Here’s what we spotted and heard on the Lock’s Common birdwalk on Saturday 11th May :-Starling, Herring gull, Song thrush (heard only), Jackdaw, Carrion crow, House sparrow, Rook, Lesser black backed gull, Blackbird (collecting worms in beak next to lifeguard building), Linnet, Wood pigeon, Whimbrel (found by Strinda who forgot her binoculars!), Rock pipit, Goldfinch, Meadow pipit, Magpie, Greenfinch, Whitethroat, Skylark, Swift, Chaffinch, Feral pigeon, Swallow, Blue tit (heard only), Sparrowhawk. 78 more words
