LAPD: Shots Fired During Attempted Robbery At Mid-City Vons

MID-CITY (CBSLA) – Shots were fired at a Vons parking lot in Mid-City Friday evening, authorities said.

There were no injuries reported.

Puch Maxi

Puch Maxi with American Can Company Building.

Situated near Bayou St. John in the Mid-City neighborhood of New Orleans is the former building of the American Can Company. Apparently, it was a big deal when the company announced in 1905 plans to construct the factory to manufacture tin cans. 64 more words
