<p>Vroiam sa te intreb daca exista un follow-up la un an sau doi pentru o evaluare a progresului. Din prorie experienta si nu numai, am vazut ca dupa un program de coaching se vede o reala imbunatatire dar din pacate e una de moment. Trebuie sa-ti intre in sange, sa devina un automatism&#8230;altfel cu timpul se pierde in multitudinea problemelor zilnice.</p>

<p>Multumesc de apreciere. Raspunsul meu la intrebarea ta este &#8220;da, eu fac follow-up, formal sau informal, dupa ceva vreme de la terminarea contractului&#8221;. Insa aici intervin mai multi factori, care pot schimba un pic acest raspuns.<br />
Asa ca iti scriu aici toate raspunsurile care imi trec prin minte, ref. la &#8220;imbunatatirea de moment&#8221; (am impresia ca intrebarea ta se refera la &#8220;cum prelungim imbunatatirea&#8221; mai degraba decat la existenta sau absenta unei continuari a coaching-ului). So:</p>
<p>1. Succesul pe termen lung al executive coaching-ului inseamna, practic, o schimbare vizibila/masurabila in modul in care oamenii fac lucrurile sa mearga intr-o companie si in relatiile dintre ei. Adica a &#8220;culturii de companie&#8221;. Daca programul de coaching nu si-a propus asta, indiferent de rezultatele obtinute la nivel individual (chiar si cu CEO-ul sau membri din board), riscul resorbtiei este foarte mare. Adica daca 25 de manageri au primit coaching individual, nu te astepta ca acestia sa pastreze ceva mai mult decat amintiri placute despre coaching, dupa 1-2 ani de la terminarea programului.</p>
<p>2. Ref. la coach, din acelasi unghi: are el/ea suficienta experienta cat sa isi asume un proiect care presupune modificari majore de comportament? Stie sa faca asta? A mai facut asta? Daca a facut-o si are si dovezi (recomandari, o adresa de mail, un telefon, ceva), suna si intreaba.</p>
<p>3. Ref. la contractul de coaching: prevede intelegerea initiala un orizont de schimbare? Are &#8220;termen de garantie&#8221;? <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  Ne mai intalnim intr-o luna, in 3 luni, in 6, sa vedem ce a mai aparut? Multi consultanti nu aduc lucrul asta in discutie si aici e o mica-mare capcana&#8230; punctul 4. <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>4. Ca si majoritatea trainerilor, majoritatea coachilor marsheaza pe efortul depus IN TIMPUL INTERVENTIEI. Adica nu deleaga schimbarea de obiceiuri si de relatii catre organizatie. Multi nici macar nu se gandesc la asta, desi coaching-ul are ca beneficiu principal, culmea, dezvoltarea autonomiei in client. Deci, exista structuri care sa continue, din interior, munca coachului? Daca nu exista, daca nu s-au stabilit moduri practice de sustinere a transformarilor culturale, atunci schimbarea este una de moment.</p>
<p>5. Nu ma pot abtine si te intreb, totusi: multele probleme zilnice, care invalideaza schimbarea catre mai bine au fost subiectul contractului de coaching? Eu unul stiu ca o schimbare la nivel de perceptie a problemelor si a rezolvarilor aduce cu sine &#8220;topirea&#8221; lor. Si aparitia altora, mai provocatoare, mai &#8220;mari&#8221;, mai&#8230;</p>
<p>6. Eu folosesc o abordare sistemica, adica ma uit mai putin la oameni si mai mult la relatiile dintre ei, la procesele si sistemele in care sunt angrenati. De multe ori am refuzat contracte individuale de coaching, sponsorizate de HR, din simplul motiv ca nu faceam decat sa ne ascundem, elegant si corporatist, dupa ciresul atat de cunoscut al setarii improprii de sisteme de management. De ex., am avut un client SUPERB, CFO intr-una dintre multinationalele de aici. Femeie apriga, eleganta, cinstita, extrem de inteligenta, cu o echipa aleasa &#8220;pe spranceana&#8221;. Care muncea in medie 12 ore pe zi. Si care, din cauza acestor calitati, era indispensabila pentru Bucuresti (local HQ), Viena (CEE HQ), Madrid (European HQ) si New York (mama tuturor HQ-urilor). Daca fiecare din superiorii din matricea de finance ii cereau 1 raport pe saptamana, aceasta extraordinara profesionista claca. I think you know what I mean&#8230;</p>

<p>Da, ai dreptate, intrebarea se referea de fapt cum mentinem imbunatatirea. Imi place ideea de imbunatatire masurabila si accentul pus pe relatiile intre angajati. Si in opinia mea ele reprezinta cheia succesului. Am nevoie insa de un expert sa ma lamureasca daca modalitatea prin care le vad eu aplicate este cea corecta. Adica in spatele imbunatatirii ar trebui sa existe un procedeu de lucru (proces recurent) care sa aplice cele invatate in timpul coaching-ului si care sa le mentina in viata la inceput din “oligativitatea” alinierii la procesul stabilit si in timp sa devina un automatism. Si bineinteles masurabil. Cred ca este foarte important sa ai un raspuns rapid si sigur la intrebarea “cat de aproape / departe sunt de obiectivul propus?”.</p>
<p>Citind intregul tau raspuns mi-am dat seama ca trebuie sa-ti descriu intreaga situatie cu care ma confrunt si poate “rup” de la tine cateva sfaturi.</p>
<p>In multinationala in care lucrez eu, si probabil in multe altele, procesul de globalizare a ridicat la suprafata o serie de probleme, multe din ele tehnice dar cea mai greu de corectat este alinierea fabricilor din toate continentele la aceeasi “cultura de companie”. Un exemplu clar este una din fabricile noastre din S. unde pe langa lipsa de procese / proceduri etc este o nevoie acuta de coaching. In urma cu doua luni am fost acolo sa-mi fac o idee despre echipa, procese si cum functioneaza ea iar concluzia nu este tocmai imbucuratoare. In orice caz, fabrica are un mare potential de revenue si top management-ul pistoneaza idea de a planifica o noua vizita 2 in 1 daca pot spune asa. Ar trebui sa lucrez cu ei pe doua directii: consultanta si coaching.</p>
<p>Din cunostintele mele, noi (compania) nu am apelat pana acum la un coaching extern ci ne bazam mai mult pe resursele interne pe care le avem. Este usor ciudat pentru o companie asa de mare dar cumva ofera o siguranta mai mare top management-ului. Eu nu sunt de profil, doar ca am mai avut activitati de acest gen ‘’2 in 1’’ si cu alte fabrici dar la o scala mai mica si intr-o conjunctura un pic mai favorabila (dar cu rezultate imbucuratoare).</p>
<p>In cazul de fata insa ar trebui sa incep de la 0 cu o intreaga organizatie si ma tot gandeam care ar fie pasii cei mai importanti pe care nu trebuie sa-i ratez, macar in linii mari. Si care este parerea ta with regards to coaching intern? Care ar fi consecintele unui poor coaching? Daca ai si ceva literatura de specialitate pe care mi-o poti recomanda raman profund recunoscatoare.</p>
<p>Dupa cum vezi, situatia pe care o descriu eu este un fel de mix consultanta&#38;coaching careia ar trebui sa-i fac fata cu succes</p>

<p>Astazi sunt &#8220;prins&#8221; intr-un team coaching workshop, asa ca iti voi scrie peste weekend un raspuns mai &#8230;agregat. De pe acum te felicit pentru proiect si iti marturisesc ca un challenge de genul asta mi se pare o implinire profesionala pentru oricine. <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Literatura care sa te ajute nu stiu, cam tot ce e scris despre coaching e destul de &#8220;marketing oriented&#8221;. Si mai e ceva: coaching-ul se invata experiential, printr-o continua slefuire a abilitatilor interpersonale si de management practic.</p>
<p>Ceea ce mi se pare fundamental in etapa in care cred ca esti pe acest proiect este sa co-generezi un &#8220;contract&#8221; foarte clar cu end-users si third parties. Adica sa setezi un minim de procese si proceduri, impreuna cu cei implicati, care sa aiba pentru toata lumea un outcome &#8230;S.M.A.R.T. Asta ca actiune directa.</p>
<p>Indirect, cred ca ar fi bine sa studiezi un pic modul in care se propaga schimbarea la nivelul culturii din S. (era sa scriu &#8220;locale&#8221;, dar stiu ca e ceva mai special). Poate ar fi bine sa te uiti in presa locala de business, sa faci o mini-cercetare despre industrie&#8230; nu stiu. Ideea e sa plonjezi un pic in &#8220;local culture&#8221;, chiar daca e vorba de un climat corporatist.</p>
<p>Revin cu alte cateva optiuni.</p>

Nu vreau sa te retin, doar doua cuvinte:<br />
1) ‘’Esti sau nu pregatit pentru provocare?’’ are o compozitie interesanta si incitanta! Nu cred ca s-au oprit multi dupa primele doua paragrafe&#8230;de fapt cred ca asta a fost si trategia; in orice caz este perfect revigorant si parca te pune gata pe actiune iar finalul e perfect;<br />
2) “Primele 100 de zile ca manager” este geniala idea de training pe aceasta tema si extrem de folositoare; imi aduc aminte cu amuzament acum de primele mele zile, cand de astazi pe maine m-am procopsit cu 13 oameni de condus <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  ; desi a fost un successful story si una din cele mai frumoase perioade din cariera, trebuie sa recunosc ca la inceput am tanjit dupa asa un training; am sa-l trimit ca recomandare catre HR;</p>

<p>Revenind, sunt cateva alte optiuni disponibile pentru proiectul tau din S. &#8230;</p>
<p>1. la nivel de consultanta:<br />
- sa facilitezi cateva sedinte de goal-setting (3-4) cu toti cei implicati in proces. outcome-ul este sa vezi cine detine puterea in acel grup si cine se opune schimbarii. deci, in nici un caz o singura interventie.</p>
<p>- sa generezi un fel de &#8220;task-force&#8221; local (metodele sunt variate) care sa aiba un program sustinut de implementare a schimbarilor, inca de la inceput. din experienta mea, in fabrici &#38; uzine se vede orice schimbare, oricat de mica ar fi.</p>
<p>- sa faci mici &#8220;deraieri&#8221; de la fazele clasice, deja anuntate (analiza, interviuri, etc) si sa confrunti direct pe cei pe care ii simti mai rezistenti</p>
<p>2. la nivel de coaching:<br />
- sa le propui cate un meeting pe saptamana, odata ce definesti impreuna cu liderii locali un contract care vizeaza exclusiv agenda lor de dezvoltare. daca faci coaching pe agenda ta de obiective &#8230;pur si simplu nu e coaching. <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>- sa stai si sa reflectezi 2-3 ore, cu pixul si hartia aproape, la ce lucruri ti se par cele mai departe de rezultatele pe care le doresti. apoi sa iei hartiuta si sa iti scrii minim 3 optiuni pe care le ai tu ca si resursa (&#8220;cum i-as putea ajuta&#8221;)</p>
<p>- positive reinforcement. suna slab si cam din carti, insa din experienta mea ajuta de fiecare data. limbaj pozitiv, non-directiv, da-le celor interesati cat mai multe informatii posibil. astfel acoperi gap-ul de competente si, posibil, cel cultural.</p>
<p>Cam astea sunt ideile mele. Bine-inteles, nu am suficiente informatii specifice ca sa putem merge mai in detaliu cu generarea de optiuni. Ar mai fi ceva, legat de cultura locala de pe acolo:</p>
<p>3. tot timpul sa arati ca ai incredere ca faci bine ceea ce faci. nu ezita nici o secunda!</p>

Mi-am focusat prima vizita in S. mai mult pe:<br />
- open discusions cu leadershipul dar mai ales cu membrii fiecarui departament ( si uneori 2 /3 departamente impreuna) pentru a intelege procesele actuale si modalitatea lor de operare. In mare cine / ce / cum / cand face.<br />
- apoi le-am descris (in linii mari si mai mult ca la televizor) care este procesul din Europa / America, la care va trebui sa ajungem si mai ales care sunt avantajele acestei alinieri (show me the money)<br />
- la finalul discustiilor mi-am lasat o zi de comparatii intre procesul dorit si procesul actual, am studiat diferentele si am stabilit impreuna care este planul de actiune (cu owner si due date)<br />
Planul de actiuni includea adaugarea unor noi pozitii care aveau sa fie ocupate de oameni din exterior. Mentionez ca una situatie care creaza probleme in S. este ca un numar mare de angajati nu vorbesc engleza sau alta limba straina si sunt de un nivel mediocru ( oameni care nici nu stiu sa deschida un excel ce sa mai spun de “strunit” un client). O parte din ei trebuiau relocati pe posturi cu mai putina responsabilitate, de nivelul lor, o parte au fost concediati (din pacate) iar pozitiile ramase vacante sunt cheie pentru o functionare efecienta a departamentului.</p>
<p>Capitolul angajari este cel care a esuat si de aici pleaca multe. Am avut cateva discutii cu HR-ul local si chiar cu cel global saptamana asta, pentru a intelege cauza radacina si sper ca o putem corecta. Cred ca fost un mix intre bonusul salarial si o explicare corecta a job description-ului. Este imposibil ca intr-un oras cum e S. sa nu gasesti oameni buni. Ma intereseaza mult young potential tallents, un fel de tabula rasa pe care sa-i putem modela cu usurinta.</p>
<p>In fine, desi planul era stabilit, fie el si in linii mari am clacat in a forma echipa, practic elementul de baza.</p>
<p>Aici ar fi multe de spus si este de altfel ceea ce ma ingrijoreaza cel mai mult, dar nu vreu sa-ti scriu sute de pagini.</p>
<p>Coaching<br />
- intr-adevar agenda de dezvoltare a leadershipului e cea mai importanta. Mai ales ca ei trebuie la randul lor sa ghideze o echipa noua intr-un mediu de lucru nou. Este element cheie si trebuie gandit bine.<br />
- imi place idea cu pixul si hartia; e destul de grea dar imi place provocarea;<br />
- pozitive reinforcement, absolut! Am un mic comentariu aici: cand eram mai tanara si lucram la celelate proiecte asemanatoare de care iti povesteam, era mult mai usor /natural sa aplic un limbal non –directiv. Avea un efect miraculos si atunci nu cred ca intelegeam de ce&#8230;. acum cand inteleg avantajul este usor mai dificil sa-l aplic ; de fapt cunoasterea metodei a daramat naturaletea ei…. <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Uneori ma intreb care sunt granitele intre coaching si consultanta si daca ele trebuie facute separat?<br />
In ceea ce priveste increderea, nu duc lipsa <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  M-a salvat din multe situatii !</p>

<p>Superstudio presenta il “Temporary Museum For New Design”, con art direction di Giulio Cappellini e supervisione di Giulia Borioli. Il concept alla base della manifestazione è: ‘meno fiera, più museo’. E infatti al fine di assicurare una manifestazione di alto interesse, la presenza delle aziende, dei prodotti e i layout espositivi sono selezionati in base alla qualità dei progetti, al valore dei brand e alla ricerca innovativa dei designer.<br />
I classici stand fieristici lasciano il passo a una serie di &#8220;mostre&#8221; site specific firmate dai più grandi e interessanti designer.<br />
Temporary Museum For New Design ha puntato tutto sull’eccellenza, l’emozione, la ricerca, la cultura del progetto creando un vero “museo” seppur temporaneo, delle nuove idee. Superstudio, con i suoi 13.000 mq a disposizione della Design Week nelle sue due sedi di via Tortona e via Forcella, è di fatto la presenza espositiva più grande e significativa dell’intera area.<br />
Il &#8220;Temporary Museum for New Design&#8221; di Superstudio si svilupperà proprio nelle due storiche sedi vicine, collegate da navetta.<br />
Saranno due le tematiche affrontate: &#8220;International Panorama&#8221; e &#8220;Italians: new perspectives&#8221;.</p>
<p>&#8220;International Panorama&#8221; (con la sezione &#8220;Discovering / Other worlds, other ideas&#8221; nel Basement riservata a designer e paesi emergenti) sarà il tema sviluppato al Superstudio Più di Via Tortona 27, dove vasti spazi chiusi sono stati trasformati in tante galleries del design.</p>
<p>&#8220;Italians: new perspectives&#8221;, dedicata alle proposte del nuovo Made in Italy, sarà il tema affrontato al Superstudio 13 di via Forcella 13/via Bugatti 9, dove gli studios fotografici saranno composti e modulati in tante installazioni emozionali.</p>
<p>Fra le aziende che parteciperanno a &#8220;International Panorama&#8221; presso Superstudio Più di Via Tortona 27, menzioniamo:</p>
<p>- Adidas Originals, con un’installazione di Felice Limosani basata su magneti e videoproiezioni, che affronta il concetto della fluidità dell’abbigliamento sportivo;<br />
- Foscarini presenta un vero e proprio caleidoscopio gigante con giochi di luce, a cura di Vicente Garcìa Jiménez;<br />
- Philips Lighting  partecipa con un’installazione interattiva dove la luce è la protagonista principale;<br />
- Alcantara sotto la direzione artistica di Giulio Cappellini, propone 8 modi ideati da 8 diversi designer per l’interpretazione del pregiato materiale;<br />
- Tom Dixon crea alcuni atelier dove verrà messo in mostra il processo di creazione dei prodotti;<br />
- Brand Van Egmond, propone una collezione che collega fortemente i settori arte e design, con alcuni  lampadari-scultura che vengono proposti dall’architetto William Brand e dalla scultrice Annet van Egmond;<br />
- Tivoli Audio presenta l’installazione “Torre di Babele”, ideata da Ilaria Marelli  le radio che compongono la Torre sono in apparenza ‘vintage’ ma in realtà tecnologicamente all’avanguardia;<br />
- Posta negli spazi esterni di Superstudio Più, “Senza Confini” è il nome dell’esposizione che affronta il tema “Design Sostenibile”, per mezzo di una casa prefabbricata a cura di Angelo Micheli e Michele De Lucchi;<br />
- David Trubridge espone installazioni luminose realizzate in bambù, ispirate alle popolazioni Maori;</p>
<p>Nel Basement del Superstudio più nella sezione denominata ‘Discovering &#8211; Other worlds, other ideas’ si è voluto dare molto spazio al Design dei giovani emergenti. Si segnala inoltre presenza dell’esposizione ‘Young Talents’ che racchiude una selezione di astri nascenti di design provenienti da tutto il mondo, presentata da Elle Decor International.</p>
<p>Nella sezione dedicata al Made in Italy, di Superstudio 13 di via Forcella, parteciperanno fra gli altri: </p>
<p>- Costa Crociere con una mostra che espone le opere che alcuni artisti hanno realizzato per le nuove navi del Gruppo;<br />
- Spa Design by my Exhibition, presenta quattro differenti concept ideate per altrettante aree wellness </p>
<p>Il tema del Design Sostenibile viene ripreso anche a &#8220;Italians: new perspectives&#8221; dove Aldo Cibic presenta un nuovo modo di abitare &#8211; modulare, personalizzabile ed ecocompatibile &#8211; trasformando il parking di Superstudio 13 in un giardino.</p>
<p>Al Superstudio Più la Maison Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin presenta la mostra “Veuve Clicquot Out of the Box” con una nuova collezione di opere di Tom Dixon, 5.5 Designers e Front Design.<br />
In entrambe le vicine location, l’organizzazione è impeccabile, si avverte subito la grande attenzione prestata alle presentazioni, l’impatto museale, le segnaletiche e la grafica omogenee e esclusive, le v.i.p./very important professional aree, gli spazi culturali, il Bookstore Skira, bar e ristoranti per tutte le esigenze (Elle Décor Restaurant, Dada Café, Superstudio Café e La Cucina dell’Orto), Garden Lounge, deposito e guardaroba custodito, area press attrezzata riservata ai giornalisti. Navetta e courtesy car a disposizione.<br />
Tutti i giorni lo spazio Openspace ospita “Around 30”, brevi incontri di 30 minuti per conoscere la nuova generazione di trentenni che sta cambiando la faccia del design internazionale così come è accaduto nella moda. Gli incontri saranno trasmessi in televisione via satellitare e internet e in tempo reale negli schermi al plasma sparsi per l’intero quartiere espositivo.</p>

<p>Time to design – new talent award is a design award with focus on the needs of young talents. The price includes three months residency at the National Workshops for Arts and Crafts, 50.000 DKK donated by The Danish Ministry of Culture and two weeks exhibition at the Normann Copenhagen Flagship Store. This year the winner is also granted career coaching as part of the award.</p>

<p>UNIQUE PLATFORM FOR GROWING TALENTS</p>
<p>Time to design – new talent award was established in 2008 as a new and untraditional co-operation between The National Workshops for Arts and Crafts (SVKH), Normann Copenhagen og Link UP – network for young architects and designers in Denmark. The purpose is to create a unique platform for design talents within the design business through a co-operation between the private and public sector – a platform that contributes to ones further professional career.</p>
<p>The combination of the residency at SVKH and the exhibition in Normann Copenhagen provides great opportunity for the winning designer. Competent guidance and access to the highly acknowledged facilities offered by SVKH forms the foundation for the designer to concentrate on his or hers work. The exhibition in Normann Copenhagen provides an excellent opportunity to show ones work and talent to the public.</p>

<p>The guest jury members 2009 consists of three competent Danish designers: Mathilde Aggebo, Dorte Østergaard Jakobsen and Thomas Bentzen besides the permanent members: Poul Madsen, director and co-founder of Normann Copenhagen, Frederik Hardvendel, director of The National Workshops for Arts and Crafts and Jesper Nørgaard Pagh, designer and co-founder of Link UP.</p>
<p>Winner in 2008 was architect Anne Romme with her sculptural screen and room divider, Saturated Porosity – freestanding screen. Through ornaments made in wood Anne Romme created a sensuous and sculptural screen and room divider. The project is based on geometry and digital design and production methods and was on display at the Normann Copenhagen Flagship Store from November 27 to December 11, 2008.</p>
<p>In relation to winning the award Anne explains: ”It has been a huge experience and great knowledge for me to receive this award. Normally I work with different projects at one time but it has meant a lot to have the time and space to concentrate being at The National Workshops for Arts and Crafts. To be in an environment where you are surrounded by persons who are enthusiastic and at the same time receiving advice and guidance from qualified consultants – this has been indispensable.”</p>
<p>The winner will be announced end of August at a press conference. Here after the residency at The National Workshops for Arts and Crafts will begin. The exhibition at the Normann Copenhagen Flagship</p>
<p>Store runs from November 26 to December 10, 2009.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong></strong>O trabalho já foi alvo de outro post anterior, e agora que o CD está oficialmente finalizado, nada mais justo que apresentarmos essa nova etapa em nosso <em>blog</em>.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Foram 4 meses de trabalho entre pré-produção, captação, mixagem, pré-masterização, e preparação do material gráfico de pós-produção. O CD envolveu alunos da <strong>Escola Americana de Campinas</strong>, pais, e os produtores do <strong>Estúdio Trilha Sonora</strong>, <strong>Alexandre Moraes</strong> e <strong>André Carreiro</strong>. Ainda contamos com <strong>Hélio Cunha</strong> e <strong>Denis Talasso</strong> como músicos adicionais.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Todo o processo foi realizado dentro do estúdio e os alunos selecionados foram <strong>Marcella de Vuono</strong>, <strong>Alexandra </strong>e <strong>Rafaella Ruette</strong>, <strong>Sylvia Figueras</strong>, <strong>Sofia Reynoso</strong>, <strong>Lola Barbano</strong> e <strong>Julia Leibovitz</strong>. Elas optaram por composições de <em>Hannah Montana</em>, <em>High School Musical</em>, <em>Atomic Kitten</em>, dentre outros intérpretes do <em>pop</em> internacional. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Well, this is quite the Osar-category i know, but it&#8217;s just a way for me to talk about 10 artists that i like, but just don&#8217;t seem to fit in the top 50-list that is coming up after this post. (well, not immediately after it, somewhere this week). The albums of these people have their flaws, but they are promising enough to make me look forward excitedly to when they release their next album. So, without no further ado, here they are.</p>
<p><em>DISCLAIMER: ok, first add this. The songs I add aren&#8217;t necessarily my favourite of the record, because i&#8217;m planning to keep those mp3&#8217;s for a big 50 best songs at the end of all these lists. So you&#8217;ll get twice the goodies!</em></p>

<p><strong>what?</strong> Crazy Japanese guy makes antifolk songs</p>
<p>I wrote something about this crazy Japanese American <a href="http://aninsideoutsock.wordpress.com/2008/09/07/im-really-big-friends-with-bigbird-pwrfl-power/" target="_blank">here</a>, so i&#8217;m not gonna keep on blabbing about it. He&#8217;s Japanese, naïve, and has released 2 albums this year. His full album &#8211; also named PWRFL Power  - was a bit too long and tends to get boring, but the small EP was just the right size. From one of the coolest small Indielabels in town, Catbird Records. Too bad it&#8217;s sold out!</p>

<p><strong>What? </strong>An early acoustic Bright Eyes without the emo-stuff</p>
<p>Everytime I hear this guy, it makes me think of the first time I heard Bright Eyes. The year was 1999 (or maybe not, i really don&#8217;t remember), and Conor Oberst still made homerecordings. The only difference he sometimes had the urge to start screaming instead of singing (what i really liked as a teenager), whereas Liam The Younger just keeps on singing in his own voice. You need to be in the mood for this though, cause it can get quite monotonous if you&#8217;re looking for exciting music. But on quiet nights, when you&#8217;re looking for something acoustic that resembles Mt. Eerie, Bright Eyes and other indiestuff (i know that this is really really very broad), you can always listen Liam The Younger. Oh I forgot to mention the cool part: you can download the entire album for free <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mwt2lvxkwzj" target="_blank">here</a>. <p>What? Sunny Californian Lo-fi Noise</p>
<p>2008 was the year of the return of the Noise pop. Bands like No Age, Times New Viking and many more were suddenly considered cool by Pitchfork and others. And franktly, i like them too. The time when people passed tapes around i missed by just an inch (let&#8217;s say 10 years), but it seems all to be coming back. I made noise once too (you can listen to the result <a href="http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/8/23/2061966/I%20love%20the%20colour%20of%20your%20eyes%2C%20you%20city%20bike.mp3" target="_blank">here</a>), but Wavves is much better. This release is only available on cassette until now, but it well get re-released on LP by <a href="http://www.fuckittapes.com/fuckittapes.htm" target="_blank">Fuck it Tapes</a>. And his next album will be on De Stijl which isn&#8217;t a very small label. I&#8217;m really looking forward to that!</p>

<p><strong>What?</strong> Indie folk, very reminiscent of The Decemberists</p>
<p>Is it a crime to sound like a big well-known indie-singer? Especially if that guy&#8217;s voice is quite recognizable. I guess the guys from Jayber Crow don&#8217;t do it on purpose, but everytime i hear their album, it&#8217;s like hearing an early tape of Colin Meloy from Decemberists-fame. The only difference that Jayber Crow is less pompous, more direct. I must admit not all songs appeal to me, but the ones that do, do it really good. <p><strong>What? </strong>Singalong Folk, moldy peaches reference in their own bio isn&#8217;t entirely accurate, but accurate enough</p>
<p>Another band i&#8217;ve blogged about <a href="http://aninsideoutsock.wordpress.com/2008/10/06/we-all-dance-and-singalong-the-wind-whistles/" target="_blank">in the past.</a> And another album that you can download <a href="http://aaahh-records.net/the-wind-whistles-window-sills/" target="_blank">entirely for free</a>. It&#8217;s amazing how many great albums get released for free every year. Radiohead isn&#8217;t the only one. You should try this, cause this music makes you feel happy. I had a rough day at work today, I put on my Mp3-player and found myself singing along out loud (not based on a true story, but it&#8217;s just for the dramatic effect). Really enjoyable music.</p>

<p><strong>What?</strong> It&#8217;s rock-&#8217;n-roll!</p>
<p>Michael Rault is retro. So retro that his albums sounds as if it&#8217;s been recorded during the late fifties, early sixties. It seems as if one has found an album that has been lying between your father&#8217;s record collection for over 40 years now.  This brings you back to times you probably have never experienced but really wish you were part of. It makes me feel at least a little rebel. You can buy his album at <a href="http://cdbaby.com/cd/michaelrault" target="_blank">CD Baby</a>. (knowing that this bloke is 20 or so, makes it even more fantastic!)</p>

<p><strong>What?</strong> Canadian Indie, with really solid songs.</p>
<p>Ok, it&#8217;s hard for me to give a very appealing description of Entire Cities. The songs are just really good, the voice has this great grunt in it (it&#8217;s not metal). It&#8217;s perhaps a bit alt. country, but then the rockier version. God, this isn&#8217;t making any sense at all. Let&#8217;s start over again: Entire cities has made a bloody good album with Deep River and instead of reading this, you should listen it. (Their site seems to be offline for now, but i guess you can order the album<a href="http://www.entirecities.ca/" target="_blank"> there</a>.)</p>

<p><strong>What?</strong> Indie electronics, The Postal Service is no longer needed! (Styrofoam, meet your competitor)</p>
<p>James Yuill was on my wishlist for over 2,5 years. I once listened to a song of his and then planned on buying his debut album. That was 2005, and then I forgot. Sometimes i remembered his name or found this mp3 I had and thought of looking for it again, but it&#8217;s only with this album that I really got to know the guy. He&#8217;s responsible for one of the top 5 songs this year (which i won&#8217;t offer for download YET, excitement!), and has brought out an album that makes me forget that The Postal Service had planned on releasing an album this year and didn&#8217;t. I don&#8217;t listen to indietronica that often, but this one made me feel really happy. Thanks James. (On his website you can download <a href="http://www.jamesyuill.com/download.htm" target="_blank">some of his remixes</a>.)  His album can be found at all good record stores, normally.</p>

<p>What? Kings of Convenience with a pinch of typicall Swedish Sounds and the zombies or something like that.</p>
<p>Every year there is at least one album somewhere in my lists that sound a bit Swedish. You know, the sound that bands like Jens Lekman, Suburban Kids with Biblical Names and Irene have. It&#8217;s this bittersweet sound, with a lot of trumpets and stuff. Now these guys are from New York, but they sounds as Swedish as Sm°orrebr°odt. Next to that, they seem to pick up the sound that Kings of Convenience have left (what happened to those guys, well, to the Not Erlend Oye-guy). Really enjoyable sweet romantic. One but though. Guys, if you ever end up here reading these words of praise: make your album not only available on iTunes store. Many people aren&#8217;t fan of that (well, i&#8217;m not). More distribution canals would be really cool.</p>

<p>Okay, if you think that these are just too many tips for you, and can&#8217;t handle all that music, then ignore everything I have said until now. Last year, my number one on this list was Bon Iver (if I remember it as well) and he really boomed. Well, let me say you one thing: Next year is gonna be the year of Mumford And Sons. They have a really incredible sounds, and surely, they should be in the big list, but i realized that i would give them more credit by putting them on a number one spot. Everybody GO OUT AND LISTEN THIS . (And now if someone can tell me where i can buy a copy of both ep&#8217;s and when they will release their debut album, i can end this piece in peace)</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">É um projeto didático e cultural que visa integrar alunos de ensino fundamental com músicos profissionais em um ambiente de gravação em estúdio para que os jovens saibam como são produzidos seus CDs preferidos.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Nessa etapa de 2008, os talentos estão trabalhando em músicas <em>pop</em> e <em>rock</em>, sobretudo do universo <em>teen</em> internacional. Estão presentes canções de <em>High School Musical</em>, <em>Hannah Montana</em>, temas de filmes dentre outros. O projeto foi desenvolvido para que várias fases diferentes fossem executadas, com a supervisão dos pais e produção do <strong>Estúdio Trilha Sonora</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">As selecionadas para essa coletânea foram <strong>Julia Leibovitz</strong>,<strong> Lola Barbano</strong>,<strong> Sofia Reynoso</strong>,<strong> Sylvia Figueras</strong>,<strong> Marcela de Vuono</strong>, <strong>Rafaella Ruette</strong> e <strong>Alexandra Ruette</strong>. A equipe técnica é composta por <strong>Alexandre Moraes</strong> nos violões e guitarras, <strong>André Carreiro</strong> no contrabaixo, <strong>Hélio Cunha</strong> na bateria e programações de loops e <strong>Denis Talasso</strong> nos teclados e <em>synths</em>.</p>

Dennoch kann ich Ihnen diese Seite nur empfehlen; wenn Sie auf der Suche nach raren Filmen oder Schauspielern sind. Ich wünsche den Betreibern schonmal alles Gute !</p>

<title><![CDATA[Banda Musika Competition]]></title>

<p>&#8220;Seven amateur bands are gearing up to perform at the first-ever Banda Musika sa Plaza – A Revival Band Competition on Friday, February 29th, at the Jaro Plaza.The Banda Musika will be a contest between various groups from tertiary schools and universities in the city. This is our way of tapping the talents of the youth and putting them to good use, at the same time making the public appreciate these youthful talents,&#8221; Jimena said.This year&#8217;s theme for the celebration is &#8220;Ani ng Sining:  Arts in Public Spaces.&#8221;</p>
<p>Under the competition guidelines, each band should render two songs which are revivals from the 60s to the 90s. Each band shall be composed of a maximum of 6 members, and must use instruments provided by the tourism office although the bringing of handheld instruments like acoustic guitars and beat boxes<!--more--> will be allowed. Kind of songs to be played may be pop, mellow, slow rock and rhythm and blues.</p>
<p>The champion brings home P8,000; first runner-up pockets  P5,000 while the second runner-up gets a guaranteed P3,000.</p>
<p>Jimena also mentioned that aside from Mayor Jerry P. Treñas, other sponsors for the event are Biscocho House, Coca-cola Bottler&#8217;s Phils., Inc., Deco&#8217;s / Mang Inasal, Deocampo&#8217;s, Panaderia de Molo and Pepsi Cola Products Phils., Inc.&#8221;</p>
