Hoping for Some Fireworks in DC -- Brandon Crawford

Rough series in Miami. We never seem to play the Marlins very well. I’m not sure what it is. A lot of people asked me about Carter Capps, the Marlins reliever who drags his foot off the rubber before he throws the pitch. 1,420 more words

MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) – There isn’t much to be excited about at Marlins Park these days.

This series would mark Casey McGehee’s return to face the Miami Marlins if not for the astounding production of Matt Duffy. 578 more words

Overcoming the simultaneous absences of Aoki and right fielder Hunter Pence certainly will challenge the Giants. “If we want to be the ball club we want to be, somebody’s going to have to step up,” ace left-hander Madison Bumgarner said. I found the comment from a reader to be very honest and I have to agree with the scenario laid out. This wasn't easy for me as I am a HUGE Belt fan and I like him at first base. Hunter's defiantly having a hard time staying healthy this season so getting someone else comfortable out there makes sense.  I think Pence will remain the "Preacher of Inspiration" for the Giants in any aspect.  We will have to go with what ever changes are made I am just hoping there isn't a lot of switching around because I didn't think it was funny when Abbot & Costello did it.
