Arles -- the Réattu

Yesterday it was pouring again — so we went to the Réattu, which is in the old palace of the Knights of Malta.  Réattu bought the palace in the 1800’s and used it as his atelier — even in those days he must have been a very successful painter to buy such a pile, it’s a big place.  740 more words
