a writer's soul

Missing your words
The way they warm my heart
Always leap for joy

Poetry

haunted

Held captive
By my mother’s choices they
Haunt me still

Poetry

My heart she thought
She had broken only to find me soon after
In the arms of another

Poetry

Spasms

Muscles rip off bone

With each cough with each movement

Hoping for relief
