I feel another Cash Money Takeover coming about! I remember going to my first Cash Money Concert. They where touring with the Ruff Ryders when they all where hot. I remember seeing Lil Wayne, Birdman, BG, Juvi, and everybody else under that label at the time. I caught my first contact at the MCI Center when i was about 14 or 15. That brings me to fond memories of Roff Ryders. I miss Eve, and DMX Pre all the craziness, and Swizz Beats.

I hope that this group does it big like they use to in the day.  The CD drops on Dec 22nd. It includes their single Bed Rock…Which i’m excited about. I think The Female Hip Hop movement is lacking the animation that Nicki Brings to the table.

“it seems love don’t live here no more.” that’s pretty much how things went with the person. time to move on and do me. i told yall i’d let you know what happened, i didn’t forget. i also got my nail polishes from diamond cosmetics. i’m pretty happy with the results but for some reason i’ve lost the semi-skill i had in painting my nails and they now look as if my 11 year old niece did them. SMH. i’ll post up pics … one day. my thanksgiving was pretty … regular. nothing spectacular since my parents decided to stay an extra week in florida. bastards. all i wanted was some of my mom’s pumpkin pie. she could have made it before she left. ::kanye shrug::

i kinda really don’t have anything to write about, but i didn’t want to lose the 3 fans i had, so i figured i’d post something up. please bare as this post will be so random; like you’ve never seen before.

did anyone see the released Young Money album cover? What is wrong with this photo? Is Lil’ Wayne representing Jesus? let’s discuss. i really don’t know why they have that young dude in the group. he’s so unimportant that i’m not going to even research his name. all i know is, what’s the point of having someone who can’t even drink let alone get in the clubs LET ALONE stay out late to do any interviews? ladies, does he make your panties wet? if he’s not doing this at least, then please, dress him up in a dollar sign costume and he can become Young Money’s official Mascot.

I like this cover what’s makes it even better Lil’ Wayne just put his artist on the cover and put an old picture of him on top of them letting them shine instead  of being in the picture with them I love it he’s showing his confidence in his artist knowing that he does not have to be on the cover for the cd to sell. Super producer turned movie producer QD3’s documentary following the life and times of Lil Wayne has shot up to the top spot on ITunes.  Noted for his “Beef” DVD series, QD3 and his camera crew followed Wayne on the road for nearly a year. The ending result was a film that received rave reviews and praise at the Sundance Film Festival. Following its Sundance debut, the film was released to the public on November 17 and has since rushed to the top spot. The trail to the top did not come without controversy however, before its national release QD3 found himself the target of a lawsuit claiming that the production showed too much of Wayne’s illicit drug use casting him in a negative light.

As previously reported QD3 told HipHopWired that the documentary’s objective was not to show  the Young Money President negatively but to show him as a true artist and workaholic.

The main thing that the documentary shows… I think a lot of people would imagine that Wayne is hanging out in clubs with a bunch of women and drinking champagne and that sort of thing. But I would say the main thing you learn when you watch the film is that Wayne is a workaholic. Straight up. After seeing this I think a lot of people will respect his process a lot more. We were with him like 7 or 8 months before he went platinum and then maybe two months after. That’s the period we were shooting him for and I remember one day when he got a text from Sylvia Rhone that he went platinum, he was like, “O.K.” He didn’t even flinch. He was “O.K., cool” and “get off my bus, I gotta record.”

^Community Channel: I hate random YouTube-ing, but one day while scouring through the newest music videos, I came across a video with a young Asian woman as the still, with the caption “no, YOU’RE SO PRETTY” — anyone who knows me can probably visualize the trap I was then caught in.  I watched it, and the video was hilarious. The young woman’s name turned out to be Natalie, she’s Australian, and her sense of humor is a top notch blend of non-chalant and “Ohhh yeahhh, that does happen!” Trust me, after watching a couple, you’ll be subscribing, too.

Random conversation last night with the homie, Jumz (Hats Hoodies Kicks). We were listening to some of the new Young Money tracks, and one of Gudda Gudda’s verses struck some interesting thoughts… We were thinking of how Lil’ Wayne has progressed over his career. From Cash Money Records and his well known “anthem” (I guess you could call it an anthem for some) “Bling Bling”, to Young Money (still part of Cash Money) and his classic “The Carter I, II, III” albums. Who woulda  thunk that that kid would become the superstar he is today?

But back to what I was saying… the stuff Young Money is putting out these days could be seen as today’s equivalent to what Cash Money was putting out back in the day (I guess you could call it back in the day?). Maybe one of these Young Money artists will take a similar path of progression that Weezy took, and someday be a rap “superstar” (in quotations for a reason). Maybe it could be Gudda Gudda… maybe his version of the Carter albums will be quite similar… “The Gudda”, “The Gudda Gudda”, and “The Gudda Gudda Gudda” lol. It was that part that really made us laugh, but I thought I’d actually try and spark some thoughts out of my random post. But anyways, all I’m saying is that, it could happen… lol.

Lil Wayne tried to prevent the November 17th release of the documentary, The Carter.  In court, the rapper known as Lil Wayne and his management argued in a Los Angeles Superior court,  that the documentary could potentially ruin his reputation and also that he was supposed to give the ok on the final product.  This was later rejected. Directed by Adam Bhala Lough and Quincy Jones III-run distributor of  QD3 Entertainment, gives a depiction of ”Weezy” as the pot-smoking, syrup drinking, entertainer.   While not the least bit inaccurate, Lil Wayne has been nominated for 11 (won four) BET Awards, 26 (won nine)BET Hip Hop Awards, and 10( won 4) Grammy Awards.  Wayne’ is definitely one of the hottest, baddest, dopest, MC’s in the game.

As the release date for Lil Wayne’s Rebirth rock debut draws nearer, new details are emerging on the upcoming project. As previously reported, the album was slated for a December 15 release but was pushed back to the 22. Additionally, Gudda Gudda confirmed an upcoming Young Money/Cash Money tour in time to promote both Wayne’s Rebirth and his YM’s family, We Are Young Money album.

Now, just a few short weeks before both albums hit stores and their tour takes off, the tracklisiting for Weezy’s latest lyrical LP has hit the net.

While the features have not been tagged to the project as of yet, the 12 song tracklisting and cover are available below.

A full features list for the project, which will reportedly showcase several rock artists alongside Wayne, is yet to be disclosed. It has, however, reportedly been confirmed that artists like Drake, Lenny Kravitz, Travis Barker and Fall Out Boy. Interestingly, Weezy will also apparently play guitar on a number of the tracks.

The reported tracklisting for Rebirth is as follows:
