And now, I have my own online shop which I can personalize as much as I want and on which I can sell products which I’ve selected from a database of over three million – the only really tough thing was to think of a good name for the shop!

All I really need to do, now, is to advertise my shop to other people and let them now about it, because I get a very cool commission (2% to 15%) every time someone buys something from me! But of course, I never need to handle the items myself – all of that’s dealt with for me!

“L’échiquier du mal ” de Dan Simmons

Pitch : L’histoire de 3 septuagénaires doté de pouvoir mentaux (je ne c pas écrire psychique ) qui engrange des points en faisant tués des gens par d’autre personnes (manipule mentalement au préalable). Une fois l’an ils se rencontrent et compte les points. Il y a un ancien nazi et deux charmantes dames qui ressemblent à Jessica Fletcher.

Si vous connaissez l’univers de Dan Simmons et que vous avez lu “Hypérion” et “Endymion” vous allez être un peu déçu au début. Ce n’est pas du tout comparable, ici l’histoire se passe sur terre, presque normalement.

Se qui m’a frape dans ce livre c’est le Mal avec une grande majuscule, il suinte à chaque pages.

Just like Squidlit (you’re getting paid to do book reviews), The Ever Project (aggregations of topics around “what’s the worst”, “the biggest ever” etc.), Squidwho (mashups and aggregations around fan pages), Hey Monkey Brain uses the Squidoo engine to power the site.

Squidoo is a content aggregation engine that lets user create “lenses” i.e. ways to look at a specific subject (let’s say, you’re a huge fan of laptops bags, you’re going to create a page around these bags and, obviously link to the pages where you can buy these bags). Heavily viral and engaging, the site launched less than 2 years ago is already close to 10m UVs worlwide and close to 5m UVs in ComScore. This growth has been achieved with very little SEM investment (if you check Spyfu, you get to an investment under 100 grands a year – check here).

The whole team is under 10 peoples, mostly technical and including Seth himself.

You can find an pure ecommerce application of the concept in France through Zlio which lets its users create personnalized shopping pages.  So let say you’re a huge fan of Saint Therese of Lisieux, you’ll create a page that will aggregate all of the products available on this well-known catholic saint (see the page here). The more targeted is the subject, the biggest conversion rate you’re going to achieve and the more money you’ll make (Zlio users get a rev share on the affiliation revenue).

Seth’s model enables users to choose between keeping the money or giving it to a charity.

Knowing how much transformation rates are affected by the contextual relevance of the pages, Stylefeeder (a recommendation engine, mostly focused on fashion) applied these teachings by letting the user drives the type of products that he might be interested in. Stylehive has the same goal but emphasize the social aspect of shopping to get there.  And Like.com is approaching it through a visual recognition application.

For now, there’s still no clear winner on the social shopping space but that could evolve very quickly knowing the pressure that all of these companies have from their investors (to the exception of Squidoo).

Както писах и в предната статия в този блог от близо две седмици съм безделник. Направих си план и изпълних може би всичко от него с малки изключения, а даже ми остана време да се занимая и с някоя и друга глупост.

От сайт на сайт в интернет стигнах до разни материали за това как може да се изкарват пари от интернет. Хммм интересно викам си, нека да разбера това онова. Оказа се, че начини има бол и за всеки може да се намери по нещо свързано с интересите му и според свободното време, с което разполага. Ето например в този блог са изброени 20 начина да се правят пари онлайн. Който го интересува може да прочете, доста е изчерпателен списъка.

Та от всичките тези начини си харесах един, за които ще пиша сега. Става въпрос за следното: В Zlio.com бързо и лесно си създаваш онлайн магазин. Избираш си тема (външния вид на магазина), продуктите които ще предлагаш в него, създаваш си категории и си готов… е има още няколко неща, но за тях след малко. Zlio се грижи за паричните транзакции, за това как ще стигне стоката до клиента, а ти си прибираш само процента от печалбата, т.е. комисионната. Грижата да се промотират продуктите е твоя обаче.

Първото ми впечатление беше, че е голяма лудница от продукти (от градинарски истории, през бельо, бижутерия, до iphone-и, компютри и всякаква техника – абе всичко) и има доста създадени вече магазини – над 300 000 (не се шегувам). Помислих малко и осъзнах, че е изключително важно да избереш някаква ниша за магазина си, иначе е изключено да пробиеш. Това е и правило номер едно, за всеки начинаещ като мен.

Ето накратко какво още остава да направите за да тръгне магазина:

• избирате име за магазина и слагате кратко описание. Както и решавате дали ще е на БГ или на Англииски. Аз лично избрах втория, за да продавам на запад, защото в БГ трудна работа.
• създавате категории за продуктите. Според мен е важно как са организирани нещата, а това е и още една възможности да се различавате от останалите подобни.
• За да се индексират вашите продукти по-добре в търсачките (по-специално Google), е необходимо да добавите tag-ове за всеки продукт, както и ваше собствено ревю (ако можете). Разбира се на всички продукти ще ви е малко трудно да го направите, но поне на някои по-подбрани. С течение на времето пишете и за останалите продукти.
• Добавяте няколко полезни модула, които поддръжа Zilo: 1. Header Meta tags and keywords – полезно е от гледна точка на оптимизацията за търсачки. 2. Google Analytics – за да следите посещенията на магазина и друга информация свързана с тях.
• Добавяте вашия нов и завършен сайт (интернет магазин) в интернет търсачки (Google, Yahoo и т.н.) и директории като www.dmoz.org и други. Аз лично го добавих в около десетина търсачки и директории. Разбира се желателно е да го добавите в поне още толкова, а колкото повече толкова по-добре.
• Вашия магазин е готов. Не забравяйте да добавяте нови продукти и да промотирате. За останалите начини за промотиране ще пиша допълнително.

Хубавото е, че от Zlio са помислили за вашите допълнителни доходи и са предоставили възможност за почти автоматично итегриране на Google Adsense реклами в сайта на магазина ви.

И така да обобщим: Нямате нужда от собствен хостинг и собствен домейн (има възможност ако имате домейн да го ползвате). Няма да се занимавате с нищо друго освен с промотиране и набиране на стока за вашия магазин. На мен лично цялото това нещо, което описах накратко ми отне около 3-4 часа, като в магазина си имам вече над 140 артикула, а поне 20 от тях имат ревюта. Остава да чакаме комисионните В крайна сметка не губим почти нищо.

За моя магазин избрах нишата цифрови фотоапарати с по-голям Zoom. Ето го и скромния магазин които съчиних  Zoom and Shoot Camera Store. Ако решите да се захванете като мен и да спечелите евентуално нещо, то може да се регистрирате от тази връзка. Ако използвате нея аз ще получавам комисионна 10% от вашите продажби и 5% от продажбите на вашите приятели, които ще зарибите да се присъединят. Аз в замяна ще пиша тук какво съм открил допълнително, за да промотираме по-лесно продуктите си.

Une première astuce consiste à passer des annonces sur internet. Des sites d’annonces gratuites comme Vivastreet, Kijiji, Jannonce… peuvent être très utiles pour référencer ses articles en vente. Vous pouvez le faire pour chacun de vos produits et si le site l’autorise faire un lien qui pointe vers votre boutique.

Die Frage, die ich mir heute im ICE 1556 nach Frankfurt stelle, ist die folgende: Wie kann man – effektiv aber vor allem effizient – Kunden für einen online Shop gewinnen? Zusätzlich muss noch beachtet werden, dass man in der Gestaltung des hier verwendeten Zlio Shops wenig Spielraum hat. Ein Gewinnspiel oder ähnliches lässt sich nicht in dem definierten Shop-Layout implementieren. Demzufolge versuche ich anhand der 4 Marketing Mix Instrumente die Ausgangssituation zu klären:

Product: Bei einem Zlio Shop stellt man sich aus einer großen Auswahl an Produkten sein Portfolio zusammen. Diese werden von anderen Online-Versandhäusern (z.B.: QVC, MEXX, …) zur Verfügung gestellt. In meinem Shop geht es um das Thema: Play|boy und werden unter dem Namen: “Playgirls” angeboten. Dabei benötige ich keine eigentlichen Produkte und muss mich nicht um Lagerung und Versand kümmern, da der ganze Prozess von den genannten Internet Händler übernommen wird.

Price: Auf diesen Faktor habe ich keinen Einfluss. Es gelten die Preise der Anbieterfirmen. Gewinnmargen gibt es keine. Wie also erhält man sein Geld? Ganz einfach: Provision. Dazu mehr etwas weiter unten.

Place: Es wird die Shop-Plattform von Zlio.de wird verwendet (Absatz über Internet).

Communication: Damit ist die “klassische” Werbung gemeint. Hier habe ich am meisten Einfluss. Wir vor dem Experiment definiert, wird das Budget von 15 € je Shop in passende Werbemethoden investiert (z.B.: AdWords oder Bannerwerbung). Die einzelnen Maßnahmen werden in den kommenden Wochen beschreiben.

Noch kurz ein paar Worte zur Provision. Das “Zlio-Prinzip” funktioniert so, dass man als Shop-Inhaber Werbung für Produkte andere Firmen wie Otto oder Tchibo macht. Dadurch ist man eine Art “Zwischenhändler” und bekommt für seine Erfolge Geld auf ein Konto. Die Höhe ist abhängig vom Anbieter. Quelle verspricht für jeder Bestellung 4 €. Andere schreiben einem Prozentwert der Gesamtsumme eines Einkaufes gut. Natürlich habe ich dementsprechend bei der Wahl der “Geschäftsidee” auch darauf geschaut, wo eine Bestellung am meisten Umsatz bringt (Maximalprinzip). Das nächste Mal geht es um meinen zweiten Online Shop – nur soweit: es ist kein Zlio Shop.

So  – die “Sommerpause” ist vorbei. Endlich wird wieder in die Hände geklatscht =). Wie im Blog vor ein paar Wochen angekündigt (da …) habe ich jetzt den ersten Zlio Shop eröffnet. *Trommelwirbel*

“PlayGirls – for the Young and Sexy Generation”

In diesem Shop werden ausschließlig Artikel der Firma Play|boy angeboten. Der Grund hierfür ist relativ einfach: Die aktuell erfolgreichsten Zlio Shops handelt mit sehr speziellen Produkten (MEXX, Anne Geddes). Ich habe nun nach Produkten gesucht, die folgende Kriterien erfüllen sollten:

• Keine Produkte mit High Involvement ( MP3 Player, Laptop ). Hier ist das Risiko zu groß, dass niemand etwas kauft. Ich gehe von mir aus und solch hochpreisige Gegenstände erwerbe ich dann doch lieber beim Händler meines Vertrauens.
• Eine Produktsorte mit wenig vorhanden Shops (bei Zlio gibt es bis dato noch keine Play|boy Shops). Man kann so kurzfristig ein Monopol aufbauen – allerdings bestehen solche, wenn sie denn funktionieren, bei Zlio nur wenige Stunden =).
• Produkt mit einer eindeutigen Zielgruppe (Frauen). Somit dürften der Einsatz weiterer Marketinginstrumente vereinfacht werden.

Zlio : offre la possibilité de créer et mettre en ligne gratuitement une boutique en une poignée de minutes (sélection du design du site, des produits du catalogue, etc.). Pour chaque vente, une commission est versée. Les marchands partenaires (Amazon, Pixmania, Cdiscount…) s’occupent de la logistique. Pas besoin d’avoir les objets chez soi ! Pour réussir, il est préférable de personnaliser sa boutique (description des produits, look du site, etc) et de la référencer (annuaires, digg like…).

Oodoc : permet aux internautes de proposer leurs documents à la vente. Ils doivent en être l’auteur pour qu’ils soient acceptés. Il est important de flairer les documents qui peuvent bien se vendre (forte demande des entreprises, des étudiants…). Par exemple : des lettres types (contrat de location, lettre de résiliation d’un abonnement, etc), des fiches de révision (résumé de livres, vocabulaire thématique en anglais, etc.).

Zlio vient de mettre en ligne son nouveau concept d’ecommerce où tout le monde peut proposer ses articles à la vente et où tout le monde peut les revendre en se prenant une marge. C’est plus clair expliqué par lui, le fondateur de Zlio.

Ainsi, si le fournisseur A propose un petit voiture rouge à 10 euros, le Zlionauteur B peut la proposer à la vente sur son site à 15 euros tandis que le Zlionauteur C peut en demander 20 euros.

Et bien vous, au final, si vous ne connaissez pas le Zlionauteur B, mais seulement le Zlionauteur C, vous perdez 5 euros.

Face à ce problème et pour remédier à notre pouvoir d’achat qui baisse, je suis sûr que d’ici quelques temps, on va voir apparaitre un nouveau moteur de recherche: le Dézlioteur.

Son but sera simple: retrouver le vendeur le moins cher pour chaque article.

Wir habe heute in der Vorlesung Marketing darüber geredet, dass Unternehmen sich vor allem an den Kunden und nicht an ihrem Produkt orientieren sollten. Dazu passt dieses Zitat von Peter Drucker:

“Das Ziel des Marketing ist es, den Kunden und seine Bedürfnisse derart gut zu verstehen, dass das daraus entwickelte Produkt genau passt und sich daher von selbst verkauft.”

Aus diesem Grund möchte ich gerne ein kleines Experiment starten. Folgende Eckdaten stelle ich mir als Rahmenbedingung:

• es sollen OnlineShops auf http://www.zlio.de/ eröffnet werden
• die Anzahl wird auf 3 beschränkt
  (um das Risiko aber auch die Chancen zu verteilen)
• die Shops sind jeweils spezialisiert auf einen Produkttyp
• max. 15 € pro Shop für Werbung ausgeben

Das ultimative Ziel ist es, mindestens die 15 € pro Shop wieder zu erwirtschaften. Im nächsten Blogeintrag werde ich genauer auf die Arten der Shops und die Einrichtung eingehen.

I built my store by choosing a few products I liked from a catalogue of over three million items, and every time someone buys something from ‘me’, I get a commission! All thanks to a fantastic service called Zlio – no technical knowledge required, of course, and you don’t even need to handle the products yourself (they’re shipped directly from the merchant to your ‘customer’). Why don’t you have a go? To be honest, I also have a bit of a vested interest in letting you know – Zlio gives me 10% of the commissions of any member I refer (without your losing out, of course!)… But, if you then refer people yourself, the same applies to you!
