Hana Highway Journey to Paradise and Back (Nothing but Waterfalls Edition)

When I was researching my trip to Maui, my guide book touted the Hana Highway as one of the “must do’s” on Maui. Maui County reports that Hana Highway at mile post 13.5 in the area of Honomanu Bay is closed Saturday due to a landslide.

Maui's Hana Highway reopens after landslide

A landslide on Maui forced the closure of Hana Highway, about three miles outside of Makawao.
