The 5 O'Clock Scramble: Last Minute Meals

Every once in a while, the 5 o’clock scramble results in something glorious. Our family aims to sit down for dinner at around 6/6:30 so that we can begin to wrangle the kids on to the sleep train at around 7/7:30 and be in bed by 8. 657 more words

Wow – I’ve really fallen off track with posting!  We’ve been busy this week – we had the house painted so there was some extra work there, plus regular running around with the kids.   278 more words

Sunday – my cooking day.  I made my breakfasts for the week – I started with roasting the sweet potatoes.  I had a lot so I tried to make sweet potato fries too.   396 more words

And three weeks on the Whole30 comes to an end, 9 days left.  Wow, I’m not sure I’m all that excited to see it end.  If it was day 31 right now, I think all I’d have is a glass of wine, and the rest would be W30 food.   383 more words
