CHS Singer Conducts the Philadelphia Orchestra

CHS Sophomore Lowell Hoyt, a member of Select Choir, Sons of Pitch, and the Keystone State Boychoir, had an experience of a lifetime Thursday, April 7, as he conducted our world-class Philadelphia Orchestra in Bizet’s “The March of the Toreadors.” Lowell got a tryout with a small ensemble in the Kimmel Center lobby, and he was chosen over dozens of potential conductors of all ages to conduct the orchestra. 23 more words

Friday, January 22, our vocal groups will entertain their fellow students on our 5th Annual Cheltenham School District Tour of elementary and middle schools!

Select Choir, Touring Ensemble, Up the Octave, and Sons of Pitch will perform for five district schools plus the district staff and administration.
