Lewis, Bengals Reach Agreement

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis and the team have agreed on a 1-year contract extension through the upcoming 2016-2017 NFL season. Lewis was an NFL coach of the year candidate for much of last year, leading the Bengals to a franchise best 8-0 start and 12-4 record, but many people, including myself, thought he may very well end up getting fired after the Bengals not only lost their 7th out of 7 playoff game under Lewis, but after how the game was lost (blown) and the lack of discipline that could be seen by the Bengals’ players. 50 more words
