According to responses from a survey, students at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill said diversity is “a variety of experiences, identities and backgrounds.” More specifically, one student said in the survey that diversity is “participation of persons/interaction between people who are different according to social constructs (such as race, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, gender, education level, etc.)” 1,423 more words
