A Seasoned Senior's Story

My husband and I attend a church Sunday school group called the Voyagers. We recently decided to call ourselves “Seasoned Seniors”. It gives us the authenticity to say that the experiences in our lives have seasoned us with tasty tidbits of wisdom to pass along to our family and those younger than us who lack the years we have lived to learn what only time is able to teach. 530 more words

Be Fruitful!

Living in southern California for 38 years has allowed this South Dakota girl to pick fruit off the trees in her very own yard. We promptly planted 4 fruit trees in our backyard shortly after moving from Iowa, and it is still hard to believe that while much of the country is buried in snow in February, we can be out in short sleeves picking our sweet, juicy oranges. 445 more words
