PetroVietnam to take on stake in Block B

PetroVietnam has exercised a pre-emptive right to take up Chevron’s interest in the large Block B gas resource off Vietnam. Leading contractors submitted bids some years ago for the EPC works but are very likely to be asked to re-tender for packages, under a new operator, and in this low oil price environment.
