We’ve been having building work done at home which although exciting , I find it turns my usually fairly calm life into chaos.

It took me a while to find the correct name for this plant.  In one of my books, it is called ACANTHUS, but Acanthus is commonly called Bear’s Breeches and not even remotely like this flower/plant. 144 more words

I have inherited three roses – two white ones in the back garden, one which I think is a climber but having been covered by the rampant jasmine has a very spindly stem from which I have managed to get it to develop shoots and stems and layer them on the fence so that this year I have about 24 buds. 164 more words
