The other day I saw a road runner for the first time! We recently moved into our new temporary home in Lancaster, CA. I haven’t been around southern California long enough to know whether or not road runners are as common as lizards are in Florida. 502 more words

The old physical therapy area was fine, but this is really nice. Two walls are entirely glass. The PT told me that they need some shades in the afternoon, and they’ll get them.

The plantings in this peaceful courtyard reminded me of being at the Getty Center the first week it was open and all the plants were small. I have to think those decorative balls are not going to age well, though.
