とにかくお手頃なレンズ。その分手ぶれ補正もなく最大絞りがF4とあまりボケないレンズですが、最短まで寄ったり逆光をうまく利用すればそれなりにボケてくれます。一般に同じタイプなら、F値の小さいレンズ(ボケるレンズ)ほど値段が高くなります。ズームレンズをよく利用するなら、値は張るけれどもっとF値の小さいレンズの方が使いやすいと思います。一方で私のようにお金をかけずにたまーにズームやマクロ風を楽しみたいという方にはこのレンズ、おすすめです。いつも単焦点レンズばかり使っていたのでこのレンズを買ってから楽しみの幅が広がりました。
