S Majou sme si konečne sadli a spísali čo sme sa na začiatku leta dozvedeli od Zadkiela. Maja sa raz zobudila s jeho menom v mysli, spýtala sa ma či mi to meno niečo hovorí. Zadkiel sa jej “držal” až pokým sme si nesadli a nespojili sa s ním. Bolo toho veľa osobného, poukázal nám ktoré oblasti v našom živote stoja pred zmenou. Lepšie povedané, bolo to skôr ako keby povedal: “S touto situáciou nie si spokojná, cesta ktorou teraz ideš ťa nepovedie k želanému výsledku. Zmeň smer.”

If you’ve already seen the movie adaptation of this comic starring Nicholas Cage, you’ve probably made up your mind a long time ago to never take a chance on this book for as long as you may live.  I can’t blame you; I still have nightmares about Cage’s hair plugs spontaneously combusting.  But when I first read that Jason Aaron would be coming on board to revamp the title, my interest was fiercely piqued.  I was already an avid fan of Aaron’s gritty work on the Native American crime comic Scalped, and admired his command of tough, noir dialogue and uncompromising characterization.  Could Aaron bring that same sensibility to a struggling franchise like this?  The answer, I confirmed after reading this later volume of his run on the title, is a resounding hell yes!

Aaron’s tale shakes up Ghost Rider’s status quo by revealing (in the excellent trade paperback “Hell Bent and Heaven Bound”) that Johnny Blaze was not, in fact, an agent of the devil but rather a tool of the rogue angel, Zadkiel; in his bid to overthrow Heaven.  As “Last Stand” begins, Blaze’s quest for answers and justice puts him in the crosshairs of his own brother Danny Ketch, a former Ghost Rider himself who has been crossing the globe killing foreign Ghost Riders (you didn’t think Blaze was the only one on the planet to bear that mantle, did you?) to fulfill his own mysterious agenda.  Blaze, along with the gun-toting Caretaker, Sister Sara, meets the surviving Spirits of Vengeance deep in the jungles of Africa to plan their final assault against Zadkiel before he and his forces start knock, knock, knocking on Heaven’s door.  Sorry, couldn’t resist.

What makes Aaron’s run on this title, and especially in this volume, so much fun is that he abandons many of the melodramatic, moody trappings that have turned me off this book for so long. Instead, he embraces a tone that is bawdy, rough-edged, and delightfully lewd.  In short, he’s turned Ghost Rider into a grindhouse comic.  Every page is saturated in lurid entertainment, from shotgun-wielding nuns to elephants blazing with hellfire, right on through to Mr. Blaze himself, striding across the panels with a cocky and reckless attitude, as he purses a vicious cycle of overwhelming odds.

Aaron is aided in his efforts by the unique renderings of Huat and dynamic colors of Villarrubia, a creative team whose distorted, unsettling art style would look inappropriate on a more conventional superhero comic, but seems right at home on a dark, supernatural title like this.  When I first looked at their splash page of the Tibetan Ghost Rider, I grinned like a madman with all the fun I was having with this book.

From cover to cover, “The Last Stand” is solid entertainment that hits all the right notes; and more importantly, it succeeds in getting me interested in reading more about Ghost Rider.  If a graphic novel can achieve that, I’d say buying it was money well spent, wouldn’t you?

GHOST RIDERS: HEAVEN’S ON FIRE 1 (of 6) by Jason Aaron and Roland Boschi

I guess this miniseries is the beginning of the end.  Of Jason Aaron’s incredible run on GHOST RIDER.  And hopefully not the end of the world.  I got in late on Aaron’s run, but ended up tracking down all his issues by the start of his “Last Stand of the Spirits of Vengeance” storyline.  Basically, this miniseries starts where the main Ghost Rider storyline left off– with disgruntled angel Zadkiel successfully leading a violent coup of Heaven.  Now at the start of this installment, entitled “Save the Antichrist, Save the World” (a fucked-up nod to the “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World” arc of tv’s HEROES), Zadkiel tries to protect his reign in Heaven by trying to assassinate the Antichrist, invalidating the End Times as prophesied in the Book of Revelation.  If successful, this would ensure Zadkiel’s brutal regime in Heaven.  So yeah, meet the new boss; worse than the old boss. 

There is a healthy amount of doom and gloom here, but Aaron does a wonderful job tempering it with a wicked sense of humor.  The Satanist plot to create the Antichrist involved  the selective breeding of “prostitutes, sexual deviants, serial killers, psychopaths, cannibals, CEOs.” And Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze’s search for said Antichrist leads him through capital cities of EVIL like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Washington DC– finally ending up at Wall Street where the young Satan Jr. has risen up the ranks to become one of “the shrewdest, most cutthroat” investment bankers (in no less than two weeks).

The art team pretty much rocked this issue– that’s Roland Boschi on pencils and inks, with Dan Brown on colors.  Boschi’s bold, dynamic art falls somewhere between John Romita Jr. and  Sean Phillips.  Dan Brown’s colors have amazing texture and vitality–a welcome break from the super-clean, photoshop, airbrush hack coloring that’s been so pervasive in mainstream comics lately.  So yeah, top to bottom, this is one of the best things Marvel has going right now.  Nuff said.

Ghost Rider #34

It’s been a long time since I reviewed any comics (so much going on), and I’m still a bit behind in my readings, but I wanted to take the time share my thoughts on Marvels latest incarnation of the Spirit of Vengeance, Ghost Rider.

The current series (believe it or not is credited as volume 6) has wrapped up it’s Zadkiel arc ending in #32, and it looks as if Danny Ketch now the Ghost Rider again and writer  Jason Aaron with artist Tony Moore perhaps may be taking the book in a new direction.

After the culimation of such a long and convulted Zadkiel arc, this issue is a self-contained ‘fun’ issue that just stars Danny Ketch in the title role what the reader can imagine as only a few days or weeks after the issue #32.  It’s a bit unclear the exact passage of time, but it isn’t central to this story.  Danny realizes he was duped as Zadkiel’s agent in rounding up and destroying all the other Ghost Rider’s around the globe, and only has a fraction of the power he just had. 

Here Danny runs across the path of a Hillbilly Trucker who made a deal with a devil to sell his own soul so that he could continue to compete in today’s job market.  I know, I know…it’s sounds very lame up front, but the origin of the Trucker is actually done pretty well and within only a few panels.  It reminds you of the old ghost stories you heard around the campfire as a little kid…a legend of horrific fun.

There is the obligatory fight between the Trucker (with his truck no doubt) and Ghost Rider.  The action is tight and fast and Tony Moore’s art is really done well within the panels.  When Danny turns into Ghost Rider, the artwork on this alone give a whole new realization of the transformation process and you can imagine how brutal it is on the human host. 

The fight itself needs to be understood as fun, because you’ll need to set aside a little realism when your eyebrows cock that an 18-wheeler rig has the same hadnling and pickup speed of Danny’s cycle.  If you can get past that, supernaturally powered or not, you’ll have a good time.  The ending is good and a bit of a throwback to the old 70’s style B horror movies, and there a little gem surprise in the ‘end credits’ if you will.  I won’t spoil it here, but there was a little easter egg on the very last page.

I give this issue a 4 out of 5 for its art and fun value.

Now putting all the above aside I have a gripe and a concern.  My concern is that I think the regular run of this series may be ending with issue #35, and then launch into a 6 part miniseries and may continue thereafter as a ‘mini-series’ typ eof title.  That bums me out, because Ghost Rider has so much potential, and has had some good history and creativity under it’s belt, but it just can’t seem to get traction over at Marvel for the long haul.  They try and try with this title and it inevitably gets cut way before its time.  Maybe this sould be a ‘Max’ title, or bi-monthly until readers can appreciate this cast of characters.

Now my gripe:  Volume 6 started with Johnny escaping from ‘the’ Hell itself and having to defeat ‘the’ Lucifer (i.e. Satan…the antithesis of God).  After the first year Johnny not only put the Devil down, he also goes toe-to-toe with the Hulk (see World War Hulk crossover) and hold his own.  Then somewhere around the Zadkiel arc starting up, Johnny teams up with multiple versions of GR from around the globe and get defeated by Zadkeil?  WTF?  So Johnny can beat Satan, but can’t beat Zadkiel with the helps of others?  So is Zadkiel more powerful than Satan, the father of all sin and evil?  Yeah, I know this is a comic, but something just doesn’t seem to jive here….How did Zadkiel outsmart both heaven and Lucifer and defeat so many other Rider’s.  If you’re going to go that route, then you need to retcon Lucifer or change the story outcome somehow….this just doesn’t work in the overall mythos of the Marvel Universe, and that of our own to boot.

I received the following email from a correspondent on the subject of angelic “healing”. My response is below the question.

Subject: Calling the “Archangel Michael” during “healing”
A co-worker stumbled upon your site and after reading some of it, it got me thinking about something that I’ve taken part in. It sounds a lot like what you are describing as “healing involving angels”. I’ve been having severe headaches and a friend told me about a person that does NMT – neuro modulation technique. Have you ever heard of it? It has to do with a person’s energy. I don’t know anything about this “energy” stuff, except that I do believe people have or give off some positive/negative energy. And maybe “energy” is not the right word, but that’s what everyone’s always called it.

Anyway, the main reason I ask is because during our 3rd session, she called upon Archangel Michael to protect me while we were doing a certain part. I grew up Baptist, so calling on angels was something new to me. I’ve always been told to pray to God. So of course, this threw up a major red flag. Plus, she told me that I needed to call on my angels for help. BUT, that was the only thing that had seemed to be off the wall so I didn’t say anything. Like I said, angels weren’t something really discussed so I thought maybe I had just missed out on something. Does this lady sound like what you are describing as “healing involving angels”? Like I said, that was the only thing really odd. We didn’t talk or call on any dead people and she never mentioned Archangels again. My headaches have eased and I shouldn’t have to see her again, but I don’t want to recommend her either especially if it is of a “demonic” nature. May I get your opinion please? I appreciate any help.

peace of Christ be with you always.

I don’t know a great deal about the specific therapy you mention, neuro modulation technique. The impression I get from reading about it is that it’s a natural healing technique. However what you describe as having taken place is quite worrisome. The rest of what I write concerns the angel references, not the neuro modulation technique itself.

(btw it’s true people “give off” energy. After all, our bodies are composed of electrical particles, and there’s also the magnetic effect to consider. What the New Age therapists do to promote their business is to say that the existence of this energy (our electrical and chemical reactions) points to a “universal life force” or Qi, and it goes downhill from there.)

If the therapist said to call on your angels for help, that is indeed a red flag. It is perfectly in order from a Catholic pespective to call on God’s Holy Angels for help. BUT they are not OUR angels. They are God’s, and they do His work; they are not our servants, but obey God’s will. We are only assigned one angel, our guardian angel, from birth, and he/she will never lead you away from Christ. I have no doubt this therapist never mentioned Jesus during her sessions. If she speaks of angels not in connection with Christ and sin and redemption, then watch out. I also do not believe the Michael she called on was the Archangel. Remember that New Agers have their own set of “archangels” they call on, but these are not the Holy Helpers of God.

So in summary I’d say stay well away from this group. If possible, print out this page and give it to others in the group if you can.

Here is what the Catechism of the Catholic Church has to say on this demonic subject:

2116 All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to “unveil” the future.48 Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.
2117 All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one’s service and have a supernatural power over others – even if this were for the sake of restoring their health – are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. These practices are even more to be condemned when accompanied by the intention of harming someone, or when they have recourse to the intervention of demons. Wearing charms is also reprehensible. Spiritism often implies divination or magical practices; the Church for her part warns the faithful against it. Recourse to so-called traditional cures does not justify either the invocation of evil powers or the exploitation of another’s credulity.

What Angels actually do

In actual fact, the primary purpose of angels is to serve God and to act as messengers in God’s dealing with mankind.

From the Catholic Encyclopedia: Angels we read:

Attendants at God’s throne
“It is as messengers that they most often figure in the Bible, but, as St. Augustine, and after him St. Gregory, expresses it: angelus est nomen officii (“angel is the name of the office”) and expresses neither their essential nature nor their essential function, viz.: that of attendants upon God’s throne in that court of heaven of which Daniel has left us a vivid picture:

I behold till thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days sat: His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like clean wool: His throne like flames of fire: the wheels of it like a burning fire. A swift stream of fire issued forth from before Him: thousands of thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times a hundred thousand stood before Him: the judgment sat and the books were opened. (Daniel 7:9-10; cf. also Psalm 96:7; Psalm 102:20; Isaiah 6, etc.)
This function of the angelic host is expressed by the word “assistance” (Job, i, 6: ii, 1), and our Lord refers to it as their perpetual occupation (Matt., xviii, 10). More than once we are told of seven angels whose special function it is thus to “stand before God’s throne” (Tob., xii, 15; Apoc., viii, 2-5).

The angels of the Bible generally appear in the role of God’s messengers to mankind. They are His instruments by whom He communicates His will to men, and in Jacob’s vision they are depicted as ascending and descending the ladder which stretches from earth to heaven while the Eternal Father gazes upon the wanderer below. It was an angel who found Agar in the wilderness (Gen., xvi); angels drew Lot out of Sodom; an angel announces to Gideon that he is to save his people; an angel foretells the birth of Samson (Judges, xiii), and the angel Gabriel instructs Daniel (Dan., viii, 16), though he is not called an angel in either of these passages, but “the man Gabriel” (9:21). The same heavenly spirit announced the birth of St. John the Baptist and the Incarnation of the Redeemer, while tradition ascribes to him both the message to the shepherds (Luke, ii, 9), and the most glorious mission of all, that of strengthening the King of Angels in His Agony (Luke 22:43).

Personal guardians

Throughout the Bible we find it repeatedly implied that each individual soul has its tutelary angel. Thus Abraham, when sending his steward to seek a wife for Isaac, says: “He will send His angel before thee” (Genesis 24:7). The words of the ninetieth Psalm which the devil quoted to our Lord (Matt., iv, 6) are well known, and Judith accounts for her heroic deed by saying: “As the Lord liveth, His angel hath been my keeper” (xiii, 20). These passages and many like them (Gen., xvi, 6-32; Hosea, xii, 4; III K., xix, 5; Acts, xii, 7; Ps., xxxiii, 8), though they will not of themselves demonstrate the doctrine that every individual has his appointed guardian angel, receive their complement in our Saviour’s words: “See that you despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you that their angels in Heaven always see the face of My Father Who is in Heaven” (Matt, xviii, 10), words which illustrate the remark of St. Augustine: “What lies hidden in the Old Testament, is made manifest in the New”. Indeed, the book of Tobias seems intended to teach this truth more than any other, and St. Jerome in his commentary on the above words of our Lord says: “The dignity of a soul is so great, that each has a guardian angel from its birth.”

“…It is their privilege to announce to Zachary and Mary the dawn of Redemption, and to the shepherds its actual accomplishment. Our Lord in His discourses talks of them as one who actually saw them, and who, whilst “conversing amongst men”, was yet receiving the silent unseen adoration of the hosts of heaven. He describes their life in heaven (Matt., xxii, 30; Luke, xx, 36); He tell us how they form a bodyguard round Him and at a word from Him would avenge Him on His enemies (Matt., xxvi, 53); it is the privilege of one of them to assist Him in His Agony and sweat of Blood. More than once He speaks of them as auxiliaries and witnesses at the final judgment (Matt., xvi, 27), which indeed they will prepare (ibid., xiii, 39-49); and lastly, they are the joyous witnesses of His triumphant Resurrection (ibid., xxviii, 2).”

A look at the relevant paragraphs from the Catechism of the Catholic Church gives the following summary of the angels’ mission and purpose:

331 (the angels have Christ as the centre of their angelic world. – all things were created through him and for him.” They are also messengers of his saving plan: “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to serve, for the sake of those who are to obtain salvation?”)
332 (Service anouncement of salvation; protection of Lot, Hagar, announcement of births and callings)
333 (adoration and service to the Word made Flesh; announcement of the Incarnation and Resurrection)
335 (adoration of God, asking angels to lead deceased souls into paradise)
336 (protection and shepherding of angels).

Some terms which will automatically tell you that you are dealing with new age demons.

Archangels A Christian term, but with a demonic meaning in New Age circles.

The New Age archangels are very different from the archangels of the Bible. The new age (demonic) archangels, who have feminine counterparts, called archeiai. These archangels supposedly heal a person’s “four lower bodies”  – etheric, mental, emotional and physical. Quite what is meant by “etheric” is anyone’s guess. But one thing is for sure, God’s archangels do not go about healing people’s “etheric” bodies. The New Age archangels do not worship God at His throne, in fact they do not even acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh. How can anybody believe they are the same archangels as those in the Holy Bible?

Note also that the three archangels mentioned in the Bible (Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael) are NOT master builders of the universe, are NOT surgeons who perform healing on our bodies and souls, do NOT expand “spiritual light” or transmit light to us. And they do NOT transfer energy to us in any way, shape, or form. In addition, the true archangels do NOT use vibrations to transform matter with “divine consciousness”. And archangels do NOT have female counterparts. Sacred Scriptue says that after the resurrection of the dead, we will neither marry nor given in marriage, but will be like the angels in heaven.

“At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.” Matthew 22:30 (NIV)
Angels are not male or female, they are pure spirit. So much for the new age “archangels and archaeia”.

The New Age “archangels and archeia” have the following names: Michael and Faith, Jophiel and Christine, Chamuel and Charity, Gabriel and Hope, Raphael and Mary, Uriel and Aurora, Zadkiel and Holy Amethyst. In IET, the names of the “healing angels” are Ariel, Raphael, Gabriel, Celestina, Faith, Cassiel, Daniel, Sarah, and Michael.
Whenever you see these names appear, beware, you are dealing with demons, not archangels who serve God.

Ascended masters Ascended masters are supposedly multiply-reincarnated enlightened spiritual beings, who once lived on earth, they now dwell in heaven, or, as some New Agers prefer to call it, the “etheric octave”. There is of course, no mention of God in this “etheric octave”. Note that Jesus, Mary and Moses are often included as examples “ascended masters”; proof yet again, if need be, that the “Jesus” of New Age practises is not the Jesus of the Bible, Who is God Made Man, and not some multiply-reincarnated spirit.

The Great White Brotherhood   This is the new age equivalent of the “communion of saints”. However, they are demons, not saints. The Ascended Masters are part of the hierarchy of beings known as the Great White Brotherhood, a spiritual order of Western saints and Eastern masters. These “ascended masters” are alleged to have ascended like Jesus Christ at the end of His earthly ministry.

Of course, as Christians we know that Christ ascended into Heaven by His Divine power. What New Agers are basically saying is that these alleged “ascended masters” have a “divine power” by which they ascended to the “etheric octave” after their time on earth. This is little more than a parody of the Ascension of Christ.

New agers go on to describe the “great white brotherhood” as the saints of Revelation chapter 7. Even a casual reading of Revelation will show that the saints of Revelation 7 are saints who worship God continally in His Throne. The “great white brotherhood”, in contrast, does not worship God and does not acknowledge Jesus Christ as God made Man. How on earth can New Agers claim the “great white brotherhood” has any relation whatsoever with the saints of God? The “great white brotherhood”  is a demonic counterfeit, make no mistake about it.

Chohans Chohan is a term that is used to mean “lord” or “master” and a specific chohan presides over each of the seven rays. Eight of the ascended masters dealing most closely with mankind are called the “chohans of the rays”. The seven chohans are El Morya , Lanto, Paul the Venetian, Serapis Bey Hilarion Nada Saint Germain. The Maha Chohan is the head of the seven chohans. These seven chohans have, supposedly, been reincarnated many times on earth.

How can any Christian posssibly think there is nothing wrong with dealing with these demonic beings?

“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 2 Peter 5:8 (NIV)

“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft” Deuteronomy 18:10 (NIV)

“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned.”Galatians 1:8

Other Methods of Psychic Protection

With all psychic and spiritual exercises, if you do what feels right for you, it is more likely to work for you. By our choices, we come to know who we really are. If you have a sudden flash of inspiration, go with it! Be creative and pay attention to what you feel comfortable and safe with. These are additional methods of psychic protection.  

Surrounding yourself in a gold light will provide very high protection as gold is the highest healing colour.  

If you resonate with Angelic energies, you may want to call upon the four Archangels for additional protection. Ask Archangel Michael, Gabriel, Raphiel and Uriel to surround you on all sides and wrap their wings around you protectively. You may find if you do this regularly that they change their positions around you each time, depending on what you are doing and which angel is most suited to assist you in the task that you are doing at the time. You can also call on an additional 2 angels, such as Jophiel and Zadkiel, to protect you above and below (or even a whole host of angels if it helps) Even if you perceive that an Angel isn’t traditionally called upon for protection, but you feel inclined to ask, again go for it –  they are not confined to the traditional roles which they have come to be known by and may be moon-lighting on your behalf.

Especially effective for protection against negativity from other people, such as those who you allow to drain you (the so-called ‘psychic vampires’) is the solar plexus cross which can be drawn over the upper stomach area.     Particularly empowering is the gold solar plexus cross in this area as the colour will also work on healing the solar plexus and our own empowerment, control issues and emotional boundaries. Psychic vampires can only drain us if we let them; it’s a two way process.

If you are attuned to Kundalini Reiki or Ethereal Crystal’s, you may wish to surround yourself in a bubble of diamond reiki or a huge ethereal diamond. An attunement to Gold Reiki can also help you to deal with your own negativity. Crystals such as black tourmaline, tourmalinated quartz, diamond, black obsidian, amethyst, chlorite, rutilated quartz, ruby and aqua aura can all provide protection from psychic attack, especially when they are programmed for this specific use.  A small tumblestone can be bought which can be placed in your pocket, a crystal bracelet, or a pendant containing it worn around the neck.

Traditional protective symbols, such as the cross or the pentagram can be worn as a necklace. Prayers and chanting can provide immediate protection and the Lord’s Prayer is something many of us might automatically associate with providing protection for us. Chanting words such as ”Kadosh Kadosh Kadosh Adonai Sabaoth‘ and those of the Silver Violet Flame mantra can be effective for diverting your mental focus from negativity.

If you suspect psychic attack, i.e. bad vibes coming from another person, you can also surround yourself with mirrors to deflect the energy back to where it has come from. You may also want to visualise yourself in a lead bubble, or visualise a lead shield.  Be aware that you are also responsible for the way that you perceive things and on some level, depending on your beliefs, you may have invited this experience with the other person, into your life, to enable you to learn something. By taking responsibility for the part that we play within each experience, we can begin to take back our own control over situations and learn to begin to master our own emotional reactions, such as anger and bitterness, which may well be felt by the other person on some level.

Protection isn’t always about complete prevention and sitting back and doing nothing, there is an active component to it too.  I am often reminded about acting in the moment upon the fleeting thoughts such as ‘back up my files on the pc’ or ‘don’t go down that road’ or ‘lock the back door right now’, and by taking action on our intuition, on those fleeting thoughts, we can potentially save ourselves so much time, or heartache, at a later date.

The Story: Having learned that the spirit of vengeance is actually a weapon of heaven bonded to him by the renegade angel, Zadkiel– who in turn is preparing to overthrow Heaven, Johnny Blaze travels to the mountains of Tibet to exact his revenge on the angel. He then discovers that there are many different versions of the Ghost Rider all over the world, and that they are being pursued by Danny Ketch, Blaze’s long lost brother, who is at the center of Zadkiel’s plans.

The Good: Jason Aaron delivers a streamlined revamp of the title that is engaging and fun to read.  In a few well-written pages of recap narration, I understood the plot and what happened in earlier issues, never feeling lost.  The artistic pairing of Tan Eng Huat and Jose Villarrubia is a revelation, and I hope to see more from them soon.  Huat has a gritty style that reminds me of Kevin O’Neill, and is perfectly complimented by Villarrubia’s dynamic colors, which make the the flames on Ghost Rider’s skull literally burn right off the page.

The Not So Good: The idea of multiple versions of the Ghost Rider existing wasn’t terribly original or exciting, since Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction had already explored the notion with Immortal Iron Fist.  While this doesn’t imply that Aaron can’t use the idea as well and make it his own,  I felt like he was trying to make the concept more exciting than I thought it deserved to be.

Conclusion: Wow, I was not expecting to like this issue as much as I did!  Jason Aaron and Tan Eng Huat have done the impossible and convinced me to actually care about Ghost Rider with a plot that is friendly to new readers and some dynamic, quality art.  My only problem now is tracking down all his back issues!

Keďže P*veras sa nám na dlhší čas odmlčala, rozhodla som sa jej zafušovať do remesla – a to v okamihu, keď som chodila po internete a našla niečo do “anjelskej” tématiky. Autorka návodu je Angela McGerr. Mám viacero jej kníh a hoci s jej angelológiou celkom nesúhlasím (myslím, že hodne pracuje s gnostickými anjelmi a z môjho “veliteľa” urobila dokonca babu ), nápad sa mi pozdáva a preto som sa rozhodla spracovať ho.

Pri problémoch s konkrétnou jednou čakrou odporúča McGerrová použiť farebné dýchanie a anjelské afirmácie. Na stránke to nie je presne popísané, ale predpokladám, že pri “farebnom dýchaní” ide o uvoľnené dýchanie a vizualizovanie danej farby, ako ju nadýchavame a umiestňujeme do danej čakry. Aspoň ja by som to tak urobila. McGerrová odporúča robiť cvičenie denne a s pocitom pohody a lásky.

Začíname naším “spodným ja” a anjelmi Camaelom, Urielom a Rafaelom, potom prejdeme do srdca s anjelmi Hanielom, Fuelom a Gabrielom a do “vyššieho ja”, najprv v oblasti hrdelnej čakry, ktorá je vstupom do tretej anjelskej sféry (s anjelmi Michaelom a Zadkielom). Potom pracujeme s Tretím okom (anjeli Ariel a Melchizedek) a vytvárame vnútorný “makrokozmos” (tu mám problém, lebo ak je to vnútri, malo by to byť “mikrokozmos”, ale McGerrová to použila takto), ktorý nás spája s inými dimenziami a druhou anjelskou sférou. Nakoniec dych do korunnej čakry a “mikrokozmu” (tu by som to zasa použila naopak) využíva anjelov Stromu života Metatrona a Shekinah a spája nás s prvou anjelskou sférou, prehlbuje naše spojenie s Božským a dáva nám možnosť dosiahnuť univerzálnu harmóniu.

Afirmácie pre toto cvičenie

Koreňová čakra a červená farba budujú pevný základ pre lepšiu budúcnosť. “Ako vlievam energiu, bezpečnosť a stabilitu do svojho života, cítim, že mám nad ním kontrolu.”

Sakrálna čakra a oranžová farba (“oheň tisícky sĺnc”) prinášajú zmenu. “Ako vo mne horí oheň kreativity, inovujem a premieňam.”

Solárny plexus a žltá farba pomáhajú uspieť v tom, čo sme si predsavzali. “Vôľou a rozumom zažínam silu svojho vnútorného slnka.”

Obe srdcové čakry (fyzická i emocionálna, “vyššia”) a z farieb si predstavujeme najprv smaargdovozelenú alebo akvamarínovú farbu vody lásky, ktorá vyhojuje osobné problémy so srdcovými záležitosťami. Potom si predstavujeme ružovú farbu, ktorá otvára srdce ako kalich kvetu pre bezpodmienečnú, nadosobnú lásku. “Ako vody života hoja moje srdce, vykvitá v ňom bezpodmienečná láska a akceptácia.” (McGerrová používa “súcit”; ja som ho nahradila slovom “akceptácia”, pretože poznám ľudí, ktorí dokážu svoj súcit vnucovať iným aj vtedy, keď oň tí druhí vôbec nestoja.)

Hrdelná čakra a modrá farba (väčšina iných zdrojov tu využíva belasú alebo aqua modrú) nás vedie k osobnej a absolútnej pravde. “Mečom Pravdy privádzam hojnosť, múdrosť a slobodu.”

Tretie oko a purpurová farba (väčšina iných zdrojov s Tretím okom spája indigivimodrú) predstavuje našu psychickú linku k iným realitám. “Silou Zeme, Vzduchu a Ducha pretrhávam závoj a odhaľujem každú ilúziu.”

Korunná čakra a čisté biele svetlo (v iných zdrojoch a fialová farba) sú spirituálnym prepojením k Univerzálnej Harmónii. “Cez korunnú čakru prehlbujem svoje spojenie s Božským a nachádzam Univerzálnu Harmóniu.”

Ich wurde heute gefragt, ob ich nicht auch einmal etwas über den aufgestiegenen Meister Saint Germain schreiben würde.

Ich habe ihn gefragt, er ist einverstanden und hier ist sein Beitrag:

Geliebte, wie schön ist es doch, den Fortschritt eines jeden von Euch zu sehen und wie schön ist es, jeden Tag den Blick schweifen zu lassen und das gesamte Bild zu erleben, das sich weltweit ergibt. Viele von Euch wissen, daß diese Zeit deshalb besonders ist, weil sie – volkstümlich – Zeit des Endes genannt wird. Ich aber sage Euch: Es ist die Zeit des Anfangs. Ihr habt bereits die Schwelle des Endes überschritten, jeder von Euch, der das liest, hat diese Schwelle bereits hinter sich.  Die Frage, die wir immer wieder sehen, ist jene danach, was nun zu Ende sein soll, womit man neu anfängt. Viele von Euch glauben an eine Art himmlisches Donnerwetter, ein zerschlagen der alten Strukturen und vor allem glauben immer noch viele, daß die “Bösen” vernichtet würden, während die “Guten” im Paradies auf Erden leben. Nun, im entfernten Sinne íst auch genau das der Fall – in sehr entferntem Sinne.

Wir bewerten Euch nicht in gut und böse. Diese Wertung ist dual, die geistige Welt befindet sich in ihrer Sichtweise außerhalb der Dualität und “hier” gibt es weder gut noch böse. Um genau zu sein gibt es nicht einmal ein “hier” oder “wir”. Auch wenn ihr das vielleicht nicht versteht. Würden wir aber eine Wertung über Eucht treffen, so fiele diese auch nicht in gut und böse aus, weil keinem von Euch eine derartige Wertung gerecht ist. Auch wenn ihr das vielleicht nicht glaubt.

Für Euch sind folgende Aussagen sehr wichtig:

1) Ihr seid alle unendlich geliebt.

2) Ihr seid alle wertvoll.

3) Ihr habt jeden Tag Hilfe und bekommt die Unterstützung, die ihr möchtet.

4) Ihr seid niemals allein, ungeliebt, verlassen, arm, hilflos oder verstoßen.

Viele Lichtwesen meines Strahls sind inkarniert, viele haben inzwischen mehr als 30 Jahre auf der Erde gelebt und bei vielen wird es von Tag zu Tag turbulenter. Mitunter treffen die violetten unter Euch immer mehr auf Lügen und Intrigen. Und immer mehr von Euch dürfen erkennen, in welchen Situationen ihr selbst noch lügt und intrigiert. Das ist nicht schlimm oder schlecht, sondern wichtig, es zu erkennen. Mit dem Auflösen und transformieren dieser Energien tragt ihr zur weltweiten Erhöhung der Schwingung ganz erheblich bei. Dabei ist es unwichtig, ob ihr Euch selbst beim Schwindeln erwischt, Eurem Nächsten das Lügen verzeiht oder abends vor dem Fernseher erkennt, wer da gerade was gesagt hat – und was wer wirklich gemeint hat.

Verurteilt Euch selbst niemals – und hört auf, andere zu verurteilen.

Zu jenen, die nicht von meinem Strahl sind: Auch für Euch ist diese Zeit anspruchvoll, ein jeder Strahl bringt seine eigene Klarheit und seine eigenen Aufgaben mit sich. Auch ihr seid von uns hoch geachtet und unendlich geliebt. Doch zu Euch wird zu gegebener Zeit Euer Strahllenker sprechen.

Nun noch einmal für alle: Diese Zeit ist deshalb so wichtig, weil sie der Anfang ist. Der Anfang eines neuen Bewusstseins. Es wird keinen himmlischen Racheakt geben, der schlagartig alles vernichtet, was Euch nicht gefällt. Ihr werdet Liebe in die Welt tragen, dafür seid ihr da. Ihr tragt sie bereits in allen möglichen Aspekten in die Welt und dieses Werk wird sich fortsetzen und Früchte tragen.

Im Moment habt Ihr noch zu tun mit vielen menschlichen Emotionen, mit Angst und Wut, Zorn und Verzweiflung. Diese aufzulösen, in das zu transformieren, was es eigentlich ist, ist Eure Aufgabe, ein jeder mit seinen Talenten.  Die violette Flamme transformiert für Euch alle Unreinheiten, alle dunklen Emotionen. Ruft diese Flamme auf, spürt sie durch die Handchakren aufsteigen, laßt zu, daß sie Euch, Eure Emotionen, Eure unterdrückte Wut und Angst durchdringt und erkennt, was es eigentlich ist. Dann laßt los.

Der Erzengel Zadkiel und ich arbeiten mit Euch, wir sind für Euch da und helfen, wenn Ihr uns ansprecht.

Nun noch ein Paar Worte von mir, Anke. Als ich heute nach dem Beitrag über Saint Germain gefragt wurde und als ich ihn fragte, ob ich etwas schreiben dürfte dachte ich, ich würde meine Erfahrung mit ihm und der Flamme wieder geben. Dass er hier selbst zu Worte kommen wollte, habe ich nicht abgesehen, ich habe mich aber sehr gefreut, auch wenn ich mehrmals gefragt habe, ob ich das wirklich hier veröffentlichen soll. Ich kenne und arbeite bereits seit 4 Jahren mit der violetten Flamme und mit dem aufgsetiegenen Meister Saint Germain. Wer vielleicht einen Erfahrungsaustausch oder Unterstützung möchte, darf mich gerne anschreiben.
