A Last Look at Aachen.

Just a few impressions, moods and details from the Aachen trip.
I’m already daydreaming about our next trip, to Amsterdam. It will be nice to revisit the city after two years.


Wandering in the City of Aachen.

Apart from the Cathedral there is plenty of interesting buildings to see in the city centre. Although, really, I was astonished to see how small the old city is – one would think such an important former capital would continue to grow, but probably after other cities became more important in the 16th century, Aachen got stuck at its evolutional phase right there. 134 more words
