You think if you read a few books by Charles Bukowski or Dickins your gonna know about poverty or violence, you think if you get Sartre your going to know about dread or if you read Heart of Darkness by Conrad your going to know about madness but most of you have never been inside a rooming house , felt threatened on a daily basis, felt the shame of standing in line in a soup kitchen day after day or live in a condemned house full of washing machines, fridges , old screwed up bicycles, sinks , stoves, and you have to climb over this shit just to get to your dogbox room where a mattress lays waiting for you, piss stained, and otherwise. 345 more words
