If the previous “Kämpfer” episode featuring the lovely Kämpfer maidens showcasing their shapely bodies in enticing summer bikini wear were to your liking then you will surely enjoy these rather daring “Kämpfer” promotional illustrations spotted online.

Originally featured in issue 4 of the “NyanType” magazine, we’re shown a cute bloomer clad Sakura over-zealously hugging a blushing Natsuru.

One can only fathom what antics must go on in the locker room at Seitetsu Gakuin High. Shimapan for Natsuru? Surely that we can only approve~

The above image can still be seen as more benign compared to below illustration that not only showcases Mikoto but also gifts us with Sangou, Akane and Sakura all clad in nothing but frilly colorful aprons.

Am not entirely convinced by how Sangou was drawn, she looks a bit off, think they could have done a better job there. Though nice to see an illustration that puts Mikoto front and center.

Both images show a lively and happy Sakura which rather clashes with the image of her evil glare and scheming from the past episode. There definitely is more to her than meets the eye.
What is Sakura up to, who is she really? Can’t wait to find out in the coming episodes.

It was uncovered that SHINee Minho’s ideal girl is Yuri not Goo Hara.

On ‘Invincible Youth’ aired on the 27th of November,
Minho voted his ideal out of the G7: Goo Hara (Kara), Narsha (Brown Eyed Girls), Yuri (SNSD),
Sunny (SNSD), Hyomin (T-Ara), Sunhwa (Secret), Hyuna (4 Minute).

Minho picked Yuri, Sunhwa and Hyuna for the first round. Goo Hara (to her surprise)
did not get selected along with Narsha. (Minho picked one out of two people each time,
similar to the ‘Ideal World Cup’)

Previously Minho picked Goo Hara as his ideal on another variety show,
which was why Hara was shocked by her elimination.

Minho explained “There was a part edited out. I was forced to pick out of Kara only,”
at this Hara could not hide her embarrassment making her the laughing stock of the day.

Eventually Minho picked Yuri.

Well they’re coming back!  Damn, if I were SooYoung, I might’ve pushed Hyoyeon all the way down to the floor, even if we were already on top of the stairs… I mean, it’s Park Ji Heon of V.O.S.… *cries* but he’s married! I like how they automatically call Jessi an ahjumma, they probably already know about her so they don’t bother to pay attention :p On the other hand, Jessica doesn’t care about what they know, she’s more worried whether or not she looks old lol

Okay, back on topic: Five members of SNSD volunteered to work at Starbucks on November 19th. >>Jessica,<< Tiffany, SooYoung, Seobaby, and Hyoyeon  worked to raise money for a children’s charity at the Starbucks cafe and even walked around to promote their cause. SNSD “loves dem keeds!” and worked from 10:00 to 17:00, a seven hour shift! Because of their popularity, their fans supported their cause and they were able to raise tons of money for the organization. I’m sure the fans didn’t mind the 30-60 minute wait for their cup of crack freshness!
Anyway, I was just informed that MBC filmed the girls at work and will air the edited parts on November 30th, two days from now. I wonder how this will compare to the Mnet’s Il Il Cafe (Charity Cafe Event) thing that SNSD did with Olympic swimmer, Park Tae Hwan on January 05, 2008… Oh well, we’ll find out shortly.

I wonder where the hell they are… I know that Park Ji Heon was too busy making a baby and living his married life *cries some more*, Kim Kyung Rok made a single and an album earlier this year, and Choi Hyeon Jun last year was >>busy making some Rain some good music<< for once. Supposedly they’re due for a comeback soon now that they’ve left Empire Entertainment… But makes me wonder why they were on Chinchin on 2009603…

Anyway, a few SNSD members (especially SooYoung) have big crusheson V.O.S. The trio is pretty close/cool with the girls cuz they’d sing their songs in different shows or talk about the girls. They even made a parody of one of their own songs (I forget which one) but changed the lyrics to make fun of TaeYeon’s height! lalu Minho menjelaskan soal alasan dia memilih Hara “ada bagian yang diedit dalam acara tersebut. dan aku disuruh untuk memilih Hara saja”

Ok, sorry that my blog post seems a bit late. But anyhow, I really love this chapter very much! I know all of you Girl Friends fanatics have read the latest chapter so let’s break it down!

In the previous chapter, Akko finally gathered all the courage to tell Mari that she wants to go out with her. So Mari’s reply was *runs away* o.o yup.

Akko then ran after. As Mari stopped near a fence,  Akko then told Mari tht this “chase” happened before. She then asked Mari if she was disgusted in the relationship just because they are both girls.

She then explains to Mari that she loves her the same way Mari loves her. At first, Mari thought Akko did it due to kindness but her bestfriend explains in detail that she loves her more than anything. She even promised never to do “kissing games” with Sugi and Tamamin ever again. The nervousness later subsided and Akko hugged Mari.

The long-haired girl was about to make a stunt of kissing her bestfriend in public but was saved? (lol? XD) by the ringing of Mari’s cellphone. The person who called were her friends who were out looking for them. Both girls then went home together hand in hand.

My most favorite part of the chapter was during the Airplane scene. As both girls took pictures of themselves via their cellphones, Akko finally made a move to kiss Mari. Mari didn’t care if it wont go well as she said, what matters was she will never forget that moment no matter what.

Awwww~ Morinaga!!!! You finally answered 90% of our fangirl squeels. It was a bit hanging though because SHE DIDN’T LET US SEE THE KISS! DAYM! But guys, let’s expect a super hyper jump chapter this time! MORINAGA has to because it’s Christmas time ya know! xD

More than 100 fan cafes dedicated to Korean pop culture have opened on the Russian networking site “V Kontakte” as of July 31. Their membership rosters range from as little as hundreds to as many as thousands of members, as more and more Russians are becoming the fans of Lee Hyo-ri, Rain, Wonder Girls, Girls Generation, 2NE1, 2PM, 2AM and SHINee.

Each cafe features the latest video materials about their favorite singers. Russian fans even vote on K-pop cafe charts every month to pick the best K-pop song.

Many Russians are also big fans of Korean TV shows and movies. They also vote for their favorite shows. Some cafes even offer access to illegal downloads. Cafes dedicated to actors Lee Jun-ki, Kong Yoo, Kang Dong-won, Kim Ah-joong and Song Hye-gyo have hundreds of members. The latest Korean TV shows, such as “Boys Over Flowers,” as well as shows that aired years ago enjoy enormous popularity in Russia.

Many Russian Internet users laud Korean TV shows for their original soundtracks, while others give credit to actors and actresses for their pretty looks. Fans of Korean movies have set up cafes dedicated to directors Park Chan-wook and Kim Ki-deok.

It has been only two years since the Russian youth, who are big fans of Samsung mobile phones, began taking interest in Korean pop culture. Once, many Russians admired Japanese culture, with Japanese sushi being all the rage among affluent Russians. Young Russian women imitated Japanese hairstyles and watched famous Japanese anime films. But recently the popularity of Japanese culture has been on the decline, giving way to Korean pop culture.

College student Anastasya Petuhova, 20, said, “Korean songs are very exciting. The choreography is also unique and stylish. The music industry in Korea is highly advanced because many groups compete for popularity.”

One Korean professor who teaches Korean in Moscow said, “A growing number of students want to study Korean. The popularity of Korean culture in Russia will contribute to the development of both nations.”

Gleefully anticipating her date with Natsuru, an overly enthusiastic Akane falls off her own bed, leading Seppuku Kuro Usagi’s to wonder what is wrong with the bespectacled girl.

Commenting Akane’s being quite bold to have asked Natsuru out on a date, the bespectacled girl admits to the stuffed animal that she just doesn’t want to loose to Sangou or Sakura. Claiming the date may not play out the way Akane desires it to due to Natsuru being oblivious to her feelings, Seppuku Kuro Usagi gets a good thrashing from the feisty girl.

Going out to a resort with an amusement park, Akane tells Natsuru they have fun to their hearts content and even catch the summer festival taking place that evening since they’re staying over at the adjacent hotel.

Saying it’s going to be her first time spending the night with a boy, Akane feels embarrassed but her expression soon turns to surprise when she hears someone asking if she would trade places. Seeing Sangou and Mikoto followed them, Akane is shocked while Natsuru is dejected, fearing it’ll be another tiring day being tossed about by the girls.

However, Natsuru’s expression quickly brightens when he sees Sakura has accompanied Sangou and Mikoto, though as expected, Sakura is only interested in meeting the female Natsuru and pays no attention to Natsuru in his male persona.

Observing the many pools in the resort, Natsuru is taken in when Mikoto, Akane and Sangou appear, all sporting lovely bikinis. But when the girls think the boy is lewdly ogling their shapely bodies and voluptuous bosoms, they soon realize Natsuru only has eyes for Sakura’s bikini clad body.

Complimenting Sakura on her two piece swimsuit, Natsuru is depressed when Sakura offhandedly thanks him and immediately goes about asking when the female Natsuru will arrive.

To make matters worse for Natsuru, Sakura denies his request to teach her how to swim and instead relies on Sangou’s aid. Seeing his spirit crushed, Akane steps in and takes Natsuru along to play in the pool but the girl can’t help but feeling jealous when Natsuru casts longing glances at Sakura.

Pushed into the water from high up on the dive tower by cheeky Mikoto, Akane heads out of the water to recuperate from the ordeal. Sitting with Natsuru on a lounge chair, the two are joined by a Mikoto full of mischief that swiftly starts to tease poor Akane again.

Alas for Natsuru he soon becomes the unwilling subject of the girls’ combined teasing when Sangou and Akane both squeeze themselves against Natsuru in a competition to vie for his attention.

Whispering to Natsuru it is time to go change into his Kämpfer persona, Sangou and Natsuru catch Sakura casting an uncharacteristically mischievous glance at three girls who walk past, the whole scene looking even more suspicious when the girls nod back at Sakura.

Returning in her female Kämpfer form, Natsuru is embarrassed to walk around in a revealing bikini, even more so when her shapely body becomes the object of everyone’s attention, including Sakura and Akane who dreamily stare at her.

Asking Natsuru to teach her how to swim, Sakura shows no mercy in brushing off how insignificant the male Natsuru is to her when the blue haired Kämpfer suggests she gets him to teach her, much to Natsuru’s despair.

Teaching Sakura how to swim, Natsuru is quickly overwhelmed when the bold girl uses the opportunity to tightly grab hold of her. When a raging jealous Akane starts an all out feud with Sakura, Natsuru is pulled out of the watery war zone by Sangou, who sends the blue haired girl off on an errand.

Wandering on her own in a corridor, Natsuru is suddenly cornered by three Kämpfers wearing white bracelets.
Introducing themselves as Hitomi Minakawa, an Zauber user, Sayaka Nakao, a Schwert Kämpfer and Ryouka Yamakawa, a shy Gewehr Kämpfer, the three girls tell Natsuru they have no intention of becoming comrades, but that they’re simply following the Moderator’s will by appearing before the blue haired Kämpfer.

Driven off by a gunshot ricocheting right between Natsuru’s legs, the white Kämpfers witness Akane’s grand entrance degrade into a yelling contest with Natsuru who berates the foul mouthed girl for having shot her between the legs at a spot that would have resulted in a painful injury had Natsuru been in male form.

Gazing in disbelief at the two girls having a verbal brawl as if oblivious to the presence of enemies, the white Kämpfers are as much driven back by Natsuru and Akane’s high decibel shouting than by Sangou’s timely appearance.

Using a blinding light flare created by Hitomi’s Zauber powers as a diversion, the white Kämpfers retreat.

Exhausted, Natsuru crashes down in his hotel room, offhandedly sighing he’ll be off to sleep soon which leads Akane to sprawl herself on the bed saying she’ll abide his wild desires even though she doesn’t feel ready for it yet.
Receiving a call from Mikoto to come and join the other girls, an oblivious Natsuru heads out leaving a crushed Akane behind.

Having a good time sharing laughs and stories together with the girls, Natsuru once again becomes the target of envy, lust and frustration when a daring Sangou not only makes an allusion of giving the boy an indirect kiss when handing him a beverage cup she first put her lips to, but the student council president soon enrages Mikoto and stuns Akane when she reveals she has kissed Natsuru before.

Hearing Sangou out, Sakura listens with interest how her friend not only kissed Natsuru when out on a date but also long before at the school festival.
Mikoto’s rage and Akane’s shock only grow when Sangou boldly dives in and deep kisses Natsuru, much to Sakura’s amusement.

In all the commotion, no one sees Sakura’s face darken to an uncharacteristic evil expression or Natsuru’s empty gaze as he obediently accompanies Sakura when she heads out, the boy looking as if under some sort of hypnotic spell.

A terrific “Kämpfer” episode, perhaps the best one so far.

Something is definitely odd about Sakura, those evil plotting looks, is she’s being controlled by the Moderators, or perhaps in league with the white bracelet Kämpfers to get to Natsuru?
My suspicion is that Sakura herself may very well be the Moderator, the one pulling all the strings in a game she created for her own entertainment and joy.

Though am wondering about that last scene in their hotel room, with Sakura so uncharacteristically taking an interest in the male Natsuru and luring him away right under Sangou’s nose.
Seems a bit too forced since Sangou looked like she wasn’t suspicious of Sakura at all, while she was onto the white bracelet Kämpfers pretty early on before. Maybe Sangou’s letting it follow its course in order to attain certainty on Sakura’s allegiance? Perhaps the student council president plans to have it look as she stands by idly to later catch Sakura red handed?

Adored Akane and Sangou again, Akane was so cute when her mind ran amok with perverted thoughts and Sangou was quite forward and daring, she’s seriously staking her claim on Natsuru.
Natsuru was not only quite the irresistible beauty while clad in that sensual bikini, she was quite the hoot as well, while in contrast male Natsuru just isn’t that funny by being so oblivious.

Loved the three new white bracelet Kämpfers! Wasn’t too impressed by the first white Kämpfer that appeared two episodes ago but the three new Kämpfers we saw I adored with this first introduction.
Especially liked the spunky green haired Kämpfer named Hitomi Minakawa, she is voiced by Junko Minagawa who you may remember as Akira Ferrari from “Aria” or Ayaka Yukihiro from “Negima!”, really like her sweet voice.
Also liked the shy Gewehr user Ryouka Yamakawa, voiced by Kotomi Yamakawa, who also did the voice work for Ako Izumi in “Negima!”, she was just the cutest with her shy attitude that mimics Akane’s normal persona.

No doubt having caused many to perish by explosive bloodnose, the three new Kämpfers looked stunning in bikini, “Kämpfer” really is filled with busty buxom maidens.

The humor was terrific, the fanservice outstanding, the action flashy and the plot seems to be thickening. Can’t wait to see what will happen next week!
Will Sakura turn out to be the series nemesis?

Hmm, that’s what it looks like to me!

One of 2009’s new girl groups, T-Ara, is having a comeback with a new (mini?) album this December. But it looks like after two members leaving and adding three in, they wanted a fourth one- Yoona!

Haha just joshin’ of course Yoona wouldn’t leave the Don’s side. Are you kiddin’? Do you know what kind of process you have to go through and what kind of life you’d be living afterwards? Yuri and SooYoung can’t protect her forever!

Okay, I’ve been a fan of >>T-Ara<< since I heard they were supposed to be this year’s SeeYa and Davichi. So of course that got my attention right away! They furthered my interest when I heard their song for the Cinderella Man OST.

You can probably already tell why I fell for them lol they’re just my style (of music)! Too bad they broke up :T  Not that the new T-ara is bad now, but they’ve stopped doing this style and of course, moved on to the second phase of Kpop- no longer using real vocals. As you can see from the teaser for their upcoming single…

Though I gotta admit, they did pretty damn good job in their second MV/single after the member change in their group. It’s freaking good! I love it when really vocal-centric groups can make something upbeat and catchy and still use the same strong vocals (which is why I love SeeYa and Davichi lol). This song is what’s permanently gonna keep T-ara in competition with the already top girl groups of this generation. Though their debut (with the song Good Person)and the days that lead up to it were highly anticipated due to their pretty faces, young ages, and reported strong vocals- Gojimal (Lies) was their first official market sold single and it did quite well.

Some of you may recognize two girls, JiYeon who was with Davichi and SeeYa (post-Nam Gyuri) and HyoMin who is in Invincible Youth with Sunny and Yuri. Those two, along with EunJung are the three original members of T-Ara.

Man, these chicken CF’s are getting out of hand. I don’t know if Goobne is actually promoting chicken or 9 girls rubbing up on each other, but quite frankly I could careless about chicken while watching this CF.
