Có người từng so sánh truyện của Midorikawa Yuki với Tsukuba Sakura (Mekakushi no Kuni), nhưng thực ra cả hai tác giả đều chiếm trọn cảm tình của những ai yêu thích nét vẽ mảnh mai vừa đáng yêu lại vừa buồn rầu. Chỉ là, nếu manga của Tsukuba Sakura có ánh sáng dịu dàng của mùa xuân, thì của Midorikawa Yuki lại là tiết thu với những cơn gió thì thầm kể chuyện.

Vì thế, mùa thu trở thành thời điểm rất thích hợp để nói về các tác phẩm của Midorikawa Yuki.

Hotaru no Mori không phải cái tên lạ. Những bạn thích lang thang down truyện trên mạng đều đã đọc nó vào lúc này hay lúc khác, chỉ có điều có lẽ không phải ai trong số họ cũng biết là oneshot Hotaru no Mori không chỉ có Khu Rừng Đom Đóm (câu chuyện thứ 2) mà còn 3 câu chuyện khác nữa. Bạn sẽ hỏi chúng có liên quan gì không? Ồ, không, chúng hoàn toàn không liên quan tới nhau, nhưng Hotaru no Mori, phải có đủ 4 câu chuyện mới có thể gọi là đủ đầy.

Tại sao nhỉ?

Nếu chú ý một chút, người đọc sẽ nhận ra bốn câu chuyện xảy ra trong bốn mùa Xuân Hạ Thu Đông. Ở câu chuyện thứ nhất ẩn hiện những đóa hoa anh đào vẫn đang giữa độ nở rộ, có gió có hoa, có cả một hạnh phúc nhỏ đang chờ ngày thổ lộ. Câu chuyện thứ hai là ánh đom đóm trong những ngày hội mùa hè, là giấc ngủ trưa giữa nắng, là một cuộc vui sớm tàn.

Câu chuyện thứ ba và thứ tư, một là lá vàng mùa thu trải vàng rộm sân trường, có những nỗi buồn và cô đơn giữ lấy sâu trong lòng, lẩn khuất trong những dãy hành lang là sự dịu dàng và trống trải; một lại là mùa đông với hơi thở trắng xóa và những giọt nước mắt không dám để rơi, là những lời không dám nói, là một tình cảm không bao giờ có thể thừa nhận.

Tất cả đều buồn, buồn tới đau nhói trong lòng được vậy, nhưng bốn khung cảnh tự nhiên biến những nỗi buồn ấy trở nên khác nhau, là thực ra không phải như người ta vẫn nghĩ về sự tươi vui của xuân hạ và úa tàn của thu đông, mà mùa nào cũng có thể giấu trong mình sự lặng lẽ của riêng mình vậy.

Bạn có thể coi như tất cả chỉ là trùng hợp. Bốn mùa Xuân Hạ Thu Đông có khi cũng chỉ là sở thích nhất thời trong lúc vẽ của Midorikawa Yuki. Điều đấy chẳng ai chắc được phải không? Nhưng dẫu sao thì sensei cũng đã vẽ nên một Hotaru no Mori với bốn sắc độ rất riêng, lần lượt, nên xin đừng chỉ lắng nghe có một đoạn nhạc dở dang mà thôi.

Một giao hưởng bốn mùa, có thể gọi Hotaru no Mori như vậy chăng?

Học viện Seisou chia thành hai khối: Khối phổ thông dành cho những học sinh bình thường, và khối Âm Nhạc dành cho những người học chuyên về Âm Nhạc. Thường thì hai khối không dính dáng và cũng không muốn dính dáng gì đến nhau.

Chính vì thế mối quan hệ này trở nên lộn xộn khi tự nhiên trong danh sách thí sinh tham dự Giải Âm Nhạc vốn hội tụ toàn những nhân tài lớn của khối Âm Nhạc, xuất hiện tên của một nữ sinh của khối phổ thông.

Vì sao một người không biết gì về âm nhạc lại có tên trong một danh sách như thế?

Như để đáp ứng sự trông đợi khi nhìn vào tên truyện, âm nhạc trải rộng trên mọi con đường.

Từ Violin, Piano, Clarinet đến Trumpet, Flute, Cello; từ Boccherini, Wagner tới Grieg, Chopin… âm nhạc ở khắp mọi nơi, tưởng như có thể làm bạn choáng ngợp nếu bạn không có khái niệm gì chuyên sâu về nó.

Nhưng không sao, hãy tin là rất nhiều người cũng không thể biết hết những điều này như bạn, nhưng vẫn thích đọc thử La Corda D’Oro, vì dù chỉ qua giấy trắng mực đen, những khung hình vẽ tĩnh, người đọc vẫn như thấy dòng chảy âm nhạc nổi lên trên bề mặt và len qua những ngón tay một cách dịu dàng.

La Corda D’Oro không phải một hòa tấu âm nhạc cao siêu, đây là một shoujo lấy âm nhạc làm đề tài và cốt truyện. Vì thế, cũng vẫn là một nữ sinh rất bình thường, vẫn là những tình cảm nhỏ nhắn, sự giản đơn đặc trưng của một shoujo lãng mạn. Chỉ khác là mỗi nhân vật đều có một thiên khiếu về âm nhạc hơn người, có thể là bẩm sinh, tiềm ẩn, cũng có thể là do luyện tập chăm chỉ mà có được. Mỗi người có một cách nhìn khác nhau về âm thanh và nhịp điệu, có một suy nghĩ và nỗi buồn riêng, nhưng họ cùng đi về một hướng.

Nơi mà âm nhạc, có nghĩa là hạnh phúc.

Soujiro/Yuki vs. Yi Jung/Ga Eul

Hey guys, remember me? :* I know it’s been a while since i’ve posted and i want to SINCERELY APOLOGIZE for that. Life happens, you know? anyways, since it’s thanksgiving break, I’ve had some time to ponder and think about this comparision so i made myself log into wordpress and type this post up! Btw, I want to really thank everyone who comments on my blog and I also want to thank those who subscribe! It’s nice to know that the things i do are enjoyed by other people ^_^

Alright, so as the title suggests, I’ll be comparing the chemistry/relationship of Soujiro and Yuki in Hana Yori Dango vs. So Yi Jung and Ga Eul (SoEul Mates!) in Boys Before Flowers, so let’s get to it!

So first off, I want to mention that the relationship between the Soujiro/player character and Makino’s best friend is also written in the manga, which is where the dramas probably got this idea from. I think the overall story line of the innocent, good girl falling for the player is really cute and i’m glad they’re in both dramas! But which one’s better?

HYD first (as I’ve been typically doing nowadays)

It’s interesting how in HYD, Yuki starts developing feelings for Soujirou when he helps her out with that creeper she’s dating. And then she has feelings for him; but I feel that the relationship between Soujirou and Yuki is more of a fan-girl relationship with a popstar, not really a love kind of relationship. This mostly applies for the first season and the beginning of the second season.

However, when we get towards the middle of the second season, I think we can really see that kind of ….”love” Yuki has for Soujiro when she tries to help him find the building from Sara. And the fact she like put her health at risk to help him find redemption was really cute.

But then that one time where it was Valentine’s day and Soujiro only invited Yuki in his how as was like “d’awww. how cute” but then he asks about Sara and stuff so i’m just like LAME! -____-

And even the way they end the relationship with Yuki and Soujiro in the Final movie, it definitely feels like the whole time it was a fan-girl kind of relationship.

(couldn’t really find a lot of pictures of these two, and my snipping tool wasn’t working T-T sorry guys)

Okay, now onto BBF,

I really like how they made the relationship between Yi Jung and Ga Eul an important part of the storyline. In HYD, the relationship is kind of off to the side (cuz with Mao and Jun’s major chemistry available, who would want to see them! lol jk…ish) but there were definitely moments in BBF where I cared more about the storyline of Yi Jung and Ga Eul more so than Jandi/Junpyo (shocking, i know).

They have super great chemistry, I think. And I’ll touch more upon this when I compare Kim Bum and Kim So Eun, but i think they really portrayed their characters well which in turn made their relationship turn out really well. So Eun  did a really good job at portraying the innocence that this character should have and Kim Bum did a SUPERB job being the kinda player-jerk character and I think when you put those 2 together, you have a great match.

Also, to touch upon the heartbreaking aspect of this relationship: in the beginning, it’s really sad how Yi Jung, the flirt, pretty much makes ga eul have feelings for him; basically, it was very hard for her to resist liking him! (Which is totally understandable, i know how she feels >_<) And yet, when she tries to make things work, he’s off doing sketchy things with other girls!

arg. the kiss that never happened =/

BUT UGHGHAOWEUROWIJERJWLKJLKWEJRLWJER! they didn’t kiss. and i hated that. LEAVE IT TO A KOREAN DRAMA TO LET A RINGING PHONE RUIN THE MOMENT! ugh, i hate it when dramas do that >:O. when i saw that, i was like “WOOOOOW ARE YOU SERIOUS??!?!?!?!!” yeah, i definitely didn’t like that. The moment was so right and I would’ve loved to see a kiss between these two.

It was also really interesting to see in the BBF how they made Yi Jung leave for Sweeden in the last episode. and he says

“When I come back, you will be the first person whom I seek out…Well I mean, only if Ga Eul hasn’t found her soulmate by then.”

So adorable. And I think that this quote really shows the strong bonds between Yi Jung and Ga Eul; that he will stay faithful to her for 4 years when he’s away in another country ESPECIALLY knowing his playboy character. It’s just so cute.

I also want to share one of my favorite quotes from this couple. It’s when the F4 + Jandi & GaEul are in New Caldonia and Yi Jung and Ga Eul are on the paddleboat:

Yi Jung: “So Miss Ga Eul, have you found your soulmate?”

Ga Eul: “Nope, not yet. But when I find him, I’m never going to let him go. I’ll regret it for life if I let him slip by.”

I don’t know if the show intended to have the “SoEulmates” tag line, but if they did that on purpose, the person who came up with that is a genius. cuz i think it’s so cute how we see refrences to soulmates throughout the drama between them.

In addition, the Koreans plan to remake the successful Taiwanese Drama, It Started with a Kiss based on a Japanese manga (of course!). Some have been speculating that this drama could be the return of SoEul! I cross my fingers and hope it’s true! It would be so great to see them together on screen again!

So in the end, the winner is: (hehehe, look what i found )

SoEulmates win!!! Btw, that picture is NOT photoshopped it’s real! they filmed it for an advirtisement. Actually, while I was researching things for this post, I’ve grown to like SoEulmates a lot Before I liked them in the drama, but i didn’t really see why everyone was obsessed with them, but now i understand why. They really do have great chemistry and they look really cute together! Overall, I think my decision in this post had to do a lot with the storyline that happened in BBF. But then when you look at the chemistry of these two, you can’t help but love them

This means the current score in the HYD vs. BBF Battle is 11 to 10. Once again, I apologize for not updating sooner! I might do soujiro vs. yi jung just since i’ve been doing my research on the 2 for this comparision iono. we’ll see how things pan out!

Katsui graduated from Central Saint Martins College after studying at Parsons The New School for Design. Yagi graduated from Doshisha University and Central Saint Martins College.
The brand, mintdesigns was launched in 2001. They have been in Tokyo Collection since ‘03 S/S. The awards they won include the Moet et Chandon New Designer’s Award in 2005. In 2007, mintdesigns garage store opened in Shibuya PARCO. They presented their collection in the 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT THIS PLAY! show. In 2008, they presented the opening show at São Paulo Fashion Week for ‘09 S/S. Both designers currently hold positions as guest professors at the Faculty of Art and Design at Osaka Seikei University. In 2009 they presented their collection at the Milano Salone TOKYO FIBER ‘09.Mint Designs turned out a dainty crop of dresses featuring details such as shimmery stripes, textured fabric and quirky graphics. One frock featured a darling print of tiny Charlie Chaplins, while another showcased circular cutouts along the sides.

Hey Leute!

Ich liebe euch. :3 Wirklich. Ihr scheint mich aber nicht so gern zu haben. Ihr habt mich tatsächlich dazu gebracht Cosporn 2 zu schreiben. : l

Nun gut, ich bin ja schon dran gewöhnt, whatever… Was habe ich mir für heute rausgesucht? Da ich letztens über TMOHS2 geschrieben habe, wieso widme ich Cosporn 2 nicht TMOHS? Ja! Ich schreibe über Suzumiya Hahiru no Yuutsu! Ja, Hahiru, nicht Haruhi. Wieso? Weil wenn man 2 Silben vertauscht, man nicht mehr für die Lizenz bezahlen muss, jawohl!

Was gibt’s zu TMOHS zu sagen? Als TMOHS zu einem Anime wurde, feierte es einen großen Durchbruch. Der “Multiple-Female-Lead”-Trick meine Damen und Herren. Man hat eine Tsundere, eine mit großen Titten und eine die immer cool ist. Der Traum eines jeden Otakus ist erfüllt. Jedoch wäre es zu einfach TMOHS als Moe-Bullshit abzustempeln, auch wenn es das zu einem Anteil ist.

TMOHS hatte eine sehr interessante Wendung durch Haruhis Charakter und ihre Fähigkeiten. Außerdem ist es interessant zu sehen wie die TMOHS-Welt aufgebaut ist und wie sich alles ergänzt. Die ganzen Fraktionen, die Haruhi beobachten, zum Beispiel. TMOHS hatte auch einen tollen Sinn für Humor und hatte zahlreiche Parodien und Referenzen zu anderen Animes.

Nun, eines Tages dachte sich ein Regisseur, dass Hentais nicht mehr reichen. Es muss einen Haruhi Cosporn geben, mit so richtig geilen Special Effects unso. Gesagt, getan.

Das Ergebnis ist… Naja, lasst es uns mal zusammen durchgehen.

The name is a shortened form of the a registered trademark purinto kurabu, “print club”

This is a purikura sticker booth in China Town London, I took this photo when I was there last month, but I didn’t get an opportunity to use the machine
I hope to use it next time I am there.
