Pablum, but sweet-natured pablum. Parts of this feel borderline offensive in it’s attempts to endear foreign audiences with the quaintness of this little Irish village (right down to the precocious kid teaching a priest about the ways of the world), but I can’t pretend I didn’t find it endearing as hell. 24 more words
