Need to remove "berries" from trees and bushes

The Town of Canmore and Banff have asked local residents to begin removing berries from bushes and trees.  The Towns feel a reduction in bear activity will only improve if we reduce the amount of “snacking” they are entitled too.   8 more words

A male grizzly was recently spotted near the Banff town center, eating garbage at a local construction site.  Banff National Park officials are leering the bear out of town but have suggested carrying bear spray if walking about.
