Hollywood’s most glamorous couple is headed for Splitsville, according to a blockbuster book, “Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie” (Transit), out Tuesday. Author Ian Halperin, who spoke to 900 sources to build a “true picture” of the pair, talked exclusively to The Post about his most sensational findings.

It was 2004, just weeks before shooting was to begin on the action flick “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” when Angelina Jolie happened to visit the set of the hit show “Friends.”

“Brad is so excited to be working with you,” Jennifer Aniston told her husband’s new co-star. “I hope you guys have a really good time.”

They certainly did. Less than a year later, Brad Pitt and Jolie would pose for W magazine in a spread called “Domestic Bliss.” Real-life romance soon followed, as modern Hollywood’s most famous love triangle played out in the tabloids. Eventually, Pitt would leave Aniston and take up with Jolie, jetting to red carpets and orphanages around the world.

It was the electrifying love-making that brought Brangelina together, says Halperin, who followed the couple for five years to prepare to write his book. “Brad had never had such incredible sex,” Halperin says. “My sources say that they sometimes spent 18 to 20 hours a day in bed. But sex eventually wears off.”

ESCALATING TENSIONS

Now, Halperin claims, the couple “argues like cats and dogs — everything from politics to clothes the kids wear and Brad’s ‘atrocious habit,’ which includes pot smoking and alcohol.”

“I talked to several people in Brad’s family who wished they’d break up today. They’re scared for Brad’s safety and his well-being,” he says.

A limo driver who drove Brangelina frequently witnessed them “going at it in the back seat” twice and saw a “U-turn” in their relationship in 2007.

“I was more worried about his safety than hers,” the driver says. “She really flew off the handle, threatening him and lashing out at him. I can’t imagine how anyone would want to be with her every day, no matter how sexy she is. She has a temper like a cobra.”

A woman who worked with Pitt while he was filming “Troy” told Halperin: “They were definitely in love, but that’s where it gets tricky. If you want to know if they’re still together, the answer depends on when you ask the question.

“I’ve heard that they’ve broken up so many times it would make your head spin.

“There are apparently screaming matches, usually with her doing the screaming. Nobody really witnesses that part of it — they just see him leaving in a huff. But then he ends up coming back again, and nobody knows what happened to bring him back.”

CHEATING AND DRUGS

Pitt may have cheated on Jolie, according to Halperin’s book.

The most persistent story that crops up time and again involves Pitt and a beautiful Sudanese model, Amma, whom he met at a benefit for Darfur at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. He was seen with her at least one more time. Jolie has allegedly accused Pitt of cheating on her on more than one occasion, which is one of the reported sources of tension between the two, Halperin writes.

Another tension is Pitt’s pot use, the book states. According to a well-known Hollywood journalist, “[Pitt and Aniston] spent much of their married life stoned. But whereas he was chilled out, she could get pretty paranoid.”

Word has it that Angelina Jolie is taking steps to adopt a child from Syria. (Rumor also has it this is a solo venture. Does that imply she and Brad are breaking up? A topic for another day.)

If she succeeds, the new kid will join Maddox, Pax, Zahara (the adopted Pitt-Jolies), Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne (the biologicals), and will send the celebrity rags into a tizzy! (Hey, it’s been a while since we got a new Pitt-Jolie.)

A pesar de la suspensión de última hora del concierto de Esser, previsto en la programación del Centro Cultural Ollerías para el próximo miércoles 4 de noviembre, el mes sigue viniendo cargadito de propuestas interesantes, y lo más inquietante es que una parte importante de ellas se concentran el día 14 de noviembre, lo que no nos podemos explicar a no ser que se trate de un experimento sociológico con la población malagueña, pero desde luego es algo que me tiene intrigada. Pero a lo que vamos:

- Kroke (6 de octubre, Teatro Echegaray): este trío polaco inaugura la temporada musical en el Echegaray, interpretando sus carismáticas piezas tradicionales mezcladas con jazz o música instrumental, que le han llevado a compartir escenario con artistas de la talla de Van Morrison o Natacha Atlas. A las 21 h, entradas por 7, 14 o 18€ en generaltickets.

- Pietra Montecorvino (7 de octubre, Teatro Echegaray): y con esta dulce actriz y cantante napolitana continúa la propuesta del Echegaray, que se llenará a partir de las 20 h de sus piezas mediterráneas, elegantes y provocadoras. Entradas por 7, 14 o 18€ en generaltickets.

- The Glenn Miller Orchestra (12 de noviembre, Teatro Cervantes): una de las pocas actuaciones que se pueden salvar de la temporada de este teatro, con una de las big bands más populares del mundo. A las 21 h, entradas de 20 a 60€ en generaltickets.

- Zahara (14 de noviembre, Fnac Málaga Plaza). Desde mi punto de vista, la actuación más recomendable del mes, y encima gratis. Será a partir de las 19 h. ¡Zahara, te queremos!

- The Sunday Drivers (14 de noviembre, Sala Vivero). Y aquí llega el gran dilema. Hace unos días hablábamos de lo que nos gustaba el vídeo de su nuevo single, My Plan, y aquí estarán para presentar su nuevo álbum, The end of maiden trip. Comienza a las 23 h y cuesta 18€ (a la venta en ticketmaster).

- Lemuripop (14 de noviembre, Auditorio Diputación). Y otra propuesta digna de tener en cuenta ese mismo día, con este dúo que cuenta en su historial con la participación en Golpes Bajos o Siniestro Total, o haber colaborado con Alaska y Dinarama, Nacho Cano, Paco Clavel… Será a las 20:30 h y la entrada cuesta 6€ (generaltickets).

- Lito Blues Band (27 de noviembre, Teatro Echegaray). Tras una amplia e internacional trayectoria, José Fernández “Lito”, llega al Echegaray con la banda que lleva su nombre y un extenso repertorio de temas clásicos de blues, soul, r&b y rock –B.B.King, Etta James, Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Scott Henderson, Roben Ford– evolucionando hasta nuestros días, así como otros propios. Será a las 21 h, entradas de 7 a 18€ (generaltickets).

- Dry Martina (28 de noviembre): esta malagueña presenta por fin su disco debut, en que recoge sus canciones a medio camino entre el pop, el soul, el jazz, el swing… lo que cuenta es que al final sus directos son una fiesta (y me consta). A las 20 h, entradas de 7 a 18€ (generaltickets).

Maddox was a dead army soldier, Zahara was Batgirl and Shiloh was a jet fighter. No pictures of Pax and the twins didn’t come out.

The people from Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, found themselves on Halloween as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their children, Zahara, Shiloh and Maddox beat at their doorstep.

Dressed in colorful costumes and wearing make-up, the Pitt-Jolie family came into the holiday spirit and went to gather candy with a pumpkin in their hand.

Brad Pitt was dressed in an orange suit, disguised as DJ Lance Rock from the famous children show “Yo GabbaGabba”. Angelina Jolie has chosen a more radical change. With gray hair and blood on one side of her face, the actress didn’t scare anyone, the contrary, was as attractive as always.

Most happy were the children, Zahara was disguised as Batman, Maddox, who loves guns, was dressed in military clothes, and Shiloh was a little zombie soldier.

- Brad jest przebrany za gospodarza programu dla dzieci, rozbrajają mnie jego wisiorki przyczepione do brody (już coś takiego miał w 2002 roku). Ze spodni wystaje mu różowa szmatka Shiloh

- Angelina i Maddox jako zombies wyglądają cool, szczególnie fajny jest kolor ich włosów i sztuczna krew na twarzy i bluzce Angeliny. Wydaje mi się, że widzę Paxa na pierwszym zdjęciu – idzie tuż za Angeliną ubrany w mundur.

- Zahara jako Batman (BatGirl? ) wygląda kapitalnie, poza tym na pierwszym zdjęciu oczarowały mnie jej wielkie, piękne oczy i regularne rysy twarzy – wyrośnie z niej wspaniała dziewczyna!

- Shiloh najwyraźniej dalej ma fazę “tomboya” i wzorem braci ubrała się w mundur. Widzę na jej czapce skrzydełka, więc pewnie jest amerykańskim pilotem

- Nie wiem co Brad i Angie niosą w swoich szklaneczkach, ale myślę, że za ich poświęcenie należało im się wczoraj coś mocniejszego do picia

When I travel, I like to collect art work.  I have paintings from local artists, small sculptures, carpets and other household items I have collected.

Obviously, I’m behind the times.  Brad and Angelina like to collect children when they travel.  So far they have collected Maddox Chivan, Zahara Marley, Pax Thien and Shiloh Nouvel.  And just to round it out they added two more from the good ol’ United States of America —Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, birthed in France this time by Angelina herself!

When I wandered through the market in Tanzania, and said “oh how gorgeous!” I picked up a watercolor painting.  But when Angelina wanders in Ethiopia and says, “oh how beautiful!” she apparently picks up a child.

Mr. and Mrs. Pitt went to India to pick up a brown one and India told them to forget it.  They went home with a sari or jewelery like the rest of us.  I applaud India for the decision that just said no to Child Collectors.  It’s about time someone told this couple that children are to be cherished and brought into a family to be loved and cared for—not as another publicity stunt.

I’m not against adoption, by any means.  I love my adopted nephews and niece very much.  But they were adopted after much careful consideration and deep soul searching on the part of their parents.

No matter what their publicist says about how “hands on” Brad and Angelina are, you and I both know these kids are dumped with the nanny(s) most of the time, except when they are taken out for an occasional photo op.  And who advocated for the children when they were forced to leave their country and were brought to America (not everyone wants to live here!) to be the collection of  this hunted and don’t-take-pictures-of-us!-wait-i-live-for-fame harassed couple?

I wonder why this couple had to leave their country to collect these children.  Did they think about adopting one of the thousands of children who are in the many fost-adopt programs in America?  Most of these children are no longer babies, or have complications (health or emotional) but are desperately waiting for adoptive parents.  Of course these are not “perfect” children and might not present the proper “we love the world” perspective Brad and Angelina want to portray.  We have so many children in the country who could benefit from an adoptive family.  Doesn’t charity begin at home?

I’m posting about child collection because I have something to say about people who are up in arms about the lady who has seven cats but give Child Collectors a pass.

Ya se sabe. Uno, aunque no lo reconozca, es un cotilla. Pero cotilla del “fíjate, qué curioso…”, que no el “vamos a criticar a no-sé-quién, que se ha liado con…” Aunque en este caso, puede que me incline más por esta segunda opción.

Todo el mundo sabe que lo mejor de la música de este año (en una corriente que empezó hace unos añitos, pero que ahora está dando el pelotazo) es la irrupción de todas esas chicas jóvenes (aunque sobradamente preparadas) que hacen indie-folk-pop-cancióndeautoraparasusurrarenpareja. Además, en la mayoría de casos lo hacen con discos de calidad, algunos con éxito comercial, y todos contentos, porque a veces podemos ir a conciertos de música que nos guste, y además, poder mirar a una chica guapa sobre un escenario -sonará a machista, pero mirar engatusado a chicos tocar llega a aburrir, sobre todo porque, aunque te encargas de apreciar cómo tocan, lo preciosos (y caros) que son sus instrumentos (musicales, mal pensados), joder, que son tíos…-

De esta nueva hornada, destacan Russian Red, La Bien Querida, Anni B Sweet, Alondra Bentley, Boat Beam,o Zahara, que acompañan a otras que ya estaban por aquí (Tulsa, Marina Gallardo, Lidia Damunt, Sevigny…) El caso, es que detrás del éxito de la que abrió el triunfo comercial de este género (Russian Red), y en el de una debutante (Anni B Sweet) está el mismo tipo: Brian Hunt.

Sí, es ese gafapasta cuyas propias lentes han creado más expectación que las promociones Tchin-Tchin de Alain Afflelou. Ya sabéis: Russian Red dice que ‘I love your glasses’, y éste le responde que ‘I lost my glasses’ (echaba de menos una conversación en los discos, como aquella entre Sabina -’Dímelo en la calle’- y Estopa -¿La calle es tuya?-). Sí, fueron pareja, y ahora ya no están juntos. Pero antes les dio tiempo a grabar el disco de ella, y ha conservar una relación lo suficiente buena como para que ella meta voces en el disco de él (genial ‘Led by moses’, y algo menos brillante en ‘Half a packet of bla bla bla’).

El caso es que el chico también le ha producido y grabado el disco a Anni B Sweet, con el que también se rumorea que ha habido tomate. (Y ahora seré malo; ésta es más joven y más jamona ¿exuberante?).
Sí, esto son polémicas típicas de JNSP, qué se le va a hacer.

Pero es que además, el tipo forma parte de Templeton (a mí no me han terminado de convencer: tienen 3 canciones buenas, pero no acabo de congeniar con ellos), y de Half Foot Outside (gru-pa-zo). Y entre tanto ajetreo de “tengo-mis-grupos-de-tíos-con-los-que-hacer-rock” y “mira-qué-chica-más-guapa-haciendo-folk”, va el tío y se casca un disco en solitario. Que me he estado escuchando esta mañana (2 veces), y que no está mal. Sin poder dar aún una opinión fundada, me gusta mucho cómo va dando rodeos al lo-fi, al folk, a la canción de autor americana, incluso al power-pop más contenido, alternando motivos luminosos, con todos esos pensamientos melancólicos que te suelen venir a la mente los domingos a la mañana cuando pretendes poner mirada de intelectual.

Lo mejor: que el tipo tiene talento para desenvolverse con versatilidad en muchos estilos. Que su inglés no parece de Opening. Que parece que está en estado de gracia. Que todavía es joven y puede evolucionar. Que si ya ahora es un “tío-a-seguir-en-el-indie-patrio”, este tío puede ser la bomba.

Lo peor: Que le acabe devorando la fama de ‘gafapasta’. Que algún día las chicas indies y folkies no estén de moda. Que la Rockdelux prefiere a Joe Crepúsculo, los perdedores a Antonna, y él, de momento, sólo parece el “cantautor-para-las-chicas-indies”.

Ah: estad atentos, que en noviembre pasa por Galicia, teloneando a Damien Jurado. Oportunidad fantástica para verlo, aunque a mí no me viene demasiado bien (tocan en Ferrol, Ourense y Vigo…). Y todo lo que haga aquí, serán ‘Galician Postcards’, ¿no?

Todo parece indicar que Angelina Jolie es muy complaciente con los deseos de sus hijas y les da completa libertad para vestirse como les de la gana. Prueba de ello es su hija Shiloh, quien como pueden apreciar en la foto va vestida como si hubiera invadido el clóset de Samantha Ronson, es decir, si no supiera quiénes son TOOOOOOOOOODOS los hijos de Angelina (información inútil en todo su esplendor), juraría que se trata de un varoncito.

No voy a mentir, me parece que Shiloh se ve adorable, pero sólo por su edad, porque cuando gente de más de 16 años usa corbatas de esa manera es ridículo. En cambio su hija Zahara se viste de manera más tradicional y si sigue así seguramente cuando crezca será la sucesora de Tyra Banks. Y algo me dice que en algún momento Angelina intentó que su prole hiciera lo que ella dijera, pero tomando en cuenta que ella y Brad son sólo 2 y los infantes son 6, se dio cuenta que era una batalla inútil, se entristeció y es por eso que desde entonces sólo usa ropa negra.
