My son reflects philosophically on the icy shoreline at Southport Park in Kenosha, Wisconsin during a side-trip there yesterday. The blasts of wind, waves, and sand created an interesting mixture of brown ice and snow that was ten feet above the surface of the lake in some places.
Driving through southeast Wisconsin this morning, I took a random side-trip near Kenosha to Southport Park. I liked the different shades of sand-infused ice I found building up on the shoreline there. 22 more words
