Well after the plane touches down at Düsseldorf airport the world renowned German efficiency is in full swing. We breeze through Passport control thanks to the electronic Passport Control machine’s (the ones in Manchester Airport never work or are just permanently shut while they “install” them, been a few months now!) The sky train station is located in the airport and so easy to access and make your transition to the city centre so easy that it makes the recently erected Metrolink line from Manchester Airport look prehistoric (note to anyone travelling from Manchester Airport, if you want to get to the city centre get the train as it takes 15-20 minutes. 667 more words
