俄國女間諜長期低調滲透NRA:誰曾陷入她的圈套?

媒體繼續追蹤週一被捕的俄國女間諜瑪麗亞·布提娜(Maria Butina)的信息。《紐約時報》的標題顯示,俄國情報系統長期佈局,採用危險度比較低的方式,滲透美國的政治經濟圈子,以便有一天可以真正影響美國。

檢方起訴中表示,過去幾年,布提娜和她的上線,普京富豪、某國有銀行的負責人Aleksandr Torshin一直在美國來福槍協會(NRA)以及共和黨內部建造基礎影響力。

Torshin稱,自己是NRA的終身會員。他與布提娜多次出現在NRA的籌款活動,年度大會,以及私人射擊場等。

布提娜非常看重NRA,因為她認為,進入NRA是改變共和黨政策的有效方式,因為NRA是共和黨國會選舉中最大的金主。

2014年,布提娜最初到訪美國就是應NRA的前主席David A. Keene的邀請,並為她成功取得簽證。

媒體曾報導過,2015年12月,NRA一個龐大代表團曾應邀訪問俄國,包括了NRA的前主席Keene,副主席Pete Brownell,NRA重要贊助商Joe Gregory等等。他們在莫斯科見到了俄國副總理Dmitry Rogozin。

他們被邀請前往豪華飯店晚餐,前往俄國槍械製造公司。整個過程中,都有布提娜和老闆Torshin陪同。

布提娜繼續被關押
週一被逮捕的俄國人瑪麗亞·布提娜週三再出庭,對檢方提出的間諜指控表示不認罪。

而法庭裁決,鑒於她可能逃離美國,不允許其保釋,會將她關押直到審判。

值得注意的是,對布提娜提出指控的不是通俄門特別檢察官穆勒,而是美國司法部。

同時,起訴書中也稱,布提娜與一名俄國情報機構人員聯繫緊密。

俄國方面認為,需要有人長期在美國活動。2016年8月,布提娜持碩士學習簽證來到美國首都華盛頓的美利堅大學(American University)學習。

今年四月,FBI抄了她的家 —— 這還不到兩年的時間,看上去真不算是個好間諜啊。

FBI在星期一逮捕了布提娜,因為種種跡象顯示,她要離開美國。
