Zhoushan LNG receiving terminal receives NEA approval

The 5.8 Bn yuan (~US$935M) terminal will be built by ENN Group, with approval currently applying to the first of 3 planned phases. Initial operational capacity will be 3 MTPA, and includes 2x 160,000 m3 LNG storage tanks, for completion by 2017.

ENN’s LNG import terminal project delayed

Commissioning of the proposed 3 mtpa LNG import terminal, owned by independent gas distributor ENN of China, has been delayed. China’s import facilities has been underutilized, with average utilization rate for the 12 LNG import terminals in China at 55.2% in 2014.

GTT wins terminal contract

GTT has landed a contract from ENN to provide engineering for China’s first LNG terminal used for bunkering purpose at Xingang Industrial Park in Zhoushan. The project calls for an initial LNG import handling capacity of 3 mtpa increasing in future to 5-10 mtpa. 9 more words
