Ratkaisu: Matkakorttitili. Samantapainen tili kuin esimerkiksi lyyrakortilla. Voin käydä juhlissa internetistä tarkistamassa paljonko kortilla on arvoa sekä tarvittaessa verkkopankissa siirtää arvoa kortille.

No ok, ei tossa hirveesti muka-hassun näppäriä nimiä ollutkaan. Näin taas intohimoinen tiedonhaku todisti negatiivisen mutu-ennakkoasenteeni vääräksi! Seuraavaks teen saman tutkimuksen kuuroista ja kääpiöistä, kummatkaan vähemmistöt eivät mielestäni yritä tarpeeksi. Prove me wrong freaks!

Perjantain kotkahenkiset pikkujoulut kaverillani Lauralla olivat todella hauskat. Laura asuu ihan tuossa naapurissa todella mukavassa asunnossaan HUIKEIDEN kämppiksiensä kanssa. Saan ihan kylmät väreet, kun muistelen miten aioin vielä alkuillasta SKIPATA kyseiset puppelipikkujoulut! Lopulta kuitenkin – onneksemme – päädyimme bailaan LEDEN kanssa, Antsa taisi mennä nukkumaan, mutta ISON BNTH-PUTKEN päätteeksi tuo sallittakoon kotkalta. Muutenkin pre-bile -fiilis oli jäätävä. Onneks Lede päätyi kuitenkin kanssani SEKOILEMAAN, vaikka oli Torspon treenien jälkeen jäätyilevässä tilassa.

En löytänyt kuvaa, joka tekisi oikeutta kaverini Lauran bileiden ulkoasulle, joten tämä juhlaotos kelvatkoon.

Pippaloissa oli paljon kivoja ihmisiä, BOOLIA (TUNNUSTAN, JOIN “PARI”) sekä avokätinen ruokatarjoilu. Bilepisteet 4,5/5. Sieltä jatkettiin legendaarisen KARHU MINISTERIN kautta Punavuoren Motelletiin, joka jälleen ennakkoasenteestani huolimatta osoittautui ihan kivaksi. Siellä join jonkun toisen GT:n uskomattoman pitkällä, itserakentamallani pillillä (perushassuttelua kotkatyyliin!) – ennätys oli viiden imuvälineen aparaatti, josta olen aika ylpeä. Kuudella pillillä en saanut enää nektaria suuhuni.

BNTH:ksihan se ilta yllättäen meni! Sitten join kahvia ja tanssin yllättävän tyhjällä tanssilattialla. En ainakaan tunnusta syy-seuraus-suhdetta. Tiedossa olivat myös JATKOT, jotka venyivät käytännössä katsoen seuraavaan iltaan. Nukuin äsken 14 tuntia. “Party hard, sleepy hard” vois lukee hautakivessäni. Näin kokonaisvaltaisesti perjantai-iltaan liittyen haluan kuitenkin vielä painottaa erästä sitä osaltani leimannutta tekijää..

JUOKSIN nimittäin aika paljon! Ensin joskus kahden maissa Karhu Ministeristä BASEEN, jossa näin rakasta isoveljeäni sen verran, että sain häneltä rahaa (meni noin 5 min.) Sitten Punavuoren Motelletiin, johon muut olivat menneet jo etukäteen. Entäs jatkot sitten? Useiden itsesääliä tihkuvien kävelytempauksien jälkeen sain kaksi kotkahenkistä muijaa, Emmin ja Kaisan, mukaani muiden etsiessä taksia pikkujouluperjantaina – onnee vaan! Käveltiin siis typerässä JOULUSATEESSA Punavuoresta takaisin Meilahteen – EI SERVUS!

3. JATKOPYRÄHDYS: Pettymyksekseni myös kaksi “reippailijakaveriani” olivatkin kotkakävelijöiden sijaan julkiseen liikenteeseen ensitilassa turvautuvia pullasorsia ja ottivat BUSSIN keskellä matkaa! Onneksi Kaisan matkakortissa ei ollut arvoa ja likat pääsi pummilla vain kaksi pysäkinväliä. Ja mikä parasta: VOITIN TUONKIN MATKAN. Man Versus The Machine – The Road To Victory.

Tänään näen laiminlyömääni isoveli-Aleksi, syön joulutorttuja ja katson elokuvia. Juuri nyt pohdin Lords of Dogtownin sekä jonkun Disneyn välillä. The heart of life is good. Onko kynttilöiden polttaminen yksin vähän gay?

Krohnien vihermafiaa edustava Minerva “Kelkka”  Krohn on kipuamassa (vastoin aikaisemmin ilmoittamiaan periaatteita) poliittisen virkanimityksen kautta ns. kultaiselle oksalle.Vai sanoisimmeko mielummin, että Minervan kelkka suuntaa kohti suojatyöpaikkaa.

Kunnallisvaalit voittaneet  kokoomus ja vihreät jakoivat pääkaupunkiseudun johtopaikat keskenään viime  tammikuussa parhaaseen perinteiseen poliitiseen maan tapaan.

Tuon sopimuksen perusteella  helsinkiläisestä Suvi Rihtniemestä (kok) tulee Helsingin seudun liikenne -kuntayhtymän (HSL) ja espoolaisesta Raimo Inkisestä (vihr) Helsingin seudun ympäristöpalvelut -kuntayhtymän (HSY) toimitusjohtaja.

HSL alkaa hoitaa vuodenvaihteesta alkaen pääkaupunkiseudun joukkoliikennettä. HSY:hyn yhdistetään pääkaupunkiseudun kaupunkien vesilaitokset ja jätehuolto.

Nämä HSL:n ja HSY:n johtopaikat ovat edustukselliseen kansanvaltaamme olennaisesti kuuluvia poliittisia (palkinto)virkoja. Pääkaupunkiseudun kolmanneksi suurimmaksi puolueeksi kuntavaaleissa jäänyt Sdp ei purnannut (pelinpolitiikan sääntöjen mukaisesti) kokoomuksen ja vihreiden sopimusta.

Jokainen varmaan ymmärtää, että tällaiset ilman soveltuvuutta ja edes teoreettista ammattitaitoa vailla oleville poliitisille pyrkyreille jaetut virat eivät juuri edistä yhteiskunnan hyvää, eivätkä etenkään sen kestävää kehitystä.

Jokainen ymmärtää varmaan myös sen, että jos Suomessa siirryttäisiin suoraan demokratiaan, nämä kytkyt ja poliittiset suojatyöpaikat katoaisivat rasittamasta yhteiskunnan kuluja ja lisäämästä oikeiden virkamiesten työkuormaa. Hallinto muuttuisi asteittain kohti todellista kansalaisten yhdenvertaisuutta.

Tämä idea suorasta kansanvallasta ei kuitenkaan ole tähän mennessä kelvannut suurille puolueille, koska ne menettäisivät vallan lisäksi otteensa yhteiskuntaa. Nyt näyttää siltä, että vihreistäkin on tulossa aito suuri puolue.

Vihreät vaativat nimittäin jo saamansa palkintoviran lisäksi  vielä täysin uuden johtajanpestin perustamista itselleen Uudenmaan liittoon.

Tämä Uudenmaan liitto on alueellinen 21 kunnan yhteisö, jonka tärkeimpiä tehtäviä on laatia alueelle maakuntakaava – asia jonka viivyttämisessä ja yhteiskunnallisten hankkeiden torpedomisessa vihreät ovat aikaisemminkin kunnostautuneet. Muistatte varmaan kuinka kalliiksi vihreiden toimet tulivat yhteiskunnallisesti katsoen Vuosaaren satamaprojektin viivyttelyssä?

Uudenmaan liiton tärkeimpiä viimeaikaisia toimia ovat olleet Kehittyvien Maakuntien Suomen kautta korruptioskandaaliin liittyneen kohuliikemies Toivo Sukarin Ideaparkin torppaus ja  uuden läsnimetron linjaus.

Tärkeä elin siis.

Vihreät perustelevat tätä vaatimaansa uutta johtajanpostia sillä, että liittoa ovat pyörittäneet  kokoomuslainen maakuntajohtaja ja hänen  demareista tuleva varamiehensä.

Se mikä asiasta tekee erikoisen mielenkiintoisen on sellainen tosiasia, että tämän ihqun ja uuden  poliittisen viran perustamista vaativat nimenomaan vihreät. Vihreillä kun on aikaisemmin ollut otsaa moralisoida edustukselliseen kansanvaltaan kuuluvaa poliittista kulttuuria. Nyt näyttää siltä, että vihreät ovat kuorineet vesimeloninsa ja vihreän kuoren alta on paljastunut raadollinen punainen jakopuolue.

Nyt vihreät ovat päässeet siihen, missä esimerkiksi keskusta, kokoomus ja SDP ovat olleet jo vuosia – avoimeen omaneduntavoitteluun ja yhteiskunnallisten asioiden sotkemiseen ja uhraamiseen sen varjolla.

Yhteiskunnan edun uhraus ja sotkeminen ovat jo alkaneet, sillä tämä vaatimus uudesta johtajasta on sotkenut täysin Uudenmaan liiton suunnitelmat.

Nykyisen taloudellisen taantuman saapuessa myös Uudenmaan liitto joutui uuden tilanteen eteen.  Liitossa tehtiin tarpeelliset johtopäätökset . Siellä  mietittiin uutta organisaatiota koko vuoden 2008 ajan. Lopulta organisaatiota karsittiin (ihan fiksusti) vähentämällä päälliköitä ja johtajia – siis poliittisia suojatyöpaikkoja.

Ketään ei kuitenkaan irtisanottu, mutta esimerkiksi eläkejärjestelyiden avulla talosta katosi kymmenkunta työpaikkaa.  Samassa prosessissa päätettiin myös, ettei  minkäänlaisia uusia virkoja perusteta.

Vihreiden vaatimuksesta Uudenmaan liittoon aletaan nyt sitten kuitenkin (vastoin entisiä päätöksiä ja vihreiden julkistamia periaatteita)  etsiä  uutta johtajaa ensi vuoden alussa. Muodollisesti haku on avoin, mutta käytännössä paikalle valitaan helsinkiläinen Minerva Krohn.

Minerva saa ihan oikeita alaisia pomputettavakseen, työhuoneen Uudenmaan liiton toimistosta ( Aleksanterinkadun arvokkaasta ympäristöstä) sekä matamin habitukseen ja arvomaailmaan ilmeisen erottamattomasti kuuluvan virka-auton kuljettajineen.

Minervan palkaksi on kaavailtu  6 000–7 000 euroa kuussa. Eihän tuollainen rääpesumma ole sinänsä  mitään ministeritasoa, mutta ehkä Minerva sillä jotenkin pärjää.

Minervan tuleva titteli on kuitenkin vielä auki. Se saattaa olla  strategiajohtaja, kehitysjohtaja tai kehittämisjohtaja. Se voi olla myös (sic!) muutosjohtaja. Muutoksen aikoina tarvitaan muutosjohtajia jo pelkän muutoksen vuoksi. Johtaja joka tapauksessa.

Minervan tuleva titteli on siis vielä  epäselvä. Näin siksi, että  kukaan ei tiedä, mitä uusi johtaja tekee. Tai mitä ihmettä Uudenmaan liitto sitten uudella (poliittisella)  johtajallaan oikastaan todellisuudessa tekee?

Tärkeintä lienee kuitenkin se, että Minervan kelkka karauttaa turvalliseen suojatyöpaikkaan ja vihreät pääsevät sotkemaan muille sopivaa yhteistä kaavoituspolitiikkaa  – maksoi se sitten meille veronmaksajille ihan  mitä tahansa.

What this post is:

A personal observation of how the continuous interruption of tv commercials affected my children’s behaviour.

My kids watch some tv. They watch  a commercial-free children’s station called Treehouse (although they do sneak in the odd tv commercial), and they watch dvds.

In principle, they do not have much exposure to commercials, advertisements, or brand pushing. They are not immune to it; they are limited to it.

One evening, one of us adults flipped around looking for something to watch on tv. We came across a station called YTV, which was playing the classic movie The Wizard of Oz.

We thought…hey, this is a movie our small children might enjoy? Let’s try and sit down with them and watch it for a bit. See how they react to it.

So we did.

Generally speaking, our kids are not movie people. They do not have a lot of experience with movies, and previous attempts to show them a movie didn’t always turn out successfully (as in, the 4yo would get bored or scared or both and start playing with his Lego, or something to that effect).

This movie however appeared to have some appeal. At least initially, until the scarier parts came up. Unfortunately for us, we realized that the movie was about halfway through by the time we noticed it was on, so the wicket witch and the flying monkeys made somewhat of a negative impression on Benjamin.

But not so negative as those irritating tv commercials that intercepted the movie every 7 minutes or so.

During the first commercial break, the kids sat entranced, watching the endless parade of toy advertisement. I watched their faces, and I noticed some confusion on the older child’s face. Was this part of the movie? Where did that scary witch go? He realized quickly enough though that it wasn’t part of the movie, yet he remained fixated on the screen.

By the time the second series of commercials interrupted the movie, both kids started getting active on the couch. There was some kicking of the feet, some fighting over the blanket, and some annoying noise-making.

Javadad just looked at me and said “look how the commercials are affecting them”.

And this is not even a comment directed at the commercial content!

Honestly, by the time the third series of  toy commercials finished, I was feeling rather annoyed, even violent, myself. The amount of absolute crap that these sponsors are encouraging their viewers to purchase is criminal, if you ask me.

There was about an 40 minutes left of the movie. Each 7 or 8 minutes, there was a commercial break. Each new commercial break produced more, not less, activity in the kids. Activity in the form of fidgeting, whining, or jumping around.

This is not what I call relaxed family time.

Must I mention it was evening and down-time, also known as quiet-time? Watching this movie on this tv station was obviously a mistake.

It leaves me to ponder things. How is it possible that so many children are allowed to watch tv before bedtime? Or anytime, for that matter? Do other people’s children react to commercials the way my kids do?  How is this handled by the parents? Or do the kids (and parents) eventually get completely desensitized?

It’s sad. But it’s also eye-opening. The commercials do succeed in selling their products. Almost all birthday parties I have taken my kids to prove this point. The bulk of toys these children receive are identical to the advertisements on tv, and are mirrored on mainstream, chain and big-box toy store shelves.

And with this thought, we enter what is known in North America as the holiday shopping season.

For those that remember Reboot I would like to pass along the annoucement that they guys at Rainmaker Studio (same guys that made the TV show, just changed there name from Mainframe) are producing a new CGI movie for the series. No idea if it’s going to pick up from the series or be something brand new but if you are a old school nerd then this is going to be interesting to you either way. The teaser came out last week but we just found it, it’s 16 seconds long but has us so jazzed here at the office that we might just reboot our computers for fun.

Even before Pixar announced they’d be opening a Vancouver studio, we’ve had a pretty strong animation scene here. With companies like Studio B, Bardel, Rainmaker (previously Mainframe), Atomic, and Nerd Corps, Vancouver’s established itself as one of the top centres for animation production in Canada… maybe even the world.

When I was a fresh grad, with a Writing for Film & Television diploma in one hand and a hefty English BA in the other, I had the idea that writing for animation might be a more realistic career path to pursue while living in Vancouver, as opposed to relying solely on sending my screenplays around to local production companies.

So far, it’s paid off. I’ve been contracted a few times to work on animated series: three times for series development work, and once for an episode of Studio B’s wildly successful show Kid vs Kat.

Developing an animated series is similar to building a live-action one: you need to consider your audience, your target broadcaster, and what it is about this series that would entice you to watch it. This last one is very important, as a lot of writers my age are very hungry to get into writing for animation, but don’t watch many animated shows — they’re meant for kids, right? Anyone working in development can sniff this out in seconds when they read over a series pitch, so you need to know your industry and illustrate that in your writing.

To help producers rally interest around their animated properties, I’ve written short promo-style episodes – meant to illustrate the world of the series as quickly as possible in an entertaining way – and also developed short pitch packages that summarize the series from top to bottom – similar to a mini series bible (not to be confused with a mini-series bible).

Indie producers have to do a lot of heavy lifting to get their series into the right hands, so it’s my job as a writer to make sure anything I write does its job once it gets to a development head or broadcaster. As many people in the industry know, a series order or even further development work is often dependent upon what’s hot at the moment – which changes so quickly that it’s not worth trying to predict. My philosophy is simple: create something you’re passionate about first, worry about the market second.

As for writing episodic television, that’s a whole other game. Writing my episode of Kid vs Kat (entitled “Hypno Kat”) was an interesting experience, as many things were still changing in the first season. I was lucky enough to work with two great Story Editors, Rob Pincombe and Shelley Hoffman, who helped me craft an episode that’s been seen by kids and adults in over 20 countries around the world.

There are so many opportunities to relive my own childhood in this field. I love digging up the most terrifying / embarrassing / frustrating moments of my life and dumping them onto a character, forcing them to find solutions I never thought of when I was younger.

I remember reading a ‘guide to animated writing’ book last year, and the author described that it’s just like writing for anything else, but WITH A LOT OF CAPITAL LETTERS!

That pretty much nails it.

Aamun Hesarissa (maksullinen) oli ensimmäisen Suomenkin markkinoille saapuvan sähköauton, Mitsubisin IMiEV:n, koeajo.

Toimittajan arvio auton ajo-ominaisuuksista oli positiivinen: “Ensivaikutelma on äänettömyys. Takavetoinen auto kulkee ja kiihtyy kuin huomaamatta.”. Juttu ei kuitenkaan keskittynyt näihin sähköauton hyviin puoliin vaan tarkoituksena oli kokeilla “pääsemmekö iMiEV:llä Hämeenlinnasta Vantaalle.”.

Mikä ettei. Sopiihan sitä kokeilla. Tulos oli odotettu: auto hyytyi ennen pääkaupunkiseutua. Ja näin toimittaja sai todistettua että sähköautosta ei ole polttomoottoriauton korvaajaksi.

M.O.T.?

On täysin ääliömäistä verrata sähköauton toimintasädettä polttomoottoriautoon. On kyse kahdesta täysin eri keksinnöstä, joilla on erilaiset käyttötarkoitukset ja ne syntyivät erilaisista tarpeista erilaisiin maailmoihin.

Tiehallinnon tiefakta 2009:

Suomalaiset tekevät keskimäärin 3 matkaa vuorokaudessa, joihin
käytetään pysähdyksineen 70 minuuttia. Matkojen keskipituus on 15 km
ja koko päivän aikana suomalaiset liikkuvat keskimäärin 42 km.

Autolla ei keskimäärin tarvitse taittaa 91 kilometrin matkaa, joka Hämeenlinnasta Vantaalle olisi! 42 kilometriä riittää! Ja usein varmasti vieläkin vähempi. Harvempi meistä yhdellä kerralla koko suoritetta suhaa.

Nopea haku VR:n sivuilta ensi maanantaille tuotti Hämeenlinnasta Tikkurilaan vaatimattomat 29 junayhteyttä. Luulisin Matkahuollonkin tarjoavan vielä lisää vaihtoehtoja.

Tulevaisuuden nykyistä ilmastoneutraalimmassa yhteiskunnassa tuollaisia matkoja ei ajeta henkilöautolla.

Sähköautot voisivat korvata nykyiselläänkin jo suurimman osan liikkumisen tarpeesta kesän lomareissuja ja sukulointeja lukuunottamatta. Miksei niitä varten voisi vuokrata erikseen autoa? Miksei sähköautokauppias voisi tarjota rajallisen toimintasäteen ajokin oheen edullista vuokra-pirssiä pitkille matkoille?

Ilmastonmuutos ja “öljyhuippu” eivät anna armoa – mitä pikemmin vaihtoehtoisia voimanlähteitä saadaan sarjatuotantoon, sen parempi. Vielä niitäkin tärkeämpää on kuitenkin saada muutettua koko autoilun paradigmaa – miten autoa käytetään, mihin sitä oikeasti tarvitaan ja mitkä sen rajat ovat. Auton päivät yksilöllisen vapauden symbolina ovat ohi.

Pääkaupunkiseudulla henkilöauton kyydissä on keskimäärin 1,3 henkilöä. Autoilun päästöt vähenisivät puoleen myös sillä että tuo lukema nostettaisiin 2,6:een. Ja tuo olisi toteuttavissa vaikkapa huomenna toisin kuin teknis-tieteelliset sähköauto-fantasiat. Jos vain tahtoa löytyisi. Ei löytyne.

Tiistain Hyysäri kopaisi erästä vihreisiin liittyvää asiaa hieman toiselta kannalta. Olen joskus aikaisemminkin todennut, että luonnonsuojelu ja vihreät eivät korreloi keskenään. Ja taas tämä asia osoittaututui todeksi

Puolustusvoimat ilmoitti viime vuonna luopuvansa neljän Helsingin edustalla sijaitsevan linnakesaaren hallinnasta. Alustavasti näitä saaria on kaavailtu helsinkiläisten ulkoilu- ja virkistyskäyttöön. Pajusen mukaan Kuivasaaren, Rysäkarin, Vallisaaren ja Kuninkaansaaren avautuminen helsinkiläisille vähentää paineita Santahaminan suunnalla. Tosin Pajunen toteaa myös, että Santahaminan käytöstä päättävät ensisijaisesti puolustusvoimat ja valtio.

Satamatoimintojen vetäminen Sompasaaresta ja Jätkäsaaresta on tuonut uutta tonttimaata Helsingin ydinkeskustan tuntumaan. Samaan suuntaan vievät myös Lounais-Sipoon alueliitokset.  Pajunen ei näe Santahaminan asuinrakentamista edes ajankohtaisena.

“Santahaminan merkitys tulevaisuuden asuinalueena on pienentynyt. Kun Östersundomin alue liitettiin Sipoosta Helsinkiin, se avasi huikeita rantarakentamisen alueita käyttöömme.

Mutta miten sitten asiaan suhtautuvat vihreät? Se tuskin on yllätys kenellekään, joka on menettänyt illuusionsa vihreiden olemuksesta ympäristöpuolueena.

Kaupunkisuunnittelulautakunnan varapuheenjohtaja Osmo Soininvaara huomauttaa, että Santahamina on merkitty (virheiden painostuksesta)  yleiskaavassa selvitysalueeksi.

Toisin sanoen sen käytöstä ei ole päästy sopimukseen. On grande kaupunkirakenteellinen moka, kun kokoomus pitää keskustassa Santahaminan kokoista aluetta aivan joutavassa käytössä

Puolustuslaitosta vastustava – ja pääkaupungissa olevan varuskunnan merkityksestä mitään  ymmärtämätön -  Soininvaara möläyttää.

Vihreiden kaupunginvaltuutettun roolissa tällä kertaa esiintyvä  Soininvaara ei pidä Pajusen näkemyksistä. Soininvaara haluaa jatkaa Santahaminan rakentamisesta käytävää keskustelua – vaikka muut tahot sitä eivät haluakaan.

Ei maailma tähän lopu. Sipoon rannat ja vanhat satama-alueet on rakennettu vuoteen 2015 ja viimeistään 2025 mennessä, sitten tarvitaan jälleen rakennusmaata. Päätökset Santahaminan rakentamisesta pitäisi tehdä nyt

Edes Santahaminan saaren luontoarvot (ja siihen liittyvät lukuisat uhanalaiset lajit)  eivät tätä entistä – nykyistä – koijärveläistä betoninsuojelijaa  hetkauta eivätkä ne häntä kiinnosta.

Luontoarvot ovat kauniita ja söpöjä, mutta tuolla argumentilla rakentaminen voitaisiin estää koko pääkaupunkiseudulla. Heinäsirkkoja löytyy joka neliöltä

Nyt ei kuitenkaan ollut kyse heinäsirkoista – nyt on kyse myös  200:sta uhanalaisluokituksessa olevasta kasvi- ja eläinlajista.

Miten tämä nyt sitten pitäisi ymmärtää? Homeenvihreän liikkeen suuren gurun tämän(kään)kertainen kommentointi ei ainakaan minua yllättänyt.  Pidin Odea joskus ihan fiksuna kundina, mutta olen nähnyt sen todellisen Osmonkin, joten verhot ja utu ovat kadonneet tämän tekovihreän ajattelijan ympäriltä.

Osmo Soininvaara ja Helsingin vihreät ovat ottaneet Santahaminan keppihevosekseen muutamasta varsin läpinäkyvästä syystä.

Vihreät ovat yhteiskuntaa muuttamaan pyrkivä puolue.  He pyrkivät rikkomaan nykyisen kansanvaltaisen kansallisvaltion perusteet – vaikka sitten hitaammallakin aikataululla. Tämän vuoksi konservatiivinen puolustuslaitos on joutunut näiden haihattelijoiden tulilinjalle.

Toiseksi on syytä muistuttaa siitä, että vihreät ovat pohjimmiltaan erittäin elitistinen järjestö – tavallisella kansalla ei ole asiaa vihreisiin, eikä heillä (virheillä) ole juuri mitään tarjottavaakaan normivirtaselle.

Jos et maksa kymmenyksiä ilmastonmuutos(kupla)uskonnolle, osta säännöllisiä kehitysyhteistyöaneita, kuljetuta ns. ekologisia elintarvikkeita maapallon toiselta puolelta vain itseäsi varten ja käytä muutenkin rahojasi pahan omantunnon poistamiseen (esimerkiksi tolkuttoman kalliita ekovaatteita ostamalla), et voi olla todellinen vihreä.

Tämän tietäen on varsin helppo päätellä, keitä ovat ne joiden  vihreät haluavat Santahaminassa asuvan tulevaisuudessa – joukon vihreitä napanaisia (ja pari vihreää puudelimiestä).

Vihreiden ympäristöystävällisyys kaavoituspolitiikan alueella on suuri kupla. Vihreät pyrkivät tiiviiseen kaupunkirakentamiseen – luonnosta ja ihmisten viihtymisestä välittämättä. Vihreät eivät usko niitä kokemuksia, mitä muualla maailmassa on saatu tiiviistä kaupunkirakentamisesta.

Nimittäin slummiutumista ja sen mukanaan tuomia muita erittäin ikäviä ilmiöitä. Kun tähän lisätään vihreiden ajama “Suomi kuuluu kaikille“-politiikka,  avoimine rajoineen ja kaikille maahantulijoille jaettavien sosiaalisisten subventioiden kera, niin saadaan samaan vihreään slummisoppaan vielä eri etnisten vähemmistöjen välistä monikulttuurista syrjintää, vihaa ja väkivaltaa.

Puhumattakaan siitä, että myöskään joukkoliikenne ei ole saasteetonta eikä päästötöntä. Normaalilla matematiikalla laskettuna populaation kasvaessa myös liikenne ja siihen liittyvät päästöt kasvavat (mihin se ilmaston muutos nyt unohtui?). Näin ei taida kuitenkaan olla tuolla vihreässä todellisuudessa -  jossa asiaa lasketaan vihreällä (soininvaaralaisella) tilastomatematiikalla.

Eikä sekään riitä.  Sieltä mistä vihreä kaupunkisuunnittelu on kerran kulkenut yli, sieltä ei nouse kedon kukkaa eikä heinäsirkka siritä – enää koskaan. Tässäkin esillä olevassa tapauksesssa Santahaminaan kaavaillaan raitiovaunusiltaa kaupungista meren yli – piittaamatta edes  estetiikasta, joka on kuitenkin normivirtaselle tärkein luontoon liittyvä arvo.

Samaan aikaan  – tämä sama vihreä – ponipoppoo puuhastelee tuulivoimapuistojen kanssa – haluten pilata niin tunturi- kuin saaristomaisematkin.  Näiden helvetinkoneiden ympäristöystävällisyys katoaa esteettisen haitan lisäksi siihen, että ne tappavat lintuja ja että niiden aiheuttama meteli on infernaalinen (käykää huviksenne esimerkiksi Kielissä ja yrittäkää nukkua yönne hotellissa, joka sijaitsee tuulivoimapuiston viessä).

Vastaavaa viherpuuhastelua on nähtävissä muuallakin pääkaupunkiseudulla. Vantaalla vihreät kannattavat kaupungin ainoan järven kupeeseen suunniteltua bussivarikkoa. Osa kokoomuslaisista vastustaa sitä, koska se vaarantaa Kuusijärven luonnon.

Espoon Histasta ollaan tekemässä vihreän näkemyksen mukaista ekologista asuinaluetta. Alueen osayleiskaavaehdotuksesta päätettiin eilen kaupunkisuunnittelulautakunnassa. Vihreä piikki Lanka kertoo tänään, että Tiina Elo ja Espoon vihreät ovat tyytyväisiä eiliseen päätökseen.

Tämän lautakunnan varapuheenjohtajana toimiva  Elo kiittelee blogikirjoituksessaan päätöstä, joka sisälsi vihreiden keskeisimmät tavoitteet.

Haluamme Histan rakentuvan tulevaisuudessa uudenlaiseksi ekokaupungiksi junaradan varteen. Samalla edellytämme kuitenkin, että alueen poikki kulkevat toimivat viherkäytävät ja että Nuuksio säilyy erämaisena myös tuleville sukupolville.

Eli vihreät haluavat pilata pääkaupunkiseudun viimeisenkin yhtenäisen luonnonsuojelualueen. Erämaisuus on Nuuksiosta kaukana, mutta se on varsin viihtyisä ja kohtuullisen laaja yhtenäinen virkistysalue.

Kun sen yhteyteen rakennetaan tämä vihreiden kaavailema tiivis asutusalue, voidaankin sanoa hei, hei koko kansallispuistolle ja sen luonnonmukaisuudelle. Tehokas ja tiivis rakentaminen, joukkoliikenne sekä  luonnonrauha kun eivät oikein istu keskenään samassa paikassa.

Ehkä tulemme näkemään tulevaisuuden Nuuksion kansallispuiston Kontulan tai Kirstinmäen metsien kaltaisena nuorison ja spurgujen kaljoittelu- ja riehunta-alueena?

Koska kaupunki omistaa Histan alueella merkittävästi maata, voimme päättäjinä olla vaikuttamassa siihen, millaiseksi alue aikanaan rakentuu.

Öh? Anteeksi kuinka?  Minun ymmärtääkseni tämä julkinen maan omistus Histassa kytkeytyi Luukin-Nuuksion alueen virkistyskäyttöön, eikä slummin rakentamiseen pääkaupunkiseudun henkireiän välittömään yhteyteen.

Jos nyt joku vielä luulee, että vihreät ovat luonnonsuojelusta ja ympäristöstä vakavasti kiinnostunut puolue, niin suosittelen ottamaan korvatulpat pois korvista ja tarkistuttamaan näkönsä optikolla tai silmälääkärillä.

Vihreät ovat taloudellista kasvua haluava ja perinteisiä vasemmistolaisia arvoja edustava käskypuolue.

Sometimes, I find myself thinking like Kyon.  I wish that something amazing would happen to me.  Like maybe that if time travellers, ESPers or aliens really existed, my life would be absolutely perfect.  Granted, I wouldn’t have to go on wacky adventures (though that wouldn’t be entirely out of the question), but just knowing that they were out there.  That they really existed and were interacting with the dreary humdrum of everyday life and everyday people might give me some hope in thinking that my life wasn’t so boring after all.

I mean, living in a small city is an amazing feeling, because you feel like you know everything there is to know.  About your surroundings.  About life.  About people.

The world is so closed in that you don’t think about what’s out there.

Well, not everybody!  But I didn’t even realize how encased my life was until I discovered anime.

I know, I know, I know!  Anime is in no way a substitute for life or even a provider of great epiphanies, but the first time I turned on the TV and saw Sailor Moon, my whole life changed.  There was this place, out there across the water and all around the other side of the world, called Japan.  Land of the rising sun.

Growing up in school, we had a few Asian students, most of which were Indian.  They were minorities… there weren’t very many of them and elementary school was pretty miserable if they had accents.  It’s not that we didn’t like them or that we thought they were bad people; it’s just that they were different.  And I think, as children, we were scared.  The adults less so, but I think they were too.  We didn’t think of them as any less than human beings, with equal rights and everything… but it was their own lifestyle, the life they had lived and the life they had left behind that caused the people in my class to stare when they felt that no one was watching.

And then I watched anime.  Suddenly, a whole new world opened up to me.  A world where girls had magical powers and saved the world from evil aliens.  A world where teenagers piloted giant robots in space and fought epic battle after the other, all while still remaining loyal to the ones they fought for.   As world where an ordinary high school girl discovered she was the catalyst to preventing or begining the destruction of a completely fantastical world.   YTV (a Canadian cartoon channel) was my sanctuary.  It was my escape.

Maybe, out in the world, there was a place where monsters that attacked the city were normal.  The more rational side of my childhood said that was impossible.  And the little kid inside my heart never stopped believing.

Even now.

Manga and anime is how I continue to live my dream.  Pretend that magic really exists.

But I’m out of high school now, and have been for a little while.  Those childish fantasies aren’t going to get me anything but laughed at as I get older and disappointed as I continue aging.

So that’s why I’m here, typing this out at a gas station that graciously has provided Wi-Fi.  I’m out to find the magic of real life.  The magic of escaping the town you were born and heading out on your own.  The magic of the wind against your face and helmet as you tear down the highway.  The magic if seeing an empty stretch of road ahead and wondering if anyone can see you as you throw back your head and laugh so loud that the birds fly off fences and electrical towers as you pass by.

This world is connected to me.  And I am connected to the world.  Every action has a consequence, and I’m tired of living in a world where the consequences are isolated to a small cubicle in the corner of the office.  I want to get out.

I want to live.

Hahaha… I was so nervous on my first day; I don’t really remember much of what happened.  I’m just stopping here, about an hour away from Kamloops, for gas and a lunch/snack.  I haven’t really met too many people yet, but I’ve got about five weeks and to fill up that requirement.  Will probably stop in Kamloops to sightsee, then will move on to Revelstoke and stay there for the night.  Will update there, too (hopefully).

[Did That Just  Happen?]

Do you remember Are You Afraid of the Dark? episodes on YTV? I certainly do.  And I certainly remember this face:

Ross Hull, or better known as “Gary”, one of the story tellers. Do you often wonder what happens to these people? I only wonder this sort of thing when it comes to old school Degrassi High characters, and especially loved it when I saw Pat Mastroianni (“Joey”) randomly appear in a commercial a while back.

ANYWAY, I’m watching the news today just to see what the weather is going to be like (I usually straighten my hair and listen to it like the radio, I don’t usually watch the television in the mornings) and I hear this voice I recognize. I have no idea why I recognize this voice. So, naturally, I have to park myself on the chair and check this out. Low and behold, it’s Mr. Hull on Breakfast Television Calgary and he’s telling me about how my city’s weather is looking for the next week. I sat there and blinked at the screen a few times. Then, I think I sent out about two or three text messages wondering when this happened and wondering what the heck is going on. I felt like Brodie from Mallrats when he was hit in the face by a stage piece in The Mall, “Where the hell did that come from? What’s going on here?” (♪ soundclip )

This is absolute insanity. I still can’t get over this. Anyone close to my age who comes near me this morning is going to hear about this. Am I bitching? Not at all. I’m just surprised, and I must share that with the world. Immediately. I even @replied BT_Calgary on Twitter this morning letting them know my whole world just turned sideways because of all of this. In an awesome way, of course!

(The documentation below was submitted to the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on June 12, 2009. This public version has been modified to remove some of the actual names. — R.J. Carter)

INTRODUCTION

The following is a summary of the Toledo, Ohio-based activities of a pedophile CP production and distribution ring centered around BoyChat member and pedophile Anakinboy10 aka YouTube username LoganSperman2.

BACKGROUND

Two years ago, Troy Riser (then-YouTube username ‘troyriser’) and others posted a series of videos—known as ‘vlogs’ on YouTube— exposing and publicizing the attempts of an online pedophile ring calling itself ‘The YouTube Vigilantes’ or ‘YTV’ to gain influence over a children’s video-making group called Young Tubers United, which is in turn ran by YT user ‘Jesari’ a now-14- year-old boy whose first name is Jesse, along with his father. The membership of Young Tubers United numbered thousands of children, at one point, and made several feature ‘kid collaboration’ videos garnering millions of views. There was talk of corporate sponsorship. A separate website distinct from YouTube was established. This separate Young Tubers United website contained a Frapper map holding the physical and email addresses of hundreds of children, who would supply this information—along with photographs—to show support for this kids’ group. Videos made by Troy Riser and others questioned the purpose of such a website and the gathering of personal information. Later, an attempt was made to establish a chat forum with nonexistent safeguards, allowing real-time interaction between the YTU children and anonymous adults. The forum was in place for a short time before YouTube username ‘Logansperman2’ ordered Charles Daigley, the YTU site webmaster, to remove it due to the unfavorable publicity the forum was generating. A screencap of the YTU homepage, shown below.

The YouTube Vigilantes (YTV) claimed (and still claim) to be a group of concerned adults who ‘fight haters’ and ‘help children.’ The following YouTube users are the central members of the YTV, although there are several—perhaps dozens—more:

• Logansperman2: identity unknown; claims to be a teenager although an analysis of ‘Logan’s’ voice captured from a YTU site snapvine call by audio engineer [engineer's name] of [company, city, state], determined that ‘Logan’ is an adult using voice changer or audio editing software to make his voice sound like that of a child. A visual analysis by YT user ‘HeyItsFey, a former police artist, of one of Logan’s videos and several of his photographs demonstrates a clumsy attempt at ‘head-on-body’ Photoshop manipulation. The audio file containing ‘Logan’s’ voice has been attached to this or subsequent emails. Logansperman2 is, in all probability, Ohio pedophile Anakinboy10.

• TBD1000: [given name], a software engineer and metrics expert from [country].

• Irish282: [given name], a refurbisher of musical instruments from [city, state].

• Dynacatlovesme: [given name, state]

• Th3C0br4: name unknown. First name possibly ‘Iain’.

• Other known pedophiles with direct or peripheral involvement in the Young Tubers United group include BoyChat member ‘Santi’ (YT user Santi101), BoyMoment member BigCD, whose real name is [actual name] of [city, state], BoyChat member ‘Slvrspun’ (YT user ‘Silvrspn’ whose real name is [actual name], of [country]), BoyChat member ‘Oldtimer’ (YT user ‘Oldtuber’), former YT user TobrianHorde, BoyChat webmaster ‘DylanThomas’, whose real name is John Schillaci, formerly on the FBI’s Most Wanted list and currently serving life in prison.

The following screen capture shows the purported PM exchange between BoyChat member Santi (YT username Santi101) with Jesse (last name unknown; former YT user Jesari and current owner of YT channel ‘Youngtubersunited2’)

THE JAKERISER CHANNEL

On January 15, 2008, pedophiles created a YouTube channel featuring Troy Riser’s then 14-year-old son, Jacob.

The JakeRiser YouTube channel contained Jacob Riser’s photographs pulled from his boxing gym web page, his full name, address, school, the names of his mother and sister, the route he used to go to school, and other detailed information. Troy Riser was told by the JakeRiser channel’s creator, later determined to be [actual name] (an exposed BoyChat pedophile , former YT user ‘kwclark’ and current YT user ‘SmugMugg’, of [city, state]), to shut down his ‘troyriser’ channel or other channels would go up featuring his teenage daughter, Maggie. The FBI was notified regarding child endangerment and interstate transmission of a threat (Agent [agent's name], [email address]@ic.fbi.gov ) and numerous complaints were submitted to YouTube. Once the JakeRiser channel went down, however, another one—JakeRiser2—took its place, along with the LoriRiser channel, this time featuring Troy Riser’s ex-wife.

['SmugMugg'] closed all of his JakeRiser and LoriRiser channels once FBI involvement became known. After several months, he reopened a new YT channel, SmugMugg.

THE-TRADES EDITORIAL

On January 28, 2008, in response to the then-ongoing extortion attempts against Troy Riser, Riser’s longtime friend and writing collaborator R.J. Carter wrote and posted an editorial at The- Trades.com, a commercial website reviewing pop culture and entertainment trends. The article was entitled “YouTube: Pedophile Playground”. The-Trades.com, like most commercial sites, captures and keeps detailed visitor records. This data was used to identify ['SmugMugg'] as the pedophile primarily responsible for the JakeRiser channels, and captured the IPs of several of the posters responding to the article, and as a later source for the IPs of the article’s readers. (Refer to Appendix A for complete article text.)

The-Trades.com later removed the article after a letter was sent to The-Trades publisher threatening legal action on behalf of one [given name], who operates YouTube account Irish282. [Given name], strongly suspected of being an online predator, was/is an adult agent for the YTU video-making group, and regularly files DMCA notifications on its behalf. The letter, signed ‘ytu’ was sent from the email address of ytu@youngtubers.com. The profile for this account, created by the Frappr mapping utility linked to the website, displays a supposed photograph of the owner, shown below, which matches images used in videos created by YouTube username LoganSperman2, represented as himself. (Refer to Appendix B.) The email headers showed the complaint email was sent from IP address 69.221.15.155, resolving to Toledo, Ohio.

LoganSperman2 has a documented history of asking children to dance for him on video:

THE JRADEN LETTER

The article was then reposted as a WordPress blog (http://therjcarter.wordpress.com/youtube-pedophile-playground) where it quickly received a dissenting post from a user signing as JRaden (http://therjcarter.wordpress.com/youtube-pedophileplayground#comment-4. (Refer to Appendix C for full text.)

JRaden’s response followed several of the regular talking points utilized by YouTube user LoganSperman2, employing many (if not most) of Logan’s stylistic mannerisms and ticks. The IP address 70.226.117.128 extracted from this email resolved to the Toledo, OH server.

The JRaden posting also left behind an email address, Jeremy75000@hotmail.com. A quick search showed this to be the same email address used to register the YouTube channel, JeremyAndFriends.

JEREMYANDFRIENDS

The JeremyAndFriends channel’s main featured video is a solicitation for donations for a new web camera. The video features an obvious editing cut when the subject speaks the email address, demonstrating that the video itself has—in all probability—been culled from the Internet. More importantly, the video description bar includes the Jeremy75000@hotmail.com address as a point of contact—the same email address used by ‘jraden’.

The ‘Help Me I Need Money’ video is posted throughout the Internet. Note the advertisement for a custom video.

A query was sent to the Jeremy75000@hotmail.com email address, asking the channel’s owner how funds might be delivered. The following response was received:

Please note the email exchange between our operative and the owner of the ‘Jeremyandfriends’ YouTube channel can be viewed in its entirety by accessing the original Live.com email account used to initiate the exchange, as follows:

password: ********

The IP can be stripped from the ‘jeremy’ emails, furnishing solid independent evidence.

Additionally, note the difference in writing styles between JRaden’s WordPress comment versus his email.

ANAKINBOY10

Note the AnakinBoy10@gmail.com email address used to accept donations via payoneer for JeremyAndFriends ‘camera fund’. Anakinboy10 happens to be a member of BoyChat:

Anakinboy10 has a web presence under that username going back at least six years. His focus is the distribution of boy-related images and videos. On one of his accounts, he gives his age at 30.

In the following exchange, Anakinboy10 is promoting a site called ‘boymodels’:

The Anakinboy10 email address is also the point of contact for payment for videos sold through http://www.boymodels.tk , which has been ‘temporarily’ shut down.

In lieu of the boymodels website, Anakinboy10 established a video gallery at http://www.freewebs.com/videogallery2/.

EVIDENCE OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY PRODUCTION & DISTRIBUTION

Because the ‘gallery’ has been extensively scrubbed since its existence and connection to YT user Logansperman2 was established, the original is presented in screencaps, as follows. The overly long html page has been sectioned for inclusion here:

Of urgent interest is the line at the bottom advertising ‘kids and teens available for modeling’, now expunged from the freewebs page. An example of his advertising for this aspect of his business is below:

Important: As the above advertisement demonstrates, Anakinboy10’s advertised ‘products and services’ include ‘custom’ videos of children, which in turn implies the actual production of child pornography, child exploitation, prostitution, and sexual assault.

THE MONEY TRAIL

It turns out the preferred method of payment for Anakinboy10’s operation is Amazon gift certificates, thus hiding the money trail. In all probability, the gift certificates are used to buy products from Amazon, which are then in turn sold on eBay or other online outlet.

THE IP TRAIL CONTINUED

By means of his ‘Acme Cleaning Services’ blog, our operative (known as ‘Rez’) captured two postings by the man known as LoganSperman2 — one on http://pub37.bravenet.com/forum/3141133667/fetch/633508 — and derived two additional IP addresses, both of which resolve to the Toledo, Ohio Internet cluster:

The following table documents the connections made from LoganSperman2 to JeremyandFriends to Anakinboy10, with IP addresses that all track to the Toledo, OH Internet node.

CONCLUSION

A well-organized, tightly networked group of Internet-savvy online predators has executed a plan to ingratiate themselves with a children’s video collaboration group on YouTube for the long-term purpose of producing and distributing soft- and hardcore child pornography. Over the past few years, these men (and perhaps a few women) have attempted to establish a pedophile-friendly chat forum under the auspices of that kids’ group, and used support for that group’s website to amass the names, email addresses, physical location, and photographs and videos of hundreds of those children. One of the central figures of this pedophile ring is BoyChat member Anakinboy10, who is—in all probability—YouTube username ‘Logansperman2’, a pedophile proven to be a grown man presenting as a teenager online and who has constructed an elaborate persona using faked kid videos and a well-developed, fully realized teenage boy persona. The focus of all of this online pedophile activity invariably resolves to IP addresses in Toledo, Ohio.

The threat to children here is immediate, real, and ongoing. It is vitally important the identities of those children being used to make Anakinboy10’s ‘custom’ videos be found out immediately, as well as those children being groomed for such a role.

Since I couldn’t post a comment on the ohnotheydidnt community page, I’ll just have to blog it here. “Are You Afraid Of The Dark” still creeps me out *shudders*…I’m reliving my childhood nightmares as I write this post…

Zann says her nude scenes have never been a secret and they have no bearing on her abilities as a candidate. As for Nova Scotia Liberals, she added, “I think it shows their desperation.” Me too.
