Finished "Acorn's Promise"

Well, I’ve finally finished this quilt for my Italian friend.  She asked me for it back in December and I had some setbacks along the way.  603 more words


Still working on this one – I’m hand quilting it (my first attempt at hand vs machine quilting.) I used scrap slivers from another project. When it came together it reminded me of the NASA photos of space, hence the name.

Farmer's Wife Quilt finished

After a year of working on this quilt, it is done!   A group of fellow quilters and I agreed to make 8 blocks per month for a year and show our quilts at our Coastal Quilters meeting in June.   181 more words


Another Finish

This is just another quilt in my big box of unfinished quilt tops. This one took quite a while to get quilted. Not only did I do a lot of quilting on it, but I put it aside while I worked on “My Flower Garden.” 124 more words
