Décidément rien n’arrête Maryse Joissains. Après avoir re-gagné in extremis la mairie d’Aix-en-Provence cet été, lorgné sur la candidature UMP aux prochaines régionales, voilà qu’elle emporte une belle victoire médiatique à la barbe de son “ami” Jean-Claude Gaudin : une photo avec Zinedine Zidane !

L’image a provoqué à Marseille comme un séisme digne d’un soir de coupe du monde. Le héros de la Castellane, Zizou, aux côtés de Maryse, a sonné le glas d’un projet de complexe sportif pourtant tant attendu sur les rives du Lacydon. Bataillant depuis plus de deux ans pour l’obtention d’un terrain en vue de construire 7 salles de foot dont un stade central, un centre de remise en forme et une zone de restauration, le champion du monde a finalement jeté son dévolu sur la zone industrielle d’Aix les Milles pour la coquette somme de 4 millions d’euros. Pourquoi a-t-il finalement décidé de s’éloigner d’un quartier qui l’a pourtant vu grandir et dont il ne cesse de rappeler son attachement ?

La mairie de Marseille tergiverse et échoue
Les langues commencent à se délier dans la cité phocéenne et personne ne semble dupe de l’extrême lenteur municipale quant à l’instruction d’un dossier ô combien médiatique. Depuis l’officialisation de l’implantation du Zidane Sport Concept à Aix-en-Provence, les réactions d’indignation ne se sont pas fait attendre tant une occasion comme celle-ci ne se rate pas. On pouvait lire dans La Provence : « A Aix on a compris que quand on a la chance d’avoir Zizou au bout de la ligne, il est bien dommage de raccrocher ».

En effet, initialement prévu aux abords du Centre commercial Grand Littoral, près du quartier qui l’a vu naître, le Zidane Sport Concept risquait de voir le jour sur de véritables sables mouvants. Il faut dire que ce terrain est instable car argileux et a déjà entraîné la fermeture du complexe cinématographique UGC en 1999 en raison de risque d’effondrement. Plus récemment, le festival Marsatac avait décliné l’offre d’utiliser ces 2.2 hectares pour des motifs identiques.

Rien d’étonnant donc à ce que les surcoûts liés à l’instabilité de la zone et les réticences des assureurs aient fait fuir les investisseurs. L’occasion était trop bonne pour que Maryse Joissains ne récupère la balle au bond et fasse preuve d’une réactivité faisant défaut à Marseille. Elle a immédiatement proposé un terrain privé à Aix les Milles. Le malheur des uns fait décidément le bonheur des autres… Car, bien au-delà d’un problème foncier, c’est toute une stratégie de développement économique qui s’effondre dans un arrondissement marseillais, le 15^e, manquant cruellement d’équipements et d’infrastructures.

Homme de cœur et businessman
Que Zidane soit un homme de cœur, c’est probable, il n’en reste pas moins un businessman avisé et parfaitement conseillé. Sur ce point, le décryptage défensif de Richard Miron, adjoint aux sports de la ville de Marseille s’entend : « le projet d’Aix est davantage dans une optique économique. Sur ce créneau, il y a déjà de la concurrence à Marseille, notamment à la Valentine. Ils ont fait une approche marketing et ils ont estimé qu’il valait mieux aller à  Aix ».

On est donc loin du modèle d’économie solidaire prônée par le clan Zidane qui désormais réfléchi sur une autre stratégie et tente malgré tout de sauver le volet social du projet en promettant de signer des conventions avec les écoles d’Aix et de Marseille.

Cependant, après avoir décroché le portrait de l’enfant prodige, l’un des marseillais les plus connus au monde, plébiscité par les Phocéens eux-mêmes, après avoir fait capoter ce projet si porteur et tant attendu par les minots des cités, Marseille aurait-elle peur de gagner ? Cela ne laisse rien présager de bon pour les échéances auxquelles la ville sera bien vite confrontées. Gageons qu’avant l’horizon 2013 d’autres initiatives de ce type puissent voir le jour…

Pour l’heure, les Marseillais peuvent toujours se consoler : ils vont avoir un Casino flambant neuf !

On en parle régulièrement dans ASLN, les marques savent aujourd’hui qu’une vidéo aux allures amateurs, diffusée comme ça sans explication sur une plate forme comme YouTube ou Dailymotion a toutes les chance de faire le buzz en tout cas si c’est bien fait.

Et là, force est de constater que ça sent la campagne de pub à plein nez ! Dommage car l’idée de se faire rencontrer “par hasard” Zidane et un tout jeune fan vidéaste aurait pu être très réussie. Le côté amateur est bien là. Les “trucages” sont quasi-invisibles et l’émotion est bien présente. Alors qu’est-ce qui fait qu’on n’y croit pas ? Peut-être qu’il y a trop de vidéos (4) utilisant systématiquement les même ficelles (caméra au poing, rencontre fortuite, exploit de Zidane, phrase subliminale,…). Encore une fois dommage car une seule de ces vidéos (celle du billard ?) aurait certainement suffit, les autres auraient du, à mon humble avis, exploiter d’autres ressorts. Allez, je vous les mets parce qu’elles sont quand même rigolotes ces vidéos.

Quant à la marque se trouvant à l’origine de la “campagne”, si elle reste invisible pour le moment, un petit coup d’oeil vers les sponsors de Zidane devrait s’avérer payant… Comment ça, y porte des lunettes Zizou ?

L’IFOP a encore réalisé son super Top 50 des personnalités préférées des Français. Et sans aucune surprise, la tendance se confirme étude après étude, les Français sont de gros ploucs sans goût ni discernement. On peut déjà se demander si ce genre de sondage présente vraiment un intérêt quelconque, à part celui de nous mettre tous les six mois dans la gêne. Pourquoi ne pas alterner par exemple avec le Top 50 des personnalités les moins appréciées des Français, ça mettrait un peu d’ambiance, parce que là, on s’emmerde un peu.

Commençons par le désormais inamovible numéro 1, j’ai nommé, le grand, le formidable, le chouchou des Français, Yannick Noah. Qu’est-ce que Yannick Noah a bien pu faire pour mériter tant d’amour de la part de mes concitoyens ? Il a joué au tennis pendant des années, et faut relativiser, c’est pas Federer. Puis il s’est mis à chanter n’importe quoi, ce qui n’a rien d’original en France et les Français ne se sont pas remis de le voir mener une chenille grotesque de joueurs sur un terrain de tennis, en chantant Saga Africa. Ok, ensuite ? Ensuite, il a les dents du bonheur, des dreadlocks, et une manie de chanter pieds nus. Mais surtout, il a accepté des postes honorifiques au Cameroun, offerts par le régime de Paul Biya, a menacé de « se casser » si Sarkozy était élu Président, a soutenu l’autre cruche, puis est revenu sur ses propos en disant qu’il valait mieux rester et opter pour la résistance. Pause, laissez-moi rire. Le mec parle de résistance au régime Sarkozy mais il accepte des cadeaux de Biya. Je me roule par terre, je me relève. Merci, ça va mieux. Non, mais sérieux on se fout de la gueule de qui là ?

A part ça, je remarque certaines constantes dans ces classements. Il y a évidemment les monuments classés au patrimoine national, c’est-à-dire ceux qui ne quitteront ce top que lorsqu’ils ne seront plus de ce monde (et encore c’est pas sûr), Aznavour, Simone Veil, Bebel, Johnny, PPDA, Delon (notons au passage la misogynie des français : comment expliquer que ce personnage antipathique s’il en est, soit encore dans ce top alors que des Deneuve et Adjani en sont absentes ?), Drucker, Depardieu, Chabat.

Il y a ensuite les Martyrs, comme Corneille (qui n’a pas chanté depuis l’an 2 mais qui restera à jamais la seule victime du génocide rwandais que les Français connaissent, donc on l’aime) et notre idole à tous, la grande, l’unique Ingrid, qui a quand même perdu des places depuis sa libération, confirmant ainsi ce que je disais il y a peu. Mais surtout, il y a la 1^ère femme préférée des français, qui n’arrive qu’à la 6^ème place (misogynie quand tu nous tiens) et qui n’est nulle autre que la grande, oups, désolée, pas fait exprès, la divine, Mimie Mathy. Alors, je tiens à préciser, je n’ai rien contre Mimie Mathy, elle a beaucoup de courage, d’humour, de cheveux blonds, de ce que vous voulez. Mais elle fait quoi au juste dans la vie à part nous mettre dans la gêne chaque semaine dans son rôle embarrassant de Joséphine, ange gardien ?

Notons aussi évidemment le phénomène plouquerie intense qui se retrouve très haut dans le top. En 2 et 3, Dany Boon et Gad Elmaleh. Certes ce ne sont ni les plus antipathiques ni les plus ploucs du lot même si récemment les chevilles de Dany Boon ne passent plus les portes. Je dois même avouer avoir souvent hurlé de rire devant les spectacles de Gad Elmaleh. Mais quand on sait que c’est pour les deux bouses ultimes que sont les Ch’tis et Coco qu’ils arrivent à cette place, ça me donne envie de pleurer. Idem pour Jean Dujardin et Franck Dubosc qui doivent leur présence ici aux croûtes irregardables que sont Brice de Nice et Camping. La plouquerie intense, je vous dis. Sans oublier les Sardou, Bigard, Drucker, Pernault and co.

Il faut s’arrêter quelques instants sur la catégorie bien française du « on s’en remet pas ». Le n°5 du classement, Zizou. Que dire. On ne se remettra jamais de 1998. C’est pas de notre faute. C’est comme ça, Zidane pourrait tuer Yannick Noah et Mimie Mathy qu’il ne bougerait pas (et si c’était moi qui votais, il gagnerait même des places). Sophie Marceau, je vous laisse lire les mots du Pédé à son sujet et Patrick Bruel, tant que les midinettes des années 1980 auront le droit de s’exprimer, il ne bougera pas, c’est mathématique.

Enfin, parce que parfois, les Français ne se plantent pas, saluons l’entrée de Charlotte Gainsbourg à la 27^ème place (qui devrait être dans ce top depuis sa naissance), celle de Rama Yade à la 45^ème et, euh… non, c’est tout en fait.

S’il ne devait en rester qu’un selon moi, ce serait Harry Roselmack (évidemment absent du Top). Parce qu’il est classe, beau, intelligent, qu’il présente bien le JT, mieux que tous les autres, qu’il me sourit quand il présente Sept à Huit, qu’on ne le voit pas assez, qu’il me donne envie d’allumer ma télé, qu’il a de l’humour, qu’il est beau, et que même si personne ne m’a demandé mon avis, je vote pour lui.

Club career
Zidane joined the junior team of US Saint-Henri, a local club in the La Castellane district of Marseille. At the age of 14, he participated in the first-year junior selection for the league championship, where he caught the attention of AS Cannes scout Jean Varraud. He went to Cannes for a six-week stay, but ended up remaining at the club for four years to play at the professional level. Zidane played his first Ligue 1 match at seventeen, and scored his first goal on 8 February 1991, for which he received a car as a gift from the team president. His first season with Cannes culminated in a UEFA Cup berth

Zidane transferred to Girondins de Bordeaux for the 1992–93 season, winning the 1995 Intertoto Cup and finishing runner-up in the 1995–96 UEFA Cup in four years with the club. He played a set of midfield combinations with Bixente Lizarazu and Christophe Dugarry, which would become the trademark of both Bordeaux and the 1998 French national team. In 1995, Blackburn Rovers coach Ray Harford had expressed interest in signing both Zidane and Dugarry, to which team owner Jack Walker reportedly replied, “Why do you want to sign Zidane when we have Tim Sherwood?”

In 1996, Zidane moved to Champions League winners Juventus for a fee of £3 million, and won the 1996–97 Scudetto and the Intercontinental Cup, but lost the 1997 UEFA Champions League final 3–1 to Borussia Dortmund. He netted seven goals in 32 matches to help Juventus retain the Scudetto the next season and make their second consecutive UEFA Champions League final appearance, losing 1-0 to Real Madrid which would be his next destination. Juventus were runners-up in 2000–01, but were eliminated in the group stage of the Champions League, during which Zidane was sent off for headbutting Hamburger SV player Jochen Kientz.

In 2001, Zidane joined Real Madrid for €78 million, the most expensive transfer fee in football history at the time, and signed a four-year contract. He scored the match-winning goal in Madrid’s 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the 2002 UEFA Champions League Final completing this personal quadruple. The next season, Zidane was named the FIFA World Player of the Year for the third time. In 2004, fans voted him atop UEFA’s fiftieth-anniversary Golden Jubilee Poll, and he was included in the FIFA 100.

Despite scoring his first-ever hat-trick in a 4-2 win over Sevilla FC, Zidane’s final season of club football ended trophyless. On 7 May 2006, Zidane, who had announced his plans to retire after the 2006 World Cup,[3] played his last home match and scored in a 3-3 draw with Villarreal CF. The squad wore commemorative jerseys with “ZIDANE 2001–2006″ below the club logo.

International career
Both France and Berber Algeria(Kabyle) consider Zidane a citizen, but he was ineligible to play for the Algerian national team. There was also a rumor that coach Abdelhamid Kermali denied him a position for the Algerian squad because he felt the young midfielder was not fast enough. However, Zidane dismissed the rumor in a 2005 interview, saying that he would have been ineligible to play for Algeria because he had already played for France.

He earned his first cap with France as a substitute in a friendly against the Czech Republic on 17 August 1994, which ended in a 2-2 draw after Zidane scored twice to help France erase a 2-0 deficit. After Éric Cantona was handed a year-long suspension in January 1995 for assaulting a fan, Zidane took over the playmaker position. France were eliminated in the UEFA Euro 1996 semifinals in a penalty shootout by the Czech Republic after the match ended 0-0 in extra time.

Zidane won the 1998 FIFA World Cup with France, scoring twice in the final against defending champions Brazil. He finished with two goals as France then won UEFA Euro 2000, becoming the first team to hold both the World Cup and the European Championship since West Germany in 1974. A thigh injury prevented Zidane from playing in France’s first two matches in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He rushed back prematurely for the third game despite not being fully fit, but could not prevent France from being ignominiously eliminated in the group stage without scoring a single goal.

After France were eliminated in the UEFA Euro 2004 quarterfinals by eventual winners Greece on 12 June 2004, Zidane retired from international football. With the mass retirement of veteran key players such as Bixente Lizarazu, Marcel Desailly and others, France struggled to qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. However, at the urging of coach Raymond Domenech, Zidane came out of retirement and was immediately reinstated as team captain.[8] He made his competitive return in a 3-0 win over the Faroe Islands on 3 September 2005, as France went on to win their qualifying group.

On 27 May 2006, Zidane earned his hundredth cap for France in a 1-0 friendly win over Mexico, becoming France’s fourth player ever to reach this milestone, after Marcel Desailly, Didier Deschamps and Lilian Thuram. He was substituted early in the second half.

2006 World Cup
After being suspended on yellow cards from the final match of the group stage, Zidane set up a goal for Patrick Vieira and scored one himself in the 91st minute of the second round match against Spain. As France held Brazil to just one shot on goal in the rematch of the 1998 final, Zidane’s free kick led to Thierry Henry’s deciding goal, sealing a 1-0 win. Zidane was named Man of the Match by FIFA. Before the final match, Zidane was awarded the Golden Ball as the best player of the competition.

By scoring a 7th minute penalty in the final, Zidane became only the fourth player in World Cup history to score in two different finals, along with Pelé, Paul Breitner, and Vavá, in addition to being tied for first place with Vavá, Pelé and Geoff Hurst with three World Cup final goals apiece. Zidane was sent off in extra time after headbutting Marco Materazzi following verbal taunts in the form of racial and ethnic slurs from the Italian player, and so did not participate in the penalty shootout, which Italy won 5–3. He kept the Golden Ball award.

Post-retirement
On June 1, 2009, Zidane was announced as the Advisor to the President as Florentino Perez was named President of Real Madrid for the second time. He also regularly plays for Real Madrid Veterans team. He along with Jorge Valdano, General Director, and Miguel Pardeza, Sporting Director, will be the key decision makers on the sporting side of the club.

Charity activities
In 2003, Zidane attended the Race Against Hunger organized by Action Against Hunger Spain (also known as Acción Contra el Hambre) held at the French Lyceum of Madrid. This event raised an estimated 25,000 Euros.
On 24 February 2007, before a crowd of 10,000 fans at a match in northern Thailand for the Keuydaroon children’s AIDS charity, Zidane scored the first goal and set up the second for a Malaysian teammate as the match ended 2-2. The event raised ฿260,000 ($7,750). This money paid for the building of two schools and 16 three-bedroom houses.

On 19 November 2007, Zidane took part in the fifth annual Match Against Poverty in Málaga, Spain, which also ended in a 2-2 draw; he went scoreless but set up his team’s second goal. He and former Real Madrid teammate Ronaldo, who collaborated in conceiving the yearly event to benefit the United Nations Development Programme, regularly captain their respective teams consisting of active footballers, other professional athletes and celebrities. Zidane, a U.N. goodwill ambassador since 2001, stated before the game that “everyone can do something to make the world a better place.”

Awards, honours, and appointments
In 2004, Forbes magazine named him the 42nd-highest paid athlete in the world, with earnings of US$15.8 million a year.[18] In November 2006, Zidane toured Bangladesh as the guest of Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus. He also visited the Algerian birthplace of his parents, and met personally with president Abdel Aziz Bouteflika.

Filmmakers Philippe Parreno and Douglas Gordon filmed a documentary, Zidane, which follows Zidane during an entire match, filmed with 17 cameras. The documentary was part of the 2009 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.

Sponsorships
Zidane has had endorsements with many companies, including: Adidas, Lego, France Telecom, Orange, Audi, Volvic and Christian Dior. These sponsorship deals earned him €8.6 million on top of his €6.4 million Real Madrid salary in his final season, making him the sixth-highest paid footballer.

Personal life
Zidane is of Algerian Kabyle descent. His parents, Ismail and Malika, both Muslims, emigrated from the village of Aguemone in the Kabylie region of Algeria in 1953, and settled in Paris, before moving to Marseille a few years later.

Zidane met his wife, Véronique while playing for Cannes in the 1988-89 season. They have four sons: Enzo (named after former Uruguayan player Enzo Francescoli), Luca, Theo, who are both members of the Real Madrid Infantil B Team, and Elyaz

Schade, dass es nur 5 Sterne gibt.
5 Sterne würde ich für Pele, Maradonna oder den Kaiser geben.
Für Ziziou reichen sie nicht.
Ich hätte ihm einen besseren Abgang gegönnt, aber seiner Popularität tat der Kopfstoß in seinem letzten Spiel keinen Abbruch.
Er war der Beste !!!
Er konnte Sachen mit dem Ball machen, die ich nicht für möglich hielt, dass man sie mit einem Ball machen kann.
Manchmal schien ihm der Ball schon abhanden gekommen sein, und dann fuhr er doch eins seiner langen Beine aus, und er angelte sich die Pille doch noch.
Der Ball schien ihm zu gehorchen.
Er konnte ihn immer behaupten. Er hat ihn behauptet gegen die besten und heißesten Gegenspieler der Welt.
Gegen alle Terrier und Knochenbrecher, gegen Grätscher und Trikotzuppler.
Er hat mit einer Leichtigkeit gespielt, und er konnte trotzdem schwitzen, wie kein anderer. Das Wasser lief ihm immer in Strömen von der Stirn. ( Schau es dir an, Ballack ) .
Er hat Tore geschossen, manchmal mit nicht zu überbietenden Technik, auch mit dem Kopf und per Freistoß.
Ich denke da nur an den sagenhaften Hüftdrehstoß aus 18 Metern gegen Leverkusen.
In seiner Hochzeit bei Real Madrid, den Königlichen, dem weißen Ballett, hat er mir manchmal Tränen des Glücks in die Augen getrieben.
Allein für ihn hat sich das sauteure Premiere-Abo gelohnt.
Ich habe kein Spiel von Real ausgelassen.
Warum er besser war als Pele und Maradonna ??
Pele, der Wunderfußballer aus Brasilien, hat zu einer Zeit gezaubert, als es bei Gegenspielern noch als höflich galt, mindestens 5 Meter Abstand zu halten.
Maradonna , ebenso eine Zauberer, musste sich immerhin schon mit solchen Kraftmeiern wie Bonhof und Konsorten rumplagen.

Auf Zidane wurden aber die hochgezüchteten Kampfhunde gehetzt, die ihm keinen halben Meter Platz zum Zaubern ließen.
Dachten sie jedenfalls.
Er hat sie alle getunnelt.
Und er war, bei aller Egozentrik, ein Mannschaftsspieler.

Deshalb war er der Beste.
Uneinholbar.
Ein Genie.
Ein Fußballgott.

Roda na internet a notícia de que Zidane pode ser o próximo craque a ser contratado pelo Corinthians, que terá como patrocinador o grupo Carrefour. Zizou, como é chamado na França, deixou o futebol ao final da Copa do Mundo de 2006. Na época, protagonizou um dos momentos mais polêmicos de sua carreira, ao agredir o jogador italiano Materazzi, sendo expulso no segundo tempo da final França x Itália, sua partida de despedida.
