 50 Cent. Much wiser than he was in the past, 50 did not fall for Buck’s tricks. Instead, he held him into his contract with the label.

Once Young Buck realized that a feud with G-Unit was not the answer, he decided to play nice. This summer, Young Buck admitted that he was wrong for going at 50 Cent the way that he did. After that, Young Buck issued an apology to G-Unit Records.

Through all of that, 50 Cent did not budge. He went out and dissed Young Buck, along with Game and Jay-Z on “So Disrespectful.” After the diss, 50 said that all Buck has to do is record a hot album and turn it in to him. If the album makes 50’s money back, he will let Young Buck go.

In 2008, Young Buck had been working on a new album. His feud with 50 Cent caused Buck to stop recording the album. Recently, Buck reunited with Juvenile and UTP. They may help him record his next album, which G-Unit will release sometime in 2010.

Last spring, the expected happened when Young Buck was kicked out of G-Unit by 50 Cent. Determined not to lose Buck the same way that he lost Game, 50 refused to let him out of his contract with G-Unit Records. Still, Young Buck has wanted off of the label for some time now.

Initially, Young Buck decided that he should send diss records towards 50 Cent and the remaining members of G-Unit. Realizing that 50 would not fall for that, Buck began playing nice. He began 2009 dissing 50 Cent and G-Unit, but recently apologized to the people that made him a star.

Last month, Young Buck expressed interest in leaving G-Unit Records in favor of Juvenile’s UTP Records. UTP was where Buck was signed before he met 50 Cent. Not long after he revealed his interest in reuniting with Juvenile, 50 leaked “So Disrespectful,” a song that disses Young Buck, Jay-Z, Game, and B.G.

Then, just yesterday, 50 Cent gave an updated status on his G-Unit Records. He revealed that Mobb Deep was no longer on the label. With that news, 50 decided to come with a shocker. He said that Game and Young Buck were indeed signed to the label. While Game may not really be still signed to G-Unit, Young Buck is.

Aside from 50 Cent, Buck is the only artist on G-Unit Records that is still signed to Interscope Records. To some, it is becoming clear that 50 Cent is going to leave Interscope Records after he officially releases Before I Self Destruct. That has to be the case because Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo are no longer signed to Interscope, nor are only other G-Unit artists.

50 Cent seems ready to cut ties with Interscope and he has hinted at leaving the label, in the past for Def Jam or Warner Bros. It is more than obvious that Young Buck wants off of G-Unit, so 50 Cent may grant him his wish. 50 recently stated that all Buck needs to do is get hot, release another album, turn it in to him, then sell a lot of records to pay him back. After that, Young Buck is free to leave G-Unit Records.

Basically, all that 50 Cent wants is a profit returned from his initial investment in Young Buck. Currently, there is no album in the works from Young Buck.

Young Buck was the first big-name rapper I ever got to interview. He was as nice as could be. He said he could tell that I was a “dope-ass writer” and even called me a “cool-ass n****a” and I’m not even black–what generous dude! When 50 Cent released that clip of him crying and begging to be let back into the G-Unit crew, I felt kind of bad for him, so it’s good to see Buck back.
