Before Ana Castro & Amnita Elgin came to our program I had a fun time with Ana! This was such an exciting learning opportunity!

The week before coming to our programs kitchen, Ana shared with me about El Salvadorian ovens in the fifties, how the ovens had to be warmed for hours before baking anything, then the mandatory organizational techniques her mother & neighbors had in order to prepare the days meals! 176 more words

February 16th we celebrated Salvadorian culture with such ingredients as gmo free corn, peppers, tomatoes, onions and many more ingredients!
