Zac Efron no va a dejar el trono del “rey de todas las pubertas” tan facilmente. El también tiene una película que promocionar y lo está haciendo con estilo, viéndose impecable como siempre. Primero se presentó junto con Claire Danes, su coprotagonista, en el programa The View, donde hablaron entre otras cosas, de que él fué nombrado el mejor pecho por la revista People. Ademas Barbara Walters se lo estaba saborenado, literalmente, parecía que en cualquier momento la viejita  iba a saltar y darle una mordida.

Making an evening stop at the Ed Sullivan Theatre, Zac Efron was all smiles at the “Late Show with David Letterman” in New York City on Tuesday (November 24). Dressed in a snazzy suit, the “High School Musical” hunk greeted fans and posed for pictures as he headed inside to promote his new movie, “Me and Orson Welles”.  Keeping quite the busy schedule as of late, Zac teamed up with his “Me and Orson Welles” costar Christian McKay earlier in the day to unveil a plaque at the original Mercury Theatre site on their upcoming movie’s behalf.

Zac also recently declared his desire to be seduced by an older woman on the big screen, saying, “I’m still waiting for that script and that director. I like a lot of movies from the 1970s. A movie I just saw again and one of my favorites is The Graduate.”

Is there trouble in Hollywood paradise for the High School Musical couple, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens? Despite anything you might have heard, a source is saying that things are still great. “they spent months together up in Vancouver, where they are both filming movies.” “Things are going well with them,” the source says. “They are happy. It’s been awhile since we’ve seem them together.

Zac Efron has been promoting his new drama, Me & Orson Welles, non-stop for the past week and finally got a chance to sit down and relax while chatting with Parade magazine.

The 22-year-old actor revealed why he loved Richard Samuels, what he hopes to accomplish in his career and about his number one fan — his dad,David Efron. Check it:

On his number one fan: “When I made the choice to become an actor, I think he would have been much happier if I went to college. But he got over it. I haven’t seen anyone enjoy themselves more on a set, which can be a very boring place when you’re not working. My dad comes down every chance he gets. It’s almost cute. He’s definitely enjoying this ride. Now, he’s my number one supporter.”

On setting his sights like Orson Welles: “Orson was very ambitious, but he just approached his career with such ease and confidence. That’s how I would like to be. That’s how I’m trying to be. I want to learn as much as I can and go for scary things, movies that could potentially fail. That’s what makes it interesting and fun. That’s how you should live your life. It’s kind of my motto, I guess.”

On bonding with his character Richard Samuels: “I really connected with Rick — the way he kind of lucked into an opportunity to act, and thanks to Orson Welles, doors were opening for him. It kind of resembled my life experience growing up in the theater. In school, my whole life was focused on theater, especially musicals, which were a creative outlet. I had no clue that I’d end up in Hollywood. I’m still on the craziest ride of my life.”

There’s no escape.
“We went to the Isle of Man, which is a fairly secluded place to do some filming. The idea of going to a fairly secluded place where I could kind of just leave all of the attention behind was really appealing. Richard Linklater was like, ‘You’re going to love it. There are no paparazzi.’ So we were in this old theater filming a scene and suddenly we heard clapping and cheering. It turned out there was a bunch of kids who were High School Musical fans and they had found me. So I went outside and signed some autographs. I really found their enthusiasm endearing.”

What he does for fun.
“I like very normal things, like hiking and camping. When it comes to sports I go skiing, surf boarding, snowboarding, and skateboarding. But, I guess at this point a perfect day for me is probably just relaxing and hanging out with friends. It’s not always easy to be left alone, but I try not to think about it. You can’t let fear control you.”

His silliest moment.
“I found the hand of a mannequin in homeroom class in high school. So I attached it to the sleeve of my shirt and then I had my real hand hidden inside. I would walk up to people and take my real hand out, and it looked like an alien was jumping out of my chest. They thought I had a third hand. I really scared some people.”

Bringing his dad along for the ride.

You don’t even have to put gel in it or anything. OK, there is one thing. If you wash it at night and leave it damp, just towel dry it, you wake up in the morning and you’re all set.”

Hoy en día, actores americanos pretenden hacer de los animes más famosos, adaptaciones a películas. El siguiente candidato para la adaptación de Death Note es Zac Efron, así es, el actor de las películas  “High School Musical” quiere uno de los papeles protagónicos en la película. Este joven actor en una entrevista para una revista, declaro ser un admirador de la serie de Death Note e hizo énfasis en su deseo de participar en la película americana que se pretende llevar a cabo.

Esto es lo que dijo: “Me encanta Death Note y estamos trabajando en ello… definitivamente es algo que no llegara pronto… no esta en los planes a corto plazo. Es algo que esta ahí… Estoy convencido que diga lo que yo diga ahora, será la próxima película. Era una idea, y quien sabe… tengo una reunión sobre el tema”. Bueno, pues se nota que esto no es sólo un proyecto y como aun no esta confirmado quien participara en la película, solo nos queda aguardar un poco mas.

Ahora que si el proyecto para Death Note se vuelve una producción de Disney, no me extrañaría verlo a el como Light Yagami, a Hannah Montana como Misa Amane y a uno de los Jonas Brothers como L XD. Y no olvides dejar tus comentarios.

Lambert, Adam — ABC’s Good Morning America has canceled a scheduled concert by devil-music gyrator Adam Lambert after a steamy performance at the American Music Awards left old people stunned and young people confused. Good Morning America hasn’t shied away from controversy this vocally since it refused to allow Tom Bergeron to show off his collection of “pooping donkey” candy dispensers in 1999.

Suleman, Nadya — “Octomom” revealed during a recent interview that she’s planning to write a book. The book will allegedly revolve around the confusion of having so many children and the socio-economic difficulties faced by living life inside a shoe.

Sullenberger, Chesley – US Airways pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, recently interviewed for the upcoming NBC’s People of the Year television special, told Matt Lauer that his handling of the Hudson River crash-landing got him “rock star sex.” Although, if we’re being honest, Chesley Sullenberger’s interpretation of “rock star sex” is an early dinner at Boston Market, some cuddling during NCIS and a little slow dancing to The Very Best of Johnny Mathis. Go get ‘em, tiger.

Tequila, Tila — The renowned television actress is threatening legal action against a website which recently publicized a sex tape of Tequila that she claims was stolen from her laptop over two years ago. Tequila decried the theft as “an invasion of privacy — I mean, just because it was on my laptop, and labeled TilaHasSex.mpg and left on the counter of the men’s room the New York City Port Authority with the file open doesn’t mean it should be trotted out for everyone to see. Please make me famous again, everyone. Please.”

Zac Efron was reduced to tears after giving his first audition for of a Peter Pan-inspired project.

The High School Musical actor revealed he was 15 when he cried after being rejected by producers immediately.

“My first audition ever was for this Peter Pan live action show when I was 15 and I”d just done the play Peter Pan so I thought ”who could be better”,” the Daily Star quoted the 22-year-old star as saying.

“I showed up and it was on tape in this tiny room. On stage you speak to the back of the room and you project and Peter Pan is very animated and jumping off things and going crazy so that’’s what I did in the audition, running around and jumping off my chair, singing the lines.

“This woman interrupted me and goes ”you”ve never done this before have you?” and I went ”no” and she went ”okay, you can go” and that was the worst audition ever, ever in my life. I kind of wept about that one,” he added.

Zac Efron was a busy little bee in New York City this week promoting his new film, Me and Orson and Welles. He attended the film’s premiere, stopped by the famous Mercury Theater where his film is set, and dropped in on the Late Show with David Letterman.

I’m actually interested in seeing this film, I think Zac has great potential for a long career and this flick is a step in the right direction.

Miley Cyrus talked to The Morning Mashup about how hot she thinks Zac Efron is. They asked Miley who she thought should have been named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.

Miley responded by saying: “Um, you know who I like, there’s not many things about me that are, like normal teenage girl. But the one like normal teenage girl thing is that I think Zac Efron is the hottest person in the world…I really, really like him. And it’s weird, I’ve kind of talked about it before and been like, it’s weird because he’s my friend…I could call him and be like, whatever. But… I think also the reason that he is so sexy is because he and Vanessa [Hudgens] have been together since the first ‘High School Musical’ and…I think that’s really cool. Because…Zac could get any girl and…all these girls are always like you know, ‘Zac, Zac, Zac!’ and would do whatever, and he is so loyal and… a really good friend and he’ so still the same and I think he’s just like super good looking.”

WOW. I think what Miley said was really cool. And it’s true…He is loyal to Ness. HA!

When life gets nutty, I settle into the ass cheek imprints on my couch and wait it out. Hedging against this lifestyle choice, I recently enrolled my mind in some serious circuit training. Normally I would rely on something practical like sudoku, or Entertainment Weekly online contributors (god bless you Tim Stack), but this fall I called in the big guns, ESL class. Technically, it’s a Gotham humor writing workshop, but I don’t speak literature.

Tuesday, as the class discussed Philip Roth and his Pulitzer Prize (which apparently is not pronounced “Pulll-itzer”), I took a short nap, intermittent with whispers to Jess about Bethenny’s new baby daddy. A few minutes later our instructor Sara turned to me in reverence (disappointment?) and asked whether I’d seen Shakira’s She-wolf video. I had. Who hasn’t? It’s very sexual. I bit my tongue and chose not to inform the class that her new album drops 11/23, a humdinger day of music releases. Will the Latin princess take billboard honors, or will it (more likely) fall to one of the other Diva’s debuting: Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Adam Lambert, or everyone’s favorite Scot, Susan Boyle? It’s a tough race, but I will say that “Wild Horses,” makes me cry, and opens the world to newfound and limitless possibility.

“You’d make a good blogger,” Alanna mentioned, after the Shakira convo stalled, and the completion of pooh-poohing on my piece about Gay America. I know she meant it as compliment, and I took it that way. I’ve learned to manage my own expectations and let’s be honest, my brow sits lower than most. While everyone else perused “The Naked Servant” from 1930-Boring this weekend, I tore through Twilight: New Moon, in French. I find it more complicated than Harry Potter in French, though my Roman Language wizarding vocabulary is well-renowned in some crowds. “On verra a Poudlard!”

“Twilight: New Moon” also hit the silver screens Thursday at midnight, and smashed them into 142 million little pieces. Sort of like Hillary Clinton did with the glass ceiling, except with teen monsters and lust. The real question on my, Tim Stack’s, and the general public’s minds: are we on Team Jacob or Team Edward? I know, Team Edward, but let’s posthulate that  Jacob (Taylor Lautner) had already celebrated his 18th birthday. Makes it much more like Sophie’s Choice than Deal or No Deal, am I right ladies?

The excitement of this mega phenomenon swirled through my head during Tuesday’s class. I looked from Pearl to Adam, Shane to Dan and came to a startling realization. My partners in humor exploration don’t know who Robert Pattinson is. I can say this categorically, because they don’t know who Zac Efron is, and people who don’t know everyone’s favorite wildcat, are not familiar with America’s favorite head of hair.

I’ve come to accept this even if I don’t approve. My only issue is how can one touch the souls of mainstream pop culture in America if they don’t really know what makes them tick? I know all about that. I even know it in the world’s fifth most handy language. I could travel to parts of Francophone Africa speaking of Bella and Edward and their vampire love and how it relates to my life and be understood. Can you even put value on a talent like that?

My prestigious classmates run a different course than I do, and their eloquent words go in one ear and out the other. I may not speak their language, but I can out pop-culture them any day. In the words of the wonderful SuBo and iconic (and aged) Rolling Stones, “wild horses couldn’t drag me away.”

Keep your Pulitzers, I’ll take a People’s Choice.
