It can sometimes be hard to step outside the everyday tasks that our library staff are accountable for, such as helping our residents with their questions; ensuring our buildings are safe for the public; and providing programs and classes that meet the needs of our community, but through the efforts of our amazing staff we also manage to apply for and manage grants, submit proposals for speaking engagements at local and national conferences, and work with other local organizations in collaborative efforts.   186 more words
