I live in a neighborhood with a library.

If you live in Minneapolis, you know that this isn’t actually that much of a statement because the Hennepin County Library inherited a system of dozens of libraries scattered throughout the city when it merged with the Minneapolis Public Library in 2005 (which also makes Minneapolis the only major city in the country that doesn’t have an independent library, but there were distinct benefits to Minneapolis to merge the Minneapolis Public Library with the Hennepin County Library in compensation for that loss of prestige). 131 more words
