Not so long ago, although it seems another age now, like when dinosaurs roamed the earth, those who had issues with the policies and actions of the second president Bush (George W.) said what they thought they had to say – the reason this man said we had to go to war with Iraq seemed kind of bogus and there were alternatives, and then cutting taxes while we were in the middle of two astoundingly expensive wars seemed irresponsible, and most of the tax cuts going to the four hundred richest families in America seemed, if not suspicious, at least a tad unfair, and this idea of privatizing Social Security so everyone could play the stock market with their spare change and take care of themselves seemed nuts, and so on. 3,508 more words
