Suburban Eagle

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, “Florida has one of the densest concentrations of nesting bald eagles in the lower 48 states, with an estimated 1,500 nesting pairs.” So it comes as no surprise to see them closing in on urban areas, like this individual who seemed right at home in a pine tree next to a busy shopping center.
