In between commissions, I’ve spent the past two weeks working on this pastel of my son Rory.

Rory is not one for posing for photos or flashing a giant smile on request, so rather than a portrait of him smiling at the viewer I decided to capture him as he really is, studying a bird identification guide while stuffing himself with an Oreo cookie!  27 more words

Sky Garden

The Sky Garden is a trendy complex of bars, restaurants and indoor landscaped gardens at the top of the “Walkie Talkie” building in London.

All the shots below were hand-held and the first one of London at night clearly suffers from reflections of the interior from the huge sloping glass windows……however I quite like the effect, so I decided to post it.
