I caught Taiwan’s version of the bullet train, the High Speed Rail (HSR) to Hsinchu, “The Windy City” of Taiwan. You could set a clock to their arrival and departure times of the HSR, and the trains only sit at the station for a few minutes, so you really need to line up and wait at the platform before the train is due so that once the other passengers disembark you can get on and store your luggage (if necessary) and get to your seat in time before the train leaves. 1,371 more words
