Train destroys car near Rockwell

MASON CITY, Iowa – A motorist paid the price Thursday morning for not obeying railroad signals near Rockwell.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Tracy Ingham of Swaledale was driving east on 150th Street, about a half-mile east of Olive Avenue, when she failed to stop at a railroad crossing.  61 more words
