The following is a large and interesting feasibility study published in 1981 by Bi-State, looking at the potential costs/benefits of an east/west light rail line. The plan envisioned looks incredibly close to how ‘metrolink’ would be built. 50 more words

City of Kinloch, Comprehensive Plan (1979)

From the St. Louis County Municipalities collection, this small document is a summary of the growth expectations in Kinloch, zoning and community developments. At first glance this document can be a little surprising due to its expectation for population growth–however one must be mindful it was created just a few years before the airport expansion discussion turned away from Waterloo/Metro East and back towards a runway extension from Lambert proper. 32 more words
